The next morning

"What are you all doing?"

"Shh!!" Sera shushed Leah as she waddled over to the couch.

"Why are you shushing me?"

"Look Princess" Ray grinned as Leah gasped in awe, she spotted Remus with his wings wrapped around Nymph sleeping peacefully.

"Aww"

"They are adorable," Aubrey smiled, placing a blanket over them.

"They really are"

A couple of hours went by and it was dark, Aubrey, Lena, and April decided to go to the store which caused tension between the teens.

"Why am I sitting in the back?"

"Someone has to make sure the eggs don't break!"

"We don't even buy eggs! We have chicken!"

Lena stuck her tongue out, mocking the fact that she has the driver's seat.

"You always get to drive! I wonder why?"

"Maybe because a hybrid driving a hippie bus SEEMS A LITTLE SUSPICIOUS!!"

"GIRLS ENOUGH!! I would like one peaceful trip to the store where you two aren't at each other's throats!"

Aubrey and Lena got quiet, staring everywhere but April's seat.

"Thank you"

Lena kept driving then spotted a red camaro driving too close to her.

"What the?"

The camaro then hit her in the bumper, causing all of them to scream.

"A little chase huh?!"

"Lena, just pull over!"

"Get out of the way! Nobody forces Lena Vanderbilt off the road!

Lena pressed the brakes as the camaro started swerving around her, Then the camaro slammed into the side of the van, making the van swerve into a tree.

"Ugh.. everyone okay?"

"Nobody forces Lena Vanderbilt off the road, huh?"

Lena growled at the sarcastic comment and started hitting the horn.

Back at the farmhouse

"I almost don't wanna bother them"

"They've been sleeping all day, wake them up"

"But they look adorable!"

"Then take a picture!"

Sera took a picture and then leaned close to the couple, "WAKE UP!"

"Dah!!"

"Good evening!" Sera smiled as the couple stared at her.

"Evening?"

"You've been sleeping all day, chump"

"All day, geez"

Leah giggled as she turned on the T.V revealing a news report.

"A reckless driver qualifies as news out here?"

"Back in New York, everyone was a reckless driver!" Haley snickered as the three girls rushed inside.

"That's the maniac that tried to run us off the road!"

"You ran into that guy?!"

"More like he ran into us! Over and Over! We gotta go back there and teach him a lesson."

"No we don't Lena! Let's just be glad everyone's okay"

"Almost everyone, I hurt my neck trying to save all the food!" Aubrey groaned.

"A noble sacrifice!"

Aubrey tried rubbing the back of her neck when Tony immediately started massaging her neck.

"T-Thanks Tony"

"Of course, Bunty," Tony smiled, "Am I doing this right?"

"Y-yeah.. you're doing it r-right"

Lena growled and stopped around, upset that she was humiliated.

"Lena? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Alright, alright"

Lena then got an idea, a wicked, evil idea.... An awful idea.

"Teach me how to drive, Casey!"

"What?"

"Teach me how to drive like you!"

"I.. um.. okay"

"Yes!!"

"Nice to see you two bonding!"

"Nightshade, shut up!!"

"You shut up!"

"Lena, come on"

"Coming!"

"Hmm.."

"What is it, Aunt April?"

"Nothing, I just thought I heard something"

"Oh, worried?"

"Yeah, a little, but they'll be okay.. right?"

"They're not that crazy!"

"True"

"Awnty?"

"Hmm?" Ray looked down along with April.

"Do you know where big bro is?"

"Last time I saw him, he was with Angie"

"Oh, okie!" Denny smiled and walked away from them.

"Wait.. Denny, no!"

"What's the big deal?"

"I'm gonna let you figure that one out mini hothead" April said and started running after Denny.

"What? All I said was the last time I saw Phillip, he was.. with.. shut up!!" Ray chased after them, which led to the basement.

"Does that feel good?"

"Yes, A-Angie"

"Good, what about this?"

"Oh dios mio!"

"Denny!" Ray shouted, seeing the couple and screaming, "Oh god!" Angie was massaging Phillip's back but he was shirtless.

"Look! Awnty gave me a treat!"

"Phillip put a damn shirt on! Other people live here."

"That's why we came down here!"

"We didn't think you actually used it!"

"Well, surprise!"

"Ugh! Denny, just.. come back upstairs"

"Okay!!"

"A-Angie?"

"Yes, Phillip?"

"Let me treat you to a massage, please?"

"Of course" Angelina took off her coat and moved her hair out of the way.

"Yay" he smiled and started trying to massage her back. "I hope I'm doing this right"

Angelina smiled and hummed in response, he knew he was doing it right.

Back with everyone else

It was morning, Lena and Aubrey were in the barn. Working on two separate projects.

"Hey Nerd, hand me the ¼ inch socket!"

"Sure thing, Neanderthal" Aubrey tossed a ¼ inch socket into her hands.

"This baby's almost ready, isn't it, Diamand breath!"

"Diamond is spelled with an O not an A"

"Says who!"

"The Diamonds!" Aubrey sighed, "That doesn't count, come up with another D word"

"Okay.. donkey face"

Aubrey smacked her arm and stared at the car Lena was fixing.

"Why are you fixing that thing?"

"Because I don't wanna drive some dorky old hippie bus! This is a corvette!"

"Mmm"

"Let's test this baby out!"

A couple of minutes later

"Are you two sure this is a good idea?"

"Of course, I'm 99.99% sure it won't explode"

"So.. grab buckets just in case?"

"If it makes you feel safe"

"Look at who we're talking about"

"Touché" Aubrey grabbed her phone, "Are you ready, Lena?"

"Ready!!"

"Okay, on my mark-!"

"Go!!" Sera shouted.

Lena started the car and drove as fast as the speed of light past the three girls.

"Time! Wow!"

"You two idiots actually did it, I'm almost impressed!" Ray said, quite surprised.

"She's not stopping, is she?"

"Doesn't look like it" Ray said as Aubrey growled.

"Lena! Stop!"

Lena ignored them and kept driving down the road, looking for the speed demon.

"Every time you actually wanna find someone, they aren't here"

Lena groaned, staring at the road until she saw the same red camaro driving behind her.

"Or never mind"

The camaro was driving side by side of Lena and that's when she noticed it was a demented looking mutant, driving the car.

"It's.. a mutant?"

"You! You're the punk that tried to stop me last night!"

"And?!"

"Ooh, I'm gonna teach you a lesson about the road and I'll go easy on you because you're a girl!"

"Go ahead and try!"

The demented mutant growled and started trying to drive Lena off the road.

Back with the others

"Where are they?" Haley asked, standing at the front porch.

"I dunno, they said they were testing out the car"

"For this long?"

"Fair, should we go looking for them?"

"Probably-!"

They saw Casey, towing the corvette back to the farmhouse with the girls inside.

"What happened?!"

"Speed demon 2: Lena Vanderbilt, Zip."

"Shut up."

"You went after that creep?!" Ryan shouted at her.

"I thought I could take him!"

"Lena, you have to stop risking your life!"

"Why should I?! It's not like you risked yours before!"

"That was different! I was young, foolish, thinking I could take on the world!"

"You don't get it."

"Lena Vanderbilt, don't you walk away from us." Ryan said, Lena stopped and stared at him.

"You're not my dad. I had a dad and he was a damn good one."

"Lena-!"

"Stop trying to replace the one I lost!!"

"I'm not trying to but you don't have to prove anything to anyone! We already know how great you are!"

"Yeah right." With that, Lena stormed back into the barn.

Aubrey walked behind her, "Found the problem with the engine?"

"No. In case you haven't realized, I just got in here."

"I was just trying to start a conversation... That was pretty mean what you said to Ryan and April"

"Why do you care"

"Lena, they invited you into their home... Bought you clothes, fed you, took you to the doctors to get everything you needed..."

".. they act like them"

"But they're not trying to replace them"

"Yeah, I'm realizing how sh**ty I was, what else, Curly"

"They love you, I was fortunate enough to have my papa but I wish I could meet my mother...."

"Don't get all sappy on me!!"

"I know how you feel, how about I help work on the corvette?"

".. I'd like that"

"Let's get started!"

"Are you two okay?"

"Yeah... I just.. I don't want to take her father's place but-!"

"You weren't trying to, look.. I kinda understand what Lena's dealing with"

April and Ryan looked at Casey and Nightshade.

"Casey, what happened?"

"You remember April"

"Oh... That"

"What? What happened?"

"It's a long story"

"We have time"

Ryan and Nightshade sat down, waiting to hear the story.

"So.. this started when we were in high school.. I had an amazing mom and little sister, my dad.. could've been better"

"Ohh..."

"One day, I brought home one D and straight F's, the next day, I came into school in nothing but shame and bruises"

Ryan gasped while Nightshade stayed quiet.

"A few days later, I brought home more bad grades, then had to call 911 because when I came home, I watched him take a bottle and shattered it across my mothers face and used it to stab her"

April patted Casey's back, as he explained his story.

"But when he saw me and my sister snitch.. that's when he tried to dispose of us"

"That's when April and her dad took them in"

"Well it was, mom was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead, dad was taken to jail, we had to testify against him, he got life in prison, and then April and her dad took us in"

"Yeah, after that it was hard for Casey and his sister to adapt.... He started becoming more mean and rude"

"Yeah.. and I was grateful but I was very terrible"

"But over time, Casey grew comfortable to the point where I was his wingman!"

"Shh!!"

"What?! Ray has told me about that little school teacher who's caught your eye~"

"S-Shut up!!"

"Ohhh~!!"

"Listen, Ryan, I was an a$$hole to April and her dad, Lena is also being a little demon, just give her some time and space"

Ryan nodded but they were interrupted by Haley telling them to get out here.

"What's wrong?"

"What is it?"

"Just get out here!"

"Alright, alright!"

The four of them walked out of the house and over to the barn.

"What are we looking at.."

Lena grinned as she drove the corvette painted black, with crystals and gem technology on it, as well as a computer inside.

"Wow"

"Presenting the Hot-Rod!"

"You managed to do all of this? It looks awesome!"

"It's crazy how well we work together!"

"It really is"

"A computer?" Ray gestured to the laptop that was ducked taped into the car.

"Yes, a computer"

"It's a way Aubrey can help me navigate with her new A.I. Alondra"

"You all really think this.. car will stop them?"

"Well, Casey told me it worked before!"

"It's different! I had Donnie on my side, Aubrey you don't even know if this... Alondra will work!"

"Well, we're gonna try!"

20 minutes later

"We have the plan down.. right, Lena?"

"Only if you guys can keep up with that thing!" Lena grinned insanely as she drove off.

"Still have a feeling this will end badly?"

"Yes, somehow"

Lena drove around, waiting until she recognized the red camaro following her.

"I found him!"

Lena looked down at the computer and saw a figure of a teenage girl.

"Hello Lena, I am ready to assist you."

"Perfect!"

"Shall I plan a route?"

"Uh.. sure"

"Alright" A route appeared on the screen, "This route will allow the plan to proceed!"

"Perfect!"

Lena started following the route, letting the camaro chase after her. Until she realized the camaro was about to hit her head on.

"Hey!" Lena hit the brakes, making the camaro drive side by side with her. They were driving side by side for a minute until Lena sped up past the van with the others.

Aubrey opened the van door much to the protests of the team, she jumped onto the hood of the camaro, causing it to spin out of control. As it was spinning out of control, she grabbed the driver and threw it out of the car, making her fall off the hood.

"Ha! Not so tough without your car now, huh?" Aubrey shouted, holding her arm in pain. "Lena, we got them!"

"That's what you get for messing with Lena Vanderbilt O'Neil!"

Aubrey got up and looked over at where the mutant driving the camaro landed. Instead of seeing a mutant, she only saw a human.

"A... Human?" Aubrey looked down at the man, as he regained consciousness staring up at her.

"Where am I? What happened?" The guy asked, staring up at her in shock. "What are you?!"

"Y-You're not a mutant?" Aubrey took a step back as the guy passed out, "But if he's human then that means..." Aubrey's face turned white as she heard the roar of an engine coming from behind her.

Lena was driving back to the meet up spot when she saw the same red camaro, only with Aubrey as the crazy driver.

"That's what I'm talking about! I forgot how great it feels to be me!!" A demonic version of Aubrey shouted, using her boa staff as the gear shift, driving in a circle.

"Aubrey?!"

The demonic version of Aubrey turned around, she stuck her long tongue out and proceeded to try and drive Lena off the road.

"You know, I'll let you have your friend back!"

"Fine by me-!"

"But! You have to win a race, you win, you get your friend back, I win, I get the car with all of the technology and you Lena Vanderbilt O'Neil"

"Well, I am pretty awesome! I also got... I have everything to lose so I'll do it."

"First one to Dead Man's Curve, wins."

"It's a deal!"

"What is she doing?"

The team followed after Lena, a good length behind them.

"Looks like a race"

"Of course"

"So, Casey... Your daughter really is just like yo-!"

"She isn't my kid!"

"She is!"

"No she isn't! Why do you keep thinking that?!"

"Look at her!"

"We look nothing alike!"

"She's got her momma's look! No offense Casey but you weren't exactly the virgin mary in High School"

"Shut it, try something else"

"Nightshade, Lena is my daughter by adoption, not bl-!"

"But that doesn't mean she isn't Casey's! And what about Phillip?!"

"For god's sake! Phillip is hispanic!"

"Casey may have some undiscovered Hispanic Heritage!"

"Nightshade, I'm as white as f**king snow! There is no way!"

"What about you Red-Head? Got anymore family secrets?"

"Nightshade, the only secret I got is that my fist is about to go into your face!"

"Try it Ap-!"

"Enough!!"

The adults froze and slowly stared at Remus who was already annoyed by their arguing and was also terrified about Aubrey.

"Either you all stop arguing like toddlers and help us get Aubrey back and make sure Lena doesn't get herself killed, or I stop this van, let you all out on the side of the road and walk back to the farm house your damn selves."

The van was quiet, except for Haley's giggling as she leaned back against her chair.

"What is so funny aunty?"

"You sound just like your daddy, strict."

"And you sound exactly like Ray, a hothead with a smart mouth, wonder who she gets it from."

"She gets it from her daddy, I'm a-!"

"Devil from Hell" Casey said, making Nightshade laugh.

"Could not agree more" He muttered, making Nightshade and Casey cackle.

"Okay... Wait till we get home, you little sh**s..." The three boys stopped laughing and looked at Haley in fear.

Back with Lena

"I don't wanna win this stupid race anymore! Just give me back my friend!"

"Never gonna happen, Lena Vanderbilt! Aubrey-Rose belongs to the speed demon now, baby!"

"Put the car on autopilot!"

"Yes Lena" Alondra started moving the steering wheel as Lena put on a backpack and jumped onto the hood of the corvette. She started fighting with a demonic Aubrey until she hit her with the pipe that sent demonic Aubrey out of the car.

Aubrey transformed mid-air back to her normal self, screaming as she landed on top of Lena.

"Aubrey? You okay?"

"I'm doing better than usual, how about you?"

"Just glad your not dead or a demon"

"Aww, Does someone care about other people besides themselves?"

"Shut up" Lena grumbled then heard the car driving towards them.

"I'm gonna chew you up and spit you out, Lena Vanderbilt." They heard the car say through the radio.

"I got it this time Lena!" Aubrey told her, pulling out her boa staff and started running towards the camaro. She then jumped up and placed her boa staff vertically in the camaro's demonic mouth.

"Leave my friend alone!" She shouted before getting flung off the car.

The car spun around and broke her boa staff into tiny pieces. Then it began to speed up towards both Aubrey and Lena but before it could hit them, the van drove straight into the camaro, running it off the road and off a cliff.

"That was awesome!"

"Oh my!" Aubrey leaned over and saw the car go down in a blaze of glory.

"Are you two okay?!" April said, getting out of the car and running over to them.

"Aunty!"

"Mom!!"

The three of them hugged as the others watched.

"Well, this is a sight" Coral said, watching the three of them

"Yes, it is"

Back at the farmhouse

"It was insane the way Alondra was able to control the corvette!"

"And the way you managed to use the crystal boost! I can't believe that actually worked!"

"And I'm tired of hearing you two being nerds! Casey, Nightshade, and Remus, stay downstairs."

Nightshade, Casey, and Remus were cleaning up the living room.

"Nightshade, Casey, when you two are done, leave me and Mus alone"

"Oh you're a goner!"

"Ah hush"

Nightshade and Casey hurried up as fast as they could as Haley walked into the living room, blowing smoke out of her mouth.

"And, we're done! Have fun!!"

Haley looked at Mus, "You miss your mama?"

".. yeah and the whole 'dream beavers trying to kill us in our sleep with nightmares!' wasn't fun.."

"Look Mus we all got to lose, I miss my husband and you miss your mom... It'll be okay"

".. okay, was that all or..?"

"I was in the same position, you know how this happened years ago?"

"Yeah, I heard that story on the van ride here.. You said Leah's injury is almost the same as Leo's, it was how Mikey and aunt Lovey met and got together and you suffered with aunt April's crying and romance problems"

"Yeah... Not our best moments"

"There's only one difference in our stories, the second time this happened to you, we lost multiple people, the first time when.. If I had to assume, you all were teens, young adults, you all lost someone that's now a taboo if I even mention it"

"You're right but that was the first time in my life I was afraid"

"Oh.. what made you afraid?"

"I was afraid of losing...."

".. why else did you wanna talk to me?"

"Because... You got Raph's temper, it reminds me that he is still here"

"Heh.. okay, glad I know I can make people happy" he said and started walking out of the living room.

"Hold on, I gotta do something" Haley moved his hair out of his face, "Heh"

"Let me guess, a splitting image of him? M.. know what, never mind, good night"

"Nah, you have your mama's eyes" Haley smiled as Remus froze, "Night Chump"
