A couple of weeks have gone and you can say the whole 4 months of staying at the farmhouse has been a nightmare but the real one is just beginning.

Aubrey was running away from something or rather... Someone. She made it to an alleyway but she then realized she was in New York but it was empty, quiet.

"What? This is impossible.... How did I-!" Aubrey nearly had a heart attack when she saw something run past her, "NO!" She continued running until she made it to a water tower.

Aubrey leaned up against something, it was large... furry, she slowly looked up fear in her eyes as she screamed in terror as the creature roared.

Outside with the others

Ray, Sera, Leah, Light, Remus were training together as well as Phillip, Tony, and Lena.

"So, is Nerdette coming down or not?"

"Couldn't wake her up so I just put Lena's dirty laundry all over her face!"

"My laundry isn't that dirty!"

"Girl, Aunty April nearly passed out washing it!"

".. okay maybe! Maybe it's dirty"

The teenagers laughed as all the adults started climbing into the car.

"Hey, we're going to the store, do you all need anything?"

"Just our daily female essentials so Phillip you need some extra make-up wipes" Lena laughed as Phillip smacked her in the back.

"Ah hush!"

"Ooh, can I get some spicy gummy worms! PLEASE!!"

"The store is tiny Sera, it's the kind of place that'll have peanut butter or jelly"

The adults drove to the store which ultimately led to an awkward conversation, Starring: Nightshade.

"So... April, Casey, do you guys have something to tell us?" Nightshade asked, poking his head out of back.

"No.. why?"

"Yeah, why do you ask Nightshade?"

"Just, it's about Phillip and Lena... Be straight with us... Are they your kids?"

"No, what? No!"

"Nightshade, what the hell are you getting at today?"

"Don't lie to me! The facts are all there! Lena is too much like Casey and Phillip is like April! Lena before she dyed her hair had dark hair like Casey's!!"

"And? They have parents-!"

"Lena was in the foster system! Just tell us the truth!"

"Nightshade, you have lost your damn mind!" Haley shouted, making everyone quiet.

".. anyway"

"Besides, the timeline doesn't fit." Haley mumbled.

"What was that Haley?"

"Nothing, look we're here!"

"Oh yeah!"

Casey parked the car as everyone else climbed out.

"More deja vu"

"Not helping Haley" April grabbed a basket and started placing the essentials.

"I'm just saying"

Lovey looked around the store when she spotted a broken book, on a coffee table.

"Ob.. Obturaculum Som.. Somniorum?"

Lovey reached out to touch it when she saw an older woman standing on the other side of the table, slamming her hand next to Lovey's.

"Nobody touches that book."

Lovey whimper as Casey and Haley got in front of her.

"Don't snap at her like that!"

"Sorry, I haven't had my coffee! Names Bertha, My dad just gave me this place" Bertha walked over to the coffee maker and drank some hot coffee.

"Was this intentional?"

"Did you guys find everything you need?"

"Um.. do you have any spicy gummy worms?"

"What is that? Bait?"

"It's candy!"

"Oh, I have some upfront but nothing spicy"

"Aww"

"Heh, my dad said a bunch of teenagers came here a while ago... Asked for the same gummy worms"

"Really?"

"Yeah, I thought nobody lived here anymore"

"Surprise, we still do"

"Yeah..." Bertha stared at all the food they had, "A lot of food.... Big family?"

"Not really, just us"

"Huh. You've been tired?"

"Um.. nope!"

"Have a good day!" Ryan pushed everyone out of the store.

Back at the farmhouse

Ray and Remus walked out of the kitchen, where they spotted Sera, Denny, Lena, and Preston standing over a sleeping Leah with Light watching them.

"What are you all looking at?"

"These dorks just finished drawing on Blue Jay's face"

"It looks nice! Look aunty hothead and uncle Re-Re!" Denny smiled and pointed at Leah's sleeping face.

Ray started dying of laughter while Remus froze in shock and fear.

"What's wrong chump! This is hilarious!!"

"Okay, everyone move!" Remus yawned as he pushed everyone off of Leah.

"You should go to sleep!"

"Maybe, just don't color me while I'm sleeping!" Remus sat down on a chair and slowly took a nap.

"Go on! Color him!"

"Yay!!"

Ray laughed then she yawned, slowly falling asleep.

"Aunty hothead?"

"A little shut eye doesn't sound so bad" Ray closed her eyes, putting her arm over her eyes.

"Mm.."

"Yeah, me too" Sera grinned, she leaned close to draw on Ray's face.

"Don't even think about it."

"Naps are nature's... Hugs" Sera fell asleep as soon as the adults arrived.

"Kids, we're back!"

"Hey Mrs.Hamato!" Nymph was on the porch with Angelina.

"Hey girls, where are the others?"

"Inside, Remus is watching them"

"Okay"

The adults walked inside and were disappointed to find Leah, Ray, Sera and Remus asleep in the living room with Light trying to wake them up.

"Light, what's wrong?"

"They all fell asleep!"

"And that's supposed to be a bad thing?"

"Yes, because I have slept a total of 2 hours a night so they must stay awake!"

"Light, maybe you're the one that needs more sleep-!"

"I will, after we save New York"

"Fine, kids! Wake up!"

Meanwhile in Leah's nightmare

Leah woke up from the couch but she was alone, her leg was aching more than ever.

"I'm never gonna get better" She walked inside then spotted a figure of Andrew in the forest, "What.. Andrew?"

She waddled over to the figure only to realize it was just a tree, she broke down.

"I'm never gonna get stronger..." Leah started tearing up but she heard a huge whoosh on top of her. "What the?"

Leah looked up and gasped in fear as a giant meteor landed on top of her. "Dah!!"

A few moments went by and Leah punched her way out of the meteor, glowing a bright blue.

"What in the world..?" She looked down and realized she was standing, she smiled widely. "That didn't hurt! Neither does my leg!"

She started jumping around like she used to, "I feel fine in fact, I feel great!" She grinned as she kicked a tree in half.

In Ray's nightmare

Ray opened her eyes and she was sitting at her old apartment's dining room table, with Haley, Raph, and Casey all with white eyes and staring at her, groaning.

"Huh..?"

Ray slowly moved her hand away from the table but she kept an eye on the three of them.

The three of them kept staring at her then she saw their heads turn into zombie heads.

Ray gasped in shock as suddenly a giant beaver-like monster appeared out of the table.

"I'm dread beaver!"

Ray screamed as everything started changing, it was now just an ice cold room, she was being tied to the chair by snakes as she saw Haley, Raph, and Casey playing different instruments.

In Remus's nightmare

Remus woke up in a hospital bed, he looked around and saw his reflection in the mirror... He looked just like Splinter.

"Hmm"

He then turned around and suddenly he was at the farmhouse, "What the..."

He blinked again and suddenly, he saw nothing put pitch black. "Am I supposed to get scared sh**less by something yet or?"

Remus then felt an arm on his shoulder, his first instinct was to punch whoever it was but when it grabbed his arm, he froze and started shaking.

".. mom?"

"Hitting your mother? I'm so disappointed..."

"I'm sorry! I didn't know that was you!"

"You don't seem to know a lot, like where am I? Why haven't you come to look for me?"

"Mom, we had to leave, Leah got hurt and if we stayed any longer.. we're gonna look for you when we come back"

"Excuses, you really would leave your own mother, the woman who raised you, for selfish, uncivilized, freaks." Remus froze in fear as the creature who liked his mother started changing into a giant beaver.

In Sera's nightmare

Sera skipped around, as she walked around a land filled with candy and fun music, making her giggle.

"Ooh, this is so much fun!"

She ran into a bright blue beaver and she giggled loudly.

"I'm Dave Beaver! I'm supposed to scare you!"

"Then I guess you should've left your adorable paddle tail at home!"

"It's adorable isn't it! Wanna play?"

"Yeah!!"

Back with the others

"How come Sera is the only one that looks okay?"

"It's Sera we're talking about here"

"Yeah, she seems fine but her pulse is getting weaker"

"So is the rest, normally I would think it's a fever but none of them have the symptoms"

"I don't think this is medical.. wait, remember the girl was asking us if we were tired lately"

"Yes, do you remember that creepy guy a couple of years ago? He asked the same thing"

"That's when the guys had dream beavers.. you don't think?"

"But that's impossible! Casey, you destroyed the book!"

"But that's the only other thing that'll explain it! Let me go see"

"Let us go with you!" Lena and Phillip shouted, earning a smug grin from Nightshade.

".. fine! Fine! Nightshade, get that grin off your face!"

"Secret Love Children~" Nightshade whispered as he hid behind the couch.

"Secret what?"

"Ignore him, let's go"

Casey got into the car with Lena and Phillip and started driving to the store as Tony used his powers to see into the team's head.

Back in Aubrey's nightmare

Aubrey was running through doors until she ended up in her old bedroom in Madrid, she looked at a photo of Tony on her desk.

"What the.. Tony?"

"WAKE UP!" The picture shouted, as Aubrey looked behind her and showed a giant beaver growling at her.

"What is going on?!"

"I am Dark Beaver, I can't wait to eat you, my furry friend!"

"E.. eat me?!"

Dark Beaver reached out to grab her which made Aubrey run out the window and into the lair.

"Why am I here!"

Aubrey continued running place to place, slowly losing her mind.

Meanwhile in Leah's nightmare

"This is amazing!!" Leah was in her komodo dragon form, jumping from tree to tree at the speed of light, "I am a superhero!!!"

"What does every superhero need~?" Leah froze as she turned around to listen to the voice.

"Who's there?!"

"I am Dire Beaver, I'm everything you ever fear and one convenient horrifying package! And I'm here to teach you something about.... Pain."

That's when Dire Beaver snuck up from behind her and started to attack her.

Leah growled and fought back, "This is easy!"

"Are you sure about that?" They said, disappearing from her view, only to sneak up behind her and kick her injured leg.

Leah screamed in pain as he threw her up into the air, "AH!!"

They flew up after her and then her phone began to ring.

Dire Beaver squinted his eyes, feeling like he's been in this situation before, "Well... Answer."

"Okay..?" Leah pulled out her phone and answered as Tony began shouting at her.

"Leah, you have to wake up!!"

"I am awake! I got superpowers from a meteor and now I'm fighting a giant beaver, and..." Leah then realized how ridiculous she sounded, "Hold on a damn minute..." She turned around and looked at Dire Beaver, "Am I dreaming of you?"

"Not a chance!" Dire Beaver punched Leah so hard she flew into the sun.

In Ray's nightmare

Ray screamed trying to get out of the chair, slowly losing consciousness, Then a bunch of snakes came out and started trying to strangle her.

"I am Dread Beaver. And your soul is mine!!"

Soon a giant snake came, swallowing Haley, Raph, and Casey whole and slithered closer to her.

The snake was about to swallow her until....

"RAYDIANT, YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP NOW!!" The snake shouted in the tone of Tony's voice.

"Huh?"

The snake coughed, clearing its throat, "Pardon... Me!" then continued swallowing her whole.

In Remus's nightmare

Remus could barely keep his eyes awake, as the beaver started changing into everyone he loves, torturing his mind and feelings.

"You're not them.."

"Oh, but I can be everyone and everything~ I am... Delusion Beaver! I can be your mother" Delusion Beaver transformed into Zoey, "Or I can be your little friend~" He transformed into Leah, "Or I can be..." He unintentionally transformed into Tony.

"Remus, you need to wake up! Wake up!!"

"Tony?" Remus stared in confusion as Delusion Beaver changed back into his normal form.

"Not who I meant."

Remus kept running as Delusion Beaver kept tormenting him with changes.

In Sera's nightmare

"Geez, this ping pong's really making me sleepy.."

Dave Beaver giggled and kept hitting her with the peppermint ball, "That's because I'm draining your life force!"

"Oh yeah.."

"Hey Sera! Tony says you should wake up!" A giant lollipop said.

"Ha! Pop's told me never to listen to a talking lollipop! He learned that one the hard way" Sera said, dismissing the lollipop and continued getting hit with the ball. "Ow"

Meanwhile with Casey, Phillip and Lena

Lena and Phillip looked around the store, searching for the book while Casey walked towards the register.

"Heh, bingo, I found it!"

"Well, open i-!"

"They sent you?! Didn't they?!"

The three of them turned around and spotted Bertha holding a chainsaw.

"Um... Who?"

"The dream beavers!"

Casey gasped at the name, he remembered why this all seemed so familiar but Phillip and Lena were still confused.

"What are dream beavers?"

"Didn't I tell you nobody touches the book?!" Bertha turned on the chainsaw and attacked them.

"Dah!!"

"Get away from them!"

The three of them started fighting for their lives against Bertha who seemed more afraid than insane.

"Would you knock it off?! We're just trying to help our friends!"

"WHAT?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE CHAINSAW!!"

Phillip knocked the chainsaw out of her hands, making it turn off.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Lena shouted, holding up her pipe.

"I'm sorry, I'm just high strung! I haven't slept in the past 25 years!"

"You're dad, his name was Bernie... Huh?" Casey asked, stepping towards her.

"Yeah.. how do you know?"

"Let's just say, I'm the reason that book is destroyed. But that's not what I wanna know"

"Well, what is it?"

"How come the Dream Beavers are still here?! When I smashed the book it was supposed to stop them!"

"Because my dad decided to fix it! Look!" She opened up the book and showed him the mostly fixed dream plug.

"Why. We warned him not to fix it, now my nieces and nephew are suffering!!"

"I don't know! Just destroy it for good, please! I miss my sleep!"

"I can't here! Come with me!" Casey started mumbling angrily as the three of them followed after him.

"This has happened before?"

"Just come on"

Back at the farmhouse

Tony started shaking Aubrey, trying to wake her up.

"Tony, that won't work!"

"I don't know what else to do! I can barely feel any of their pulses anymore!"

"And if we can't wake them up, they won't make it"

"Look what we found!"

Lena and Phillip dragged Bertha into the farmhouse who barely had any reaction to the mutants.

"Oh"

"Oh? No, screaming or slurs?!"

"Nope"

"Okay, Casey, what did you find?"

"Remember that stupid dream plug that I broke?"

"Unfortunately" Coral said, shaking Leah.

"Well, it got fixed."

"God damnit!!"

"Aubrey's not breathing! Aubrey's not breathing!!"

Lena grabbed the plug, "Screw it!" she slammed it on the ground and used her pipe to smash it into a million pieces.

A few seconds after she smashed it, Ray, Leah, Aubrey, Sera and Remus woke up.

"You're okay!" Tony kissed Aubrey's cheek, making her turn bright red, giggling.

"Bertha? How do you feel?"

"Terrified!"

"Don't be, it'll be.. smaller than you think"

"What?" Smoke started appearing around the broken plug.

"We're free! Finally free!"

They heard as tiny plush size beavers appeared.

"Plush toys?"

"Hi Dave!!" Sera said, waving down at him.

"Hi Sera-!"

"SHUT UP DAVE!!"

"Aww, do you remember us?" Haley grinned evilly, staring down at them.

"Oh not you!"

"Haley, you spent two hours smacking them with your tail"

"And I'm gonna do it again!"

"We're just leaving!!"

"You better." Lena tapped them with her pipe.

"We're going, we're going, jerks" they said then disappeared. That's when everyone else heard a thud on the ground.

Bertha was fast asleep on the floor, earning giggles from Preston and Denny.

"Someone wants to help me take her home?"

Coral put her hand up and started carrying Bertha along with Casey outside.

"Okay, I know we almost bought it and everything but my leg feels so much better!"

"See, we told you putting your feet up would help!"

In the middle of the night

"Well.. no point in trying to sleep.." Remus mumbled to himself, getting out of bed, walking downstairs and into the kitchen.

Remus saw Nymph sitting at the table, eating ice cream.

"I see I'm not the only one who's not sleeping"

"I couldn't sleep, Lena snores"

"Aww"

"Come here, want some chocolate ice cream?"

".. maybe"

Remus joined Nymph, as the two started eating ice cream together which led them asleep, cuddling on the couch.
