About three months have passed since the invasion and a lot had happened

"It has been 3 months since the invasion, Leah was badly hurt, the turtles are..... Gone, thankfully we all took shelter in April's farmhouse." Coral was sitting on the porch swing, writing in her notebook.

"And since we've been here, we've all had to help out"

Sera was walking around in a straw hat, feeding the chickens while humming old McDonald's. She started to throw some chicken food out and pour out what was left in the bag.

"Serafina usually goofs around a lot but she helps so much around the farm"

"Okay, who's been cooking? It smells good!"

"Don't look at me, it was all him!" Casey chuckled and gestured to Remus, who was trying to avoid the attention.

"Remus has been bonding with the boys a lot more, trying to teach him how to be a man. I hope Casey is taking by good notes"

"Bunty, are you sure this will work?"

"Yes, just one more drop and I think I got it"

"Alright"

Aubrey proceeded to put one more drop of mutagen into a medicine bottle then it exploded.

"Maybe the next try?"

"Aubrey has been working on a mutagenic medicine for Leah with Tony's help and it's been going well.. mostly."

Ray was sitting in a chair, staring at Leah who was out of her Komodo dragon form and back to normal, Captain Ryan was crawling onto the edge of the tub and stared at her.

"Ray has been keeping a close eye on Leah, waiting for her to wake up, she has never left her side since."

Phillip and Lena were chopping up firewood with Nymph, along with Haley's help. This caused Coral to smile.

"That's enough firewood you three, take it inside!"

"I heard your boyfriend cooked again Nymph, you got lucky!"

"Oh hush up, I'm shocked Phillip! I thought you would be with Angelina and Denny playing in the river"

"Well, I wanted to help somehow! Plus.. Denny thinks of her as his aunty so, I may as well let them bond"

"You sure you aren't doing this for a different reason, like.. oh I dunno, trying to get our advice and get a ring?"

"Lena, shut up! You can't even commit to a hairstyle!"

"Shut it! So Nymph, since Mus spent the night before all of this happened, how is he in bed?"

"Okay, Let's go inside!" Nymph blushed madly and speed walked inside with Phillip and Lena laughing behind her.

"You didn't answer my question!!"

"Now I'm curious, how was it?"

"Nothing happened!"

"Lena, Phillip, and Nymphadora became close friends during these months, they remind me of Haley, Lovestruck, and Novo when they were younger but even while everyone is getting use to the life here, I Coral, servant of Novo Couture can't help but miss New York, the turtles, everyone... Hopefully Leah will heal and we will all go home soon but life as the Great Hamato Yoshi once said.... Must continue on" Coral sighed as she finished writing in her notebook then walking inside.

"Gotcha aunty!" Denny giggled as he splashed water on her.

Angelina laughed and used her tail to splash water on Denny.

"Hey!!"

"Sorry, Denny! How about we head back? Lunch time should be starting soon!"

"Okay! Aunty?"

"Yes, Denny?"

"Would you and big bro get married one day, so you could actually be my aunty?"

"Ep!" Angelina turned bright red, "M-Maybe?" She wrapped him up in a towel and held his hand as they walked back to the house.

"Yay!!" He smiled and started running over to the house. "Big bro!!"

"Phillip!"

"Huh?" He said then got tackled into a hug by Denny. "Dah! Hey!"

"We're here for lunch!"

"I see, come on, food's done!"

"Already? Who cooked?"

"Mussy did!"

"Oh? Nymph, you got lucky, better make sure nobody tries to take him!"

"Oh hush! Now what did you make this time, Honey?"

"Well, I made chili!"

"Oooh, it smells delicious!" Haley chuckled and set the paper plates.

"Who taught you how to cook and could I get some lessons!"

"Um.. mom taught me, actually.. never mind, let's eat"

"Should someone send a plate to Ray?"

"I got it, I need to see her and Blue Jay anyway"

"Okay, aunty April, how much longer until you have your baby?"

"Should be any day now"

"Aww!! What will you two name her or him?"

"Um.. any suggestions?"

The table froze, made April giggle as the awkwardness spread then they heard Light scream in joy.

"Get up here!!"

Everyone ran upstairs except Denny who was watching tv and eating, they saw Leah awake.

"Leah?"

"H-Hey everyone" Her voice was deeper and slightly raspy because of how long she's been in a coma.

"Come on, let us get you up"

"Smells good, is that chili?"

"Mmm hmm"

"Like grandmother's, is she here?"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it, okay?" Coral helped her out of the tub.

"Okay.. how long was I out?"

"3 months, it will be four months soon"

"I was out that long.. oh geez"

"You had us worried sick, Ray barely slept"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine"

"So, where's my dad? Everyone else?"

".. the Diamonds managed to invade the city, Leo, Raph, and Mikey were beaten half to death and thrown down a sewage pipe, Karai was also beaten half to death but Metal took her.. somewhere"

".... How did you manage to find me? All I remember is running then it all goes blank"

"Anton threw you through a window into our hiding spot"

"Then.. grandmother's here.. right?"

"... we have no idea where she is, she had to work an extra shift in the hospital, then we went looking.. for all we know, we don't know if she's even still alive"

"Oh god... How am I doing Aubrey?"

"Okay, but you need to heal up, I made some medicine for you"

"Oh? What kind?" Leah held Captain Ryan for support.

"It'll help you get your strength back"

"You better, now I'm hungry! Where's my plate?" She chuckled then groaned in pain.

"I got it"

"Thanks, Mus" She leaned back and sighed, staring up at the ceiling.

"First thing tomorrow, we're gonna do a bunch of exercises to help get your strength back, got it?"

"Yeah, can someone turn on the tv?"

"Sure princess"

"Here Lele" Remus said, giving her the plate. ".. I'm gonna go outside for a bit"

"No... stay, the last thing I wanna be is alone"

"I'll b.. never mind"

"Please, I need my best friend"

".. alright"

"Thanks" Leah smiled and hugged him, then she started crying.

"Hey, hey"

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry"

"What are you sorry for?"

"Not being here..."

"Hey.. it's okay, it's okay, nobody blames you, plus you're here now.."

"But it doesn't make up for anything..."

"Yeah, it will"

Leah smiled as Remus hugged her tightly.

About 20 minutes later

"What are you doing out here Mussy?"

"Nothing, just thinking.."

"Is it about your mom?"

".. yeah, just.. when we do go back and after the invasion is over.. the whole, she might be dead.. I don't wanna believe it but I might have to"

"Hey... Don't think like that! She'll be okay, besides... I think everyone is a little scared.... I've never been this far away from Pop-Sical before..."

"Aww, you make a fair point"

"Come on, Let's go inside"

The next day

"Come on Leah! You've gotten really weak!"

"Don't rub it in, Light" Leah chuckled weakly then groaned as she held onto her crutch.

"Let me do it just this once, Blue Jay!"

Leah smiled sarcastically then fell on her face, she winced and held her knee in pain.

"I don't think... I'll ever be the same again..." Leah sighed.

"That's not true! You'll probably be twice as strong, now let's go!"

Leah stood up, she pulled out the mutagenic medicine and drank it from the bottle, then she started feeling dizzy.

"I.. don't feel so good.."

Light turned around, "Blue jay-!" She gasped and Leah threw up the medicine she drank. "Blue jay?!"

"I think it's the medicine Aubrey gave me... I'm not feeling so good..."

"Alright, let's go back to the farm house"

Light helped Leah up and started helping her back to the farmhouse, as everyone was cleaning up a little and setting out her clothes.

"Ow"

Coral watched her from the kitchen with the other adults, "She's getting worse than how she was before she woke up"

"We know Coral.. we don't exactly know what to do!"

"Maybe I should call Alanna? No, that is stupid! She will have my head and my gem!"

"She probably won't help as much either! What ab.. ow" April started and leaned against a counter.

"April, you okay?" Casey looked at her and Haley recognized what April was feeling.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm f.. Ow"

"Alright, red-head! You are in labor, Casey go get Ryan" Haley picked up April and took her to the bathroom.

"Haley, it's just Braxton Hicks! I'm fine!"

"Alright" Haley put her in the bathtub and got out some towels, "I call bullsh** but fine"

"Of course you do, when will you not call bullsh**?"

"If the baby doesn't pop out in the next hour"

"Deal"

A couple of hours have passed as everyone was in the living room, waiting for April to give birth.

"You still call bullsh** Haley?"

"Shut up!"

Leah ignored their argument and started brooding, staring out the window.

"Lele?"

"Huh?"

"You're brooding again, what's wrong?"

"I just can't stop thinking about our father's and aunts, maybe they're not really gone!"

"Aww"

"Leah, we all saw it happen! Metal threw the three of them down a drainpipe and took Aunt Karai"

"But they might not be dead! Yeah, they're probably injured but they might not be dead!"

"I would've still had the connection with them, kiddos!" April exclaimed, as she brushed Lena's hair.

"I'm trying to have hope, alright!"

The power went out causing a giant wave of annoyance.

"Oh great"

"It's just a blown fuse, I will have it back in two shakes of a fox's tail"

Then the fire went out.

"Great, looks like we need more firewood" Ray said, she grabbed the axe and walked outside.

"I found a flashlight!"

"Y'all stay here! I'll be back" Ray took her jacket and started walking towards the wood and started chopping some bark. She then heard something close to her.

"Come on, Ray... Don't get paranoid!" She pulled out her sai and pointed it at a deer who was staring at her, "Damn"

Until she heard something else come out from behind her. When she turned around, she was trapped by vines as her scream became nothing.

Meanwhile at the farmhouse

"Ray!!"

Everyone was outside, shouting for Ray since it's been a while since she left.

"She's been gone too long!"

"RAY!! Can you hear us?!" Lena shouted.

"She would've heard us by now! Ray!!"

"Okay, we need to split up" Leah looked at the group. "Aubrey and Tony, you two go that way, Lena and Sera, you two go that way, Phillip and Angelina, you two go that way, Mus and Nymph, you two go that way" she said, splitting all of them up and pointing in different directions.

"What about you Lele?"

"I'll stay here with Light, I won't be much help anyways-!"

"Aubrey and Tony alone... together?!" Lena shouted, pointing at the awkward couple.

"Sera and Lena, you two go that way, Aubrey and Tony, you two go that way"

Everyone went their separate ways but Lena wasn't happy about it.

"I see someone likes the woods in the middle of the night"

"I do, Bunty"

"Is it peaceful?"

"It just reminds me of the life I had before"

"Was it better?"

"Not really because you weren't there," Tony smiled at her.

"O-oh"

"Aubrey, are you alright? You have been acting cold since we left New York"

"Well, my papa, uncles and aunt are gone, your father might've gotten mutated too! Our home is" she started then her head started hurting.

"Are you alright?"

"I.. I think we're being followed"

"Stay close"

"Okay"

Meanwhile with Sera and Lena

"Why didn't you want Tony and Aubrey to be looking for Ray together?"

"Sera, what happens when a vampire and a cinnamon roll go out into the woods alone?"

"They talk?"

"No! What do you think your parents did on those... "late night forest walks"?"

"Look at new plants and have picnics!"

"Know what! Forget I said anything" Lena kept walking, using the flashlight.

"Aww! I thought it was because you liked one of them!"

"No way, I just saw way to many Dracula movies"

"Ohh, okay!"

Lena froze as she saw an old shed, it looked to be that it was open before.

"What's wrong Lena?"

"Maybe Ray's in there, look! There's paw prints"

"Ray!! Come out!"

"Come on, flaming tamale!" Lena opened the door and saw Leah's medicine surrounded by candles.

"What the?"

Sera hid behind Lena as they saw a giant bush of roses in the corner, it was breathing.

"Ray?"

The creature lifted it's head to show glowing emerald eyes and sharp fangs, covered in thorns. Said creature tried to chase them and they screamed.

Meanwhile with Remus and Nymph

Nymph was shining the flashlight at trees, while holding Remus's arm out of fear.

"It's pretty late"

"Yeah, maybe we should turn back"

"Are you sure? I think the forest looks pretty this late at night"

"Oh?" Nymph looked up at him.

"Yeah, mostly because I like to look outside when it's dark and I just find the night.. more peaceful"

"But the night can be so scary sometimes-!"

"I know, would you feel better if we went back to the farmhouse?"

"Maybe-!" They heard Sera scream bloody murder.

"Sera?!"

"Let's go!!"

Back with Lena and Sera

"Sera, I think it's Ray!"

"But she's all leafy and weird looking! Like a salad!!" Sera screamed, pointing at Ray's new form.

"Something must've infected her!"

Ray growled at them then wrapped Sera up in vines and continued to hang her up on a tree.

"Hang on! Let me try and cut you down!"

Lena pulled out a pocket knife until Sera looked behind Lena and screamed in fear.

"What? What is it?"

Lena turned around and saw a giant mutated swamp creature, wearing a rag over his face, holding a giant pitchfork. She screamed as the giant swamp creature hit her and she went flying away from Sera.

"Ow! F**K!" Lena screamed then gasped as the pitchfork pinned her against the tree, "No! No! Not now!! HELP!!"

"Lena?! Sera?!"

Remus and Nymph screamed as they saw the swamp creature tangle Lena in vines.

"Get back" Lena tried to tell them but it was muffled.

Remus pulled out his knives and started attacking the creature while Nymph tried to get them down.

Instead, both of them got tangled up.

"Let go!!" Nymph struggled, growling at the creature.

"Let us go!!"

The creature dragged them into the shed then started walking away.

With Phillip and Angelina

Angelina looked around, "Huh"

"What is it?"

"It's dark"

"Mmm hmm, why?"

"I've never seen a forest this beautiful before!"

"Aww.. maybe we could do more late night exploring"

"Really?"

"Yeah, it'll be fun!"

"I would like that-!" They heard a blood curdling scream.

"Crap!!"

They started running then crashed into Aubrey and Tony.

"You two heard that right?"

"Yeah!"

"Are the two of you, alright?" Tony looked at the two of them and saw a hickey on Phillip's neck, "I can tell Phillip is alright"

"We're fine! Where'd that scream come from?"

"It sounded like Nymph!"

"Oh no"

"Let's go!"

The creature was chasing after the four teenagers, not with them realizing it. They only realized it when it was too late.

Back at the farmhouse

Leah was outside with the adults and Light watching her.

"So, Aunt April, how's the baby?"

"Going strong"

"That's good!"

"Help!!" They heard Aubrey shout as she tried to run over to them.

"Aubrey?"

"Aubrey!!"

As she tried to run over to them, she was trapped by the vine wrapping around her.

"Help me!!" She managed to scream before getting dragged back into the forest.

"No!" Leah tried to run to her but she fell face first onto the ground, she gasped as she saw her tanto stab the ground and she looked at her reflection, who she is.

"Blue Jay?"

"I'm getting them back. One way or another." Leah stood up, she groaned in pain as she waddled over to her tanto and picked it up off the ground.

"I'm going with you"

"So are we" Haley helped her up as Coral, Casey, and Nightshade ran over to them.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the forest

Lena woke up and saw Sera hanging upside down with Ray growling and staring at them.

"Dah!! What is that?!"

"It's Ray, Lena! Where are we?!"

"I don't know!!"

Ray tried clawing them until Sera screamed in fear which caused her to stop. The creature was back, but with more guests.

"Phillip! My best friend! What did you do to him?!"

"Aww, you do care!"

"Shush! Curly!"

The creature dropped them on the ground, walked over to Ray and picked her up. Ray whimpered in pain as the creature was draining the mutagen out of her body.

"Hey, get off her!"

"No! Ray!"

"No!"

Phillip woke up then kicked the other's which caused them to gasp as they saw what's happening. The creature then dropped a class ring on the ground.

"You turned her into a plant... YOU TURNED HER INTO A PLANT!!!" Sera yelled, "Let me at him! I'll smack the mutagen right out of you creep!"

"Help!" A distant and familiar shout was heard.

The creature turned around and walked out of the shed, closing the door behind him. A few moments after the creature left, he got a ninja star thrown at his head.

"Give me back my family, freak." Leah snarled, her eyes were black and blue as she had her fangs growing from her teeth.

The creature started attacking her and she fought back, thinking she had slowly healed enough to take it. As she started fighting it, Light and Casey snuck into the shed.

"Uncle Casey! Light!" The teenagers shouted.

"The hell is that thing?"

"It's Ray! I think I can cure her but cut us down!" Aubrey struggled.

"Done!"

Haley had the creep pinned down as Leah stabbed him repeatedly, screaming each time all she saw was Metal's face. That managed to keep the creature down.

"Leah!" Nightshade pulled her away from the creature as Leah sobbed her eyes out.

"I want my life back! I want my damn life back!!"

"Hey, we know, we know, breathe, please!"

"Let's get it back to the lab"

"Aubrey, do you think you can help Ray?"

"I hope so Leah, I hope so" Aubrey helped her up and everyone started walking back to the farmhouse.

A few hours later

Ray opened her eyes and saw everyone staring at her, mostly happy that she was awake.

"Ugh.. what happened?"

"Welcome back, Ray"

"Oh no! She's hideous!" Sera screamed while holding Lena tightly.

"What do you mean? She's perfectly fine!"

"How about now, Sera?" Remus said, giving Ray her ring back.

"Phew! Much better!" Sera giggled but Ray punched her in the stomach as she slowly got up.

"Like I said before, the f**k happened?"

"The creep sucked out your mutagen and turned into a plant, girl! It was awesome!!" Lena snickered and handed her back her jacket.

"But I managed to drain all of the mutagen from the creep's body, back to you, using an I.V.! Cool right!"

"Heh, cool. Now what happened to the monster?"

"It got turned back into swamp goo! Pretty cool, right?"

"Aubrey worked for 4 hours to save ya, kiddo! Leah never left your side" Haley ruffled her hair and smiled.

"That's what cousins and family do.. we gotta heal up Ray!"

"Damn right, we got a city to take back" Ray grinned and high-fived Leah, earning a smile.

"I'll give that a big, fat, sloppy, wet.. BOOYAKASHA!!"
