Light was healing Hayden's face when she saw her mom staring at her.

"What do you want now mother"

"I just wanted to see if your boyfriend was okay, you seemed a bit shaken up"

"I wasn't shaken up! I'm fine"

"Light, I understand how you feel when your lover gets hurt" Karai tried to rub her shoulder but she swatted her away.

"Yeah right, you're only saying that because you think you know me."

"I do, you're just like me! How do you think I felt when I saw your father paralyzed on the floor all those years ago-!"

"SHUT UP!! Stop trying to act like you know how I feel and that you understand me when YOU DON'T!!"

"Light Hebi Valentine Oroku! That is enough! I am your mother, do you understand that?! I'm here to guide you!"

"Then maybe I don't want a mother!! You should've perished like the others!!"

".... you don't mean that." Karai stood in disbelief.

"Does it look like I'm joking."

Karai walked away in shock, "What have I've done to make her so angry at me..." she thought as she sat down.

"Light, that was f**ked up, I know I can say messed up sh**, but that was f**ked up" Ray said as her and the others just stared at what they watched unfold.

"You don't have room to talk, Ray. As I recall, your mother respects you and doesn't treat you like a child!"

"Light, you keep acting like a child! What would you expect?" Leah said, looking at her.

Leah took a step back, this hurt her more than anything.

"You're right, I have no mother because she died fighting for me. While your mother has spent HER WHOLE LIFE TAKING CARE OF YOU! You have a mother! I don't understand how you can treat her like this!" Leah teared up and walked away.

"Close to midnight, we should probably rest for the night"

"Hayden, I can walk you home-!"

"I can ask my mom or dad to come get me from the closest bus stop or something"

"No, the foot is probably looking for us so it's best if I walk you"

"I.. alright, why does everyone look pissed or upset?"

"Hayden, I think it's better that you were unconscious when all that happened"

Light was walking back home from dropping off Hayden, she was listening to music. Thinking about what she said.

"I should apologize, Huh? Just my luck..." Light mumbled, she didn't even realize that Anton was following her.

Light gasped and tried to grab her tanto but he grabbed her arm.

"Your Aunt Metal wants to meet you." Anton smirked and threw a smoke bomb in her face, blinding her.

Light tried to attack him but she couldn't see, he punched her in the face and it knocked her out cold until she secretly sent out an SOS message to everyone.
