A few months went by since that day, Leah hasn't seen Andrew and she's come to terms with that, Haley has finally settled into the apartment, and the wedding was coming up soon, so Leo and Karai decided to take a trip down memory lane.

"That's for coming over Karai"

"No problem, Leo! So what are we looking for?"

"Nothing much, we never really got around to looking through any of his stuff since he died so.."

"So, this is a case of we're just being nosy just because?"

"Maybe"

"Fine with me"

Leo chuckled and began looking through Splinter's old things, Memories filled his head. Karai helped him and she found their old photo albums and looked through them.

"Oh Leo~ Is this you?" She snickered and pointed to an old embarrassing photo of him.

"Oh god! Put that away!"

"Make me!"

Leo snatched the photo, folded it up and put it in his coat.

"Aww, you never let me have any fun!"

"You like to humiliate me!"

"I know!"

"Never mind" he shook his head and they kept looking through boxes.

"You know, Me and Novo loved to image growing old together and passing on the clan to Leah, I can only imagine how responsible she would be"

"Oh.. you're lucky you even have a close bond with your daughter"

"Really? I thought you and Light were close?"

"We aren't.. I'm surprised we're even able to talk.. We can't see eye to eye on everything, hell.. I had to make a deal with her saying if you, Raph, Mikey and Donnie hated me, we could go back to Japan and forget about all of you.."

"You two must have something in common!"

"Nothing.. She's such a daddy's girl, she can talk to him with no problems and I can't have one conversation with her without us arguing.."

"I wouldn't call that being a daddy's girl... I call that being just like you"

"Really?"

"Mmm hmm!"

"Aww"

"You hate it, huh?"

"With a passion"

"Well, let's keep looking, maybe you'll find something embarrassing about Raph and show Haley!"

"Aww, you remembered that my day always gets better when I mess with any of you!"

"Of course I do, I can never forget when you showed Novo my baby pictures" he shook his head and continued helping Karai look through Splinter's old things.

They laughed at some of the pictures until they heard the teenagers shout.

"WHAT THE HELL/HECK IS PROM?!"

"Welp, looks like we need to cut this shor.. Karai, you did say when your mom died, Father never found her wedding ring.. right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Then.. why do I see this?" He said, picking up a small red box and showed it to her.

"I... I don't know, maybe there's a necklace in here or a bracelet! Maybe even a watch"

"Only one way to find out" he opened the box and there was no bracelet, necklace or watch in there. The only thing in there was an engagement ring.

"What the hell?!" She screamed and fell backwards.

"Ow!"

"Are you okay?!"

"I should be asking you that!"

"Look, this could be a misunderstanding! Father didn't have any other woman in his life!"

"Exactly, but Father and your mother were married when they had you! Right?"

"Yes!"

"So.."

"Look, let's just focus on what the girls need, okay? We can figure this out later"

"Good idea, kids! What's wrong?" he asked, walking over to them.

"Dad, Remus and Nymph are going to a school dance called the Spring Fling and Uncle Mikey just compared it to prom and we don't know what that is!"

"Well, prom is also a school dance but the difference is.. prom is only for like Seniors, it's their last high school dance before they graduate, Spring Fling is your version of prom until you all actually have one."

"Oh, I'm not going!" Leah and Aubrey said, as they sat down.

"Why not?"

"Number One! I don't have a date, and Number two! Aubrey, is to innocent for that"

"Akemi's just as innocent, but she's going and dragging me with her," Light told them.

"Yeah, I don't have a date and I don't want one!"

"But that's you, I have my reasons for not going and if you guys want to go, Go! But I'm not dancing alone feeling sorry for myself" Leah walked away and closed her bedroom door.

"Um.. mama's taking us to look at dresses, did anyone wanna come?"

"Yeah!" Aubrey, Ray, and Sera shouted.

"Yay!"

"Um.. do you wanna go talk to Leah and I'll grab Raph, Haley, Donnie and Mikey to show them.. what we found?"

"Yeah, I know what's bugging her"

"Okay, hey dorks!!" she shouted and walked away from him, with the box.

Leo took a deep breath and walked over to Leah's room and gently knocked on the door.

"What is it?"

"It's me, you're dad! Can I come in?"

"If it's about the school dance, I'm not going"

"Leah, is this about Andrew-!"

"It's not about Andrew! Why would I go to a dance if my best friend is gonna ignore me?"

"Look, that's what'll happen, are you really that upset he's ignoring you for his girlfriend?"

"It's not because of Nymph, he's been acting weird around all of us for a while! He cancels our hangouts, he misses patrols... He avoids seeing us at school and when he does he acts so weird about it"

"Um.. we may know why he's acting like that, just.. look the next time you see him, corner him and ask him to come down to the lair with his mom.. sometime before all of you go to the Spring Fling, maybe we can fix whatever happened between all of you"

"Okay but I'm not wearing a dress"

"Deal-!"

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"And.. that's my cue to go"

Leah giggled and looked at the fabric she had on the floor, she got a fun idea.

"So.. I can only assume you all saw the ring.. right?"

"Leo... What. The. Absolute. Hell."

"We just found it! Karai and I were looking through Splinter's old stuff and we found that!"

"Aww, Dad fell in love again!" Mikey chuckled.

"Mikey, save being happy for later.. but, who did he even fall in love with, how did he manage to make time for them, hell, how did he even meet them!"

"Are they even still alive?"

"Dorks!" Haley shouted, "Does it even matter? This means that Yoshi was happy!"

"It matters because we wanna meet them!"

"Yeah.. all of us got closure after he died, I doubt they did"

"Yeah but arguing about this seems pointless"

"Yeah, you're right.. I think the better question is how are we gonna find them and tell them?"

"Do what I did when I wanted to beat up criminals, look it up!"

"Babe, I doubt it'll be that simple"

Haley gave him a look, "Are you doubting me?"

".. so any ideas on where we should look first?"

"Bottom!"

"Shut the hell up Snakey!"

"Look at his phone, babe! That is if you know his password"

"Let me look for it"

"Okay, no one laugh!" Leah yelled from her room.

"Why would we?"

"Just say you won't laugh!"

"We won't!"

"Okay" Leah inhaled deeply and stepped out of her room, she was wearing a handmade blue sparkling pantsuit that had a skirt surrounding the back half of the pants and a black lace scarf.

"Wow"

"What? Does it look good?"

"Damn"

"What are you all staring at..." Leo looked at Leah, dropping Splinter's old phone and stared in amazement at his daughter.

"Dad? You okay?"

"You look so beautiful"

"No I don't, I just pieced this together!"

"Yes you do!"

"Seriously, you look good!"

"I do?"

"Yes you do!"

"Okay, maybe I do look nice but don't tell the oth-!" Leah looked up and saw the others staring at her. "Damn it"

"Lele, you look so pretty!!"

"Damn Princess, you look good!"

"Leah, I don't think I have ever seen you dressed like that b-before!"

"You look pretty Lele!"

"Aww, girls"

Light scoffed and looked away from her but gave her a thumbs up.

"Thanks Light"

The next day at school

"Mus?" Nymphadora asked, walking over to her boyfriend in the library.

"Yes honey?"

"What's wrong? You have been acting strange"

"Strange how?"

Nymph realized he was staring at Leah, Aubrey, Ray, and Sera who were studying on the other side of the library.

"It's about them!"

"Mmm hmm.. remember that secret I told you?"

"Yeah about how you're a mutant and you don't know who your dad is... Oh, he's related to them, isn't he?"

"Ding, ding, ding.. mom finally told me about him and I want to tell them but it's not an easy thing to say, so.."

"You gotta tell them!"

"How exactly am I supposed to tell them that?"

"How exactly are you supposed to tell us what Mus?"

"Dah!!!" The two lovebirds screamed, as the team snuck up behind them.

"Um.."

"H-Hey girls" Nymph chuckled nervously.

"What are you two hiding from us."

"Um"

"Remus, It's me" Leah tried to grab his arm but he swatted her away.

"It.. I don't know how to tell you girls, I really don't"

"You don't wanna be friends with us anymore..?"

"No, I still want to be friends with all of you, it's complicated!"

"Last I check, friends don't keep secrets from each other!"

"Oh, you're one to talk! You fell in love with the enemy and didn't even bother to tell us!"

"Why are you and Ray still holding onto that?! I'm done with him! You on the other hand, avoid us 24/7, and apparently, you can keep secrets from us but not from your girlfriend, what the hell?!"

"Don't bring her into this!"

"See! Exactly my point! You would leave us to rot over her, I know you wanna be loyal but at least I didn't ditch my friends every single time! Say it! Say you don't wanna be our friend anymore!"

"What is going on over there?! You two, go to the principal's office, now." A teacher shouted, pointing at Remus and Leah.

Leah sighed and started walking to the Principal's office, looking away from him.

10 minutes later and both their parents were in the Principal's office

"What happened this time?!"

"Dad, it was just an argument... Between me and... Mr.Davenport." She hissed and turned away from Remus.

"Oh dear god."

"I'll let you four handle this and we won't have to put them in detention." The Principal said, walking away from them and closing the door.

Leah ignored Remus, even though he was trying to talk things through with her but she was stubborn.

Leo sat back, watching both of them try to talk things through and he kept looking through Splinter's old phone, until he found his pictures. He looked through the pictures and finally found a picture of the woman. Now, he had to find her.

"Remus, friends don't keep secrets... I'm young but I'm not that stupid."

"The secret was about my dad, alright. Someone finally told me about him but apparently, there's more than I thought."

Leah looked at him, "I know what it's like to not know about your parent... If you don't wanna tell me, I understand but I need you here, as my second in command and best friend, okay?"

"Okay-!"

"Where did you find that picture?"

"Huh?" The two teens asked confused.

"So, you do know who this is?"

"Yeah, that's me.. where did you find it?"

"Well.. um"

Thankfully, the principal came back into the room at this time, saving Leo from an awkward situation.

"So, did we smooth things over?"

"Yeah"

"Good, now get back to class! I don't want anymore trouble especially from you two"

"Okay"

"Um.. how about you come over with Remus later today? Maybe we can figure this out"

"I'd like that"

Aubrey was sitting at the lunch table, by herself. She was eating her lunch while waiting for the others.

"Hey Curly!" Phillip and Lena said in usion, sneaking up behind her.

"Dah!!"

"Sorry, nerd! But you looked lonely"

"Aww, well I'm waiting for the others to come to lunch, wanna join me?"

"Yeah!"

"Yay!"

Aubrey was eating her lunch which was strange in itself, it was a traditional Mexican lunch dish.

"Um, Aubrey?"

"Hmm?"

"What's Tony doing?"

"What do you mean-!"

"Look!"

Aubrey looked up but then immediately got confetti shoved in her face.

"What the?"

She looked up and saw everyone else in the lunch room staring at her. Then she saw Tony, walking over to her holding a giant teddy bear with a poster that said Will you go to Prom with me?

"I request this say Spring Fling but Serafina insisted on the Prom"

"I.. I"

"Bunty, can you please answer me?" He didn't want to pressure her but then she started crying and shaking like a leaf.

"I.. I'm s-sorry" she squeaked out and ran away from everyone else.

"Aubrey!" Phillip and Tony shouted.

"Well.. what did we just walk into?"

"A promposal gone wrong"

"Oh"

"Bunty, wait!" Tony shouted and ran after her.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry" She choked on her tears.

"Hey, hey.. It's okay, it's okay"

Tony held her close, letting her sob into his chest but what made it more unique is that... He didn't have a heartbeat for her to listen to, it was hollow.

"A-are you m-mad at me?"

"Of course not, I'm more angry at myself for allowing Serafina to talk me into that"

"D-don't be too mad at her.. It was a nice idea"

"It was, I like going shopping for teddy bears. It reminds me of your stuffed animal collection" He chuckled.

"Aww.. yes"

"I thought scientists were supposed to be mature" He teased, making her turn red.

"M-maybe this one j-just wants to have fun.. with someone I.. like"

"So do I, but I can't... I have to protect them, before my siblings find me..." He stared at her, opening up to her.

".. how about we stay for half and.. we can sneak away from t-the others?"

"I like that idea, Bunty" He chuckled and moved her hair out of her face, "You know something that vampires hate?"

"No.. what is it?"

"We hate sad adorable little foxes" He teased, making Aubrey giggle.

"I-Is that true?"

"No but, I'm my own kind of vampire, Bunty"

"Aww"

What the two didn't know is that Phillip was hiding behind a bush, listening to their conversation.

"A vampire? Just when I thought this year can't get crazier." he said to himself and walked away.

At the lair, Haley was looking at the family photos, reminiscing old times.

"Aww, look at these.. I can't believe they kept them"

"Hey Fox!" Casey yelled as he walked into the lair.

"Hey Jones, how's your day"

"Um... I got fired-"

"YOU WHAT?!" She screamed, steam came out of her hair which was bad because she was supposed to be remaining calm to not cause any panic attacks.

"It was over a stupid Karen, who said I hurt her! When I didn't touch her and my manager said that, the customer's always right and fired me. And I'm getting f**king sued!! So there!"

"Casey... How are we gonna pay rent. You were the only one working while I looked for jobs! Let me guess, Raph doesn't know?!"

"Of course he doesn't! I just told you, look, I can find a new job, so stop screaming at me like a banshee for sh** I can't control!" He shouted, dropped the bags at her feet and left.

"I just wanted a nap.. What happened?"

"Nothing, I can handle it" Haley picked up her phone and called someone.

"O..kay, see ya-!"

"I think I found them!!" Leo shouted as he came running into the lair.

"Huh?"

"Sir, what do you mean?" Coral asked, taking off his coat.

"Um, I.. may have found the woman Father was dating before he died"

"Perfect! Who?"

"Yeah, who is it?"

"Um.. Remus's mom-!"

"Dad!"

"Yes?"

"Remus and his mom are coming for dinner"

"Perfect.. Can you put up with Light again?"

"Only if I can bring out Captain Ryan"

"Deal"

Almost 10 minutes later

"Mom, can you show off your mutation this time?"

"Hmm.. maybe"

"Yay!"

"Remus!!" They looked up and saw Leah standing on top of a manhole cover.

"Hey Lele!"

"Hey, Ms.Davenport"

"Hi Leah"

"Come on! We'll be there in 5 minutes!" Leah opened the manhole cover and jumped inside.

"Wait up!" He shouted and followed after her. Zoey just shook her head and followed after them.

"Jones, come here." Haley said.

"Why? Are you trying to kill me."

"No, I got you a job as a waiter at that fancy restaurant in the west village! You will be working right next to Ray since she works there part-time"

"I.. oh"

"Don't think much of it-" He hugged her.

"Thank you and.. I'm sorry for snapping"

"No problem, just... yell at me like that again and my husband will be the least of your worries."

"Noted"

"Leo, why were you spam calling us?" Karai asked, walking into the lair, holding Solaris's hand.

"Okay, we have guest coming over and I need you to promise that you won't freak out"

"I.. won't?"

"Okay, the woman and her son are coming over and she was Father's old flame-"

"She was? How did you even find her?"

"Well-!"

"Dad! We're here!"

"Just.. when you turn around, please don't scream"

"I.. won't? Why.."

"Just don't okay?"

"I won't!"

"Good, now slowly turn around"

"Okay then.."

Karai immediately saw Zoey and Remus, she nearly had a heart attack.

"Oh no"

"Love, it's alright"

"I.. I know, um.. can we go into the kitchen please?"

"Of course"

"Okay" she said and walked away.

"Oh we're gonna need so much alcohol.." Donnie mumbled.

"Agreed"

"I thought you didn't drink, Nerd!" Raph teased.

"Shut the hell up Hothead bastard, I'm running on barely an hour of sleep or do you want me to take half your damn vodka."

"Donnie relax, is it the curse driving you nuts again?" Leo asked, handing him a glass of wine.

"Nope, I just wanted to sleep, I didn't get my sleep and this dinner will be intense so.. I wanna be prepared"

"It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I'm alive, right?" Haley asked.

"Nope"

"Um.. is she okay?" Zoey asked and gestured to the kitchen where Karai went.

"Give her a minute! Zoey, I would like you to meet Haley, Ray's mother"

"Oh, hello Haley"

"Hey Zoey, nice to meet ya"

"Nice to meet you too"

"Yes, I think I'm okay," Karai said and walked over to the others. ".. hi"

"Mother, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine.. I'm okay"

"Love, take it easy"

"Okay" she said and sat down next to them.

"So, we heard you work as a doctor! You must have some interesting stories!"

"Yeah, I do, some say I have too many"

"Can you tell us some, Remus' mom!" Sera asked.

"Sure, um.. my personal favorite is when this pregnant woman comes in with her husband, I helped them give birth and the baby looked nothing like the dad! The dad takes one look at the baby and says 'I had a vasectomy.'"

"Oh man!"

"There's more! Once the family starts coming in, the husband's brother says 'aww, look at my kid!' Normally, I don't like screaming matches in the presence of mama and her baby, but that day, I just let it play out and.. both of them had to stay in the hospital due to both of them breaking each other's d**ks"

"Oh dang!"

"T-That sounds painful"

"They said it hurts like hell, I just said, I can see that and walked away"

"Wow"

"You're job sounds interesting Ms.Davenport"

"Aww, thank you, some days it is and some aren't"

"So.. what about outside your job?"

"Meaning?"

"Do you have any hobbies, friends... relationships?"

"I mostly read and I've stayed in touch with a few friends from high school but, I'm not married and I'm not in a relationship right now"

"But... Remus does have a father"

"Dad!"

".. that's right but.."

"I'm sorry if it's personal but Remus doesn't seem to talk about him"

".. because I could never find him to tell him.. so anytime he asked, I just.. called him a sperm donor.. why are you all so curious?"

"Well.."

"Okay! Dinner is ready!" Haley said, trying to defuse the situation.

"Yeah, w-who's hungry?" Casey said, trying to help her.

"ME!!!"

"Mmm hmm!"

"Okay, come on!"

"We're coming"

Coral was setting the table and she got Zoey's attention.

"Pardon me, Ma'am?"

".. huh?"

"You have been staring at me for a few minutes, are you alright?"

".. I'm okay, I'm sorry I was staring"

"It's alright! Please, sit down"

"Okay" she said quietly and sat down at the table.

Everyone walked into the kitchen and sat down, quietly. They started to eat quietly, until the silence became unbearable.

"Nerdette! Are you and Tony going to the Spring Fling together?"

"Y-Yeah, we are!"

"Aww!"

"W-What about y-you, Ray? Are you going with someone?"

"Nah, I'm good"

"This is Ray, we're talking about! We will be lucky if she finds someone to treat her like a little princess" Remus teased.

"Oh shut it!"

"Make me!"

Leah and Sera started dying of laughter as Ray tried to strangle Mus with Aubrey holding her back.

"Light, what about you?"

"What about me?"

"Are you going with someone?"

"I have to supervise the cinnamon roll, that's my slightly younger sister, do you think I'll have time to entertain some guy too?"

"No offense, Light but Akemi is your cousin and I understand! I will be supervising Aubrey and Sera because they have dates too"

"I know she's my cousin, but we call each other sister from time to time and.. I actually got a date"

"Are you kidding me? Now I might have to dance with Ray" Leah rolled her eyes and that made Ray gag.

"Who even asked you out? And how are they still breathing?"

"Hayden, he's a boy from History class"

"Light, don't murder that night" Solaris said, making it clear that there will not be any bloodshed.

"That goes for you too honey, when you meet her date, unless you don't wanna have our own fun"

"Yes, my love"

"Good"

Zoey looked over at Remus and saw he was showing Leah some photos from their last hang out.

"Aww"

"Oh, sorry! Was I interrupting?" Leah asked.

"No, your okay"

"Leah, let them eat" Leo said, gesturing that she sits back next to him.

"But dad, what was that conversation earlier about?"

"It's a conversation between adults"

"Well you never told us to leave the adults alone so.."

"Leah, Please. You're father has a lot of things on his mind right now"

"Bu.. fine."

"Um.. Leo, you were asking me about a picture earlier?"

"Yeah, I know it's awkward but that phone was my father's old phone"

".. it was?"

"Yeah, our father passed before my daughter's mother, as well as Serafina and Aubrey-Rose's"

".. can I see the picture?"

"Of course but before that, teens? Can you give the adults a few minutes?"

"O.. kay?"

The teenagers left the kitchen but they started eavesdropping on the adults.

"Here" he said and gave her his old phone.

"You can start explaining"

".. you know how I said I have many stories from working as a doctor?"

"Yeah," The Hamato siblings and friends exclaimed.

".. that's how I met him, he.. came into the hospital with some broken ribs and a broken ankle and I was one of the doctors who helped treat him.. He seemed nice and when I wasn't busy, I visited his room and we talked."

"Aww, that's so cute" Mikey grinned.

"Yeah.. when he was discharged, he left me a note in the hospital bed that said thank you for being so kind to stay with me the entire day. I would like to see you again, with his number at the bottom." she continued, a small smile forming.

"Dad always cared about people, it's what made a good dad," Raph said, leaning back in his chair.

"So, we started to talk, meet up more and.. He asked me out to dinner, I said yes.. I got pretty, which is rare in my family, he got dressed up too and he took me to this zen garden like area near the lake with a picnic there.. and I loved every moment"

"I guess we know where Donnie gets his romantic ideas from," Karai teased.

"Oh shut up!"

"Now.. how did you find out he was a mutant? Or did he tell you?"

"I'm getting to that! So.. a few months to almost a year-!"

"ALMOST A YEAR?!"

"NO WAY!"

"THAT LONG?!"

"THAT HAS TO B.. WHY DIDN'T HE SAY ANYTHING?!"

"HE HID IT FOR THAT LONG, HOW?!"

"Don't ask me, like I said, between a few months and a year passed, he came over, we watched movies, we kissed, which turned into making out, which turned into me waking up and he's right next to me in his mutant form"

"Wait, so what happened between the time they made out and when they woke up?" Sera whispered, innocently.

"They were f-" Ray got cut off.

"RAY! Don't say that!" Leah shouted, trying to cover her mouth.

"Um.. continue, please?"

"Yeah.. I woke first and I saw his mutant form, like any sane person would, they would scream at the top of their lungs and run away.. I just looked at him and I started to grin.. Because I could finally show him my mutation.. He woke up a few minutes later and also almost panicked but he saw my mutant form.. He just hugged me and we cuddled the rest of the morning"

"Okay, this is getting too cute for me!" Haley said, she sat up straight and grabbed a bottle of vodka.

"But not for me, aww!!" Mikey grinned.

"Didn't know Father was such a romantic"

"I know"

"He did tell me about all of you, in reality I was supposed to come here and meet all of you.. He even asked me to and I wanted to say yes but.. I guess my own fairytale was coming to life and I needed to snap out of it for like two days because it wasn't honeymoon time.. But he understood and said whenever I was ready, he would show me.. He kissed me again and left.."

"Then, how did you find out you were pregnant with Remus?"

"I found out at work actually, I got sick, my interns and a few of my coworkers got worried, so they ran a few tests, everything came back negative, except for the pregnancy test.. I was so happy, and I wanted to tell him, so I started calling him.. and each and every time I called, there was no answer.. plus I didn't know how to find the lair so that I could tell him in person so I planned on waiting until the next day.. Later that night, I tried going to sleep but I saw him in my dream.. That's when I said, surprise, I'm pregnant.. The next words that fell out of his mouth were, I'm sorry.. and I woke up.."

"... This fairytale just took a dark turn" Haley handed her a glass of wine.

"Haley, why?"

"A glass of wine helps any tired mom, I've been here for a few months and I went through all the bottles in the kitchen"

"Not what I meant.. Is there anything else?"

".. since I couldn't go back to sleep, I took a walk.. I walked past a graveyard and saw Karai sitting near one of the graves.. what he said in my dream makes sense now.."

Haley walked next to her and side hugged her, "I'm not good with words as you can see but an old friend told me hugs are the best type of medicine"

"Aww.." she hugged back, smiling sadly.

"Zoey, will it help if you come by more often? I want Leah to know more about her family and also I don't wanna overwork Coral"

".. yeah, I think it'll help quite a bit"

"Good!"

"DOES THAT MEAN WE HAVE A GRANDMA NOW?!" Sera shouted, which earned a lot of shushes from the others.

"Kids!!"

"Sorry!!"

"Does this mean we finally have a mom?!"

"Mikey!"

"Well.. dad did want to marry her"

"Wait what?"

"We found this in his room, that's kinda what started all this" Leo pulled out the box and handed it to her.

She opened the box and looked at the ring. "Oh my.."

"If he would've asked, what would you have said?"

"I.. would've said yes"

Leo smiled, "I'm not gonna force you to wear it if you don't want to but can you try it on?"

"Yeah, I'll try it on" she said and took the ring out and put it on her finger. ".. it's a little big but.. I like it"
