Aubrey landed on her bed, scrolling through her phone.

"Phillip, Tony... I don't know, why is being in high school so difficult?!"

"Nerdette? You okay?"

"Ep!! What are you doing in my r-room?!"

"Nothing, I got bored and I heard you talking to yourself so I came to bother you"

"R-Ray!"

"What? What's wrong?"

"Ugh... I wish my mother was here, she would help me figure out this mess"

"You could just call one of our aunts for relationship advice"

"No, they're busy... Maybe I can figure this out by watching Sera's weird romantic comedies"

"Yeah, no"

"You're not really helping either, I know you have that whole men are stupid mojo"

"I was gonna say just, oh i dunno, talk to the only one of our friends that has a mom, ask their mom for advice on men."

"I will, can you tell papa I'll be back in a little bit?"

"Sure, see ya later"

Aubrey walked out of the lair, she started thinking about what she was gonna say until she heard Phillip and Lena, screaming for help.

"What the?!"

"Put us down!!"

Aubrey looked over into an alleyway and they were being mugged by a group of thugs.

"Hey!! Get off them!"

The thugs turned over to Aubrey and in a span of 10 minutes, the thugs ran away and Aubrey, Phillip, and Lena were all bruised but Phillip had a broken nose.

"Are you two okay?!"

"My arm popped out of the socket!" Lena shouted.

"I have a broken nose," Phillip said, holding his head up.

"Oh no"

Aubrey pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts, "I can't call papa or else he'll never let me out of the lair" She thought, until she found someone that can surely help.

"Perfect!" She started calling and the phone finally answered, "Aunt April? Can you pick me and my friends up... we got into trouble..."

"Yeah, are you and your friends okay?!"

"Um... Let's just say we might need a doctor..."

"Oh no, i'll be right there"

"T-Thank you"

An hour has passed and the three teens were in April's apartment, knocked out on the couch and covered in bandages.

"I'm sorry we have to cancel, maybe we could try again some other time?"

"That's no problem, see you next time"

"See you" she said and hung up the phone.

"Please don't call papa... He'll never let me out of the lair again"

"Hey, I won't call him, but you three should probably see an actual doctor"

"There is someone but she's probably busy"

"Who's that?"

"Remus's mom"

"You can always try"

"Can you try and find her? Please..." She slowly passed out.

"I'll try," she said and sighed quietly.

April then dialed a number of the hospital she works at, "Hi, can I please talk to Dr.Davenport?"

"Hold on a moment"

"Okay... Come on, Aubrey! Stay awake, kiddo"

"Hello?"

"Hi, This is April O'Neil from channel 6 news and I need your help, you might know my niece, Aubrey-Rose"

"Yeah, I know her, did something happen to her?"

"Can you just come to my apartment? It might be easier to explain in person"

"Sure, what's your address again?"

April gave her the address then waited for her to arrive, which didn't take long surprisingly.

"April?"

"Dah!!" She nearly dropped her phone.

"Sorry! Where are they?"

"Over here" She let her inside and led her to the couch.

"What happened to them?"

"They got mugged, they didn't lose their stuff but they did but up a fight"

"I see.. I'm gonna have to push his nose back in place, can you hold his head?"

"Of course!" April held his head, "Aubrey didn't want me to call her dad, he's a little overprotective about who she hangs out with"

"Oh, I'll bet.. 1, 2, 3" she counted and pushed Phillip's nose back in place.

Phillip screamed a little and held onto the couch, then relaxed.

"Ow!"

"Sorry, just hold on a second"

"Can you call mi mamá? She's probably worried sick"

"Sure, just write down her phone number and I'll call it" she told him as she finished putting gauze on his bruises.

"Okay" He pulled out a piece of paper with her number on it.

"Thank you" she said and started calling the number. As the phone kept ringing and the number went straight to voicemail, she started treating Lena.

"Don't call anyone! My foster parents don't give a damn about me!"

"Let me guess, they'll give a sh** when they aren't getting paid anymore, huh?"

"Whatever, you put my arm back!" She growled and looked away.

"Then how are you gonna explain to your foster family when you come home wrapped up in bandages."

"They don't care as long as I'm still breathing so they can get their paychecks and waste it on booze and dr**s."

"Lena, why don't you stay at my place tonight?" April offered.

"... You're not worried I'm gonna ruin your reputation?"

"What reputation?"

"You're the famous April O'Neil! The highest paying reporter in New York!"

"And?"

"I'm not a burden to ya?"

"Of course you aren't!"

"Okay, fine! You're twisting my arm but fine"

"Good!"

During all of this, Zoey finished wrapping her up with bandages and finished wrapping Aubrey up.

"Phillip, I'm sorry, I keep getting voicemail"

"Mama, it's okay! I know you have to work double shifts to pay rent"

"Do I have to pay for any medicine? Anything like that?"

"No, The doctor who helped me has it covered"

"Oh, Gracias a Dios! And you're friends?"

"We're fine, I'll see you at home"

"Aubrey? Wake up"

Aubrey still didn't wake and the bags under her eyes became more noticeable.

"Okay, Phillip, do you have a way to get home?"

"Yeah, I have change for the subway"

"Good, um.. what about Aubrey?"

"Oh, she's gonna hate me but I might have to call her dad" April said.

"And you can't call any other of her family members?"

"Her mom... passed on, I don't know much about her mother's family but I'll call them"

"I would've wanted to take her back to my house but her dad will also lose it if he finds out"

April took Aubrey's phone but before she could call Sundrop, Donnie burst through the door.

"Aubrey?!"

"Damn! You got a tracker on her?!" April jumped back and threw her tessen at him.

"Ow! Yes, I do!"

"Well, don't barge into my apartment and expect me not to throw my weapon at you!"

"Sorry! Sorry! But why's she he" He started then saw her injuries. Which then made him lose it. "What happened?!"

"Okay, you are going to laugh so hard-" Donnie saw Phillip and Lena and immediately knew they were the bad kids of the schools.

"What did you two do to her?!" He shouted and tried to get closer for them, only for Zoey to get in between all of them.

"Sir, you need to calm down, they didn't do anything to her."

"Yeah, she jumped into the fight!" Lena said then immediately regretted it.

"Jumped into a fight?! Were you two the ones fighting?!"

"No old... sir, we were getting roughed up by a couple gang members, she jumped in and stopped them" Phillip explained

".. she did?"

"Yeah, Curly isn't as fragile as her friends think she is," Lena scoffed.

".. no, she isn't.. I'm so sorry for getting angry at the both of you"

"We get it, Curly is special"

"She is, that's why I think it's best if she stays out of public school"

"Excuse me?"

"Oh no.." April mumbled to herself.

"It's nothing personal, she's just already have put in harm's way before she met the two of you"

"Oh"

"But, if I can be convinced that she can be safe I might reconsider" He picked her up and walked out of the apartment.

The next morning, everyone else was eating breakfast

April ran into the lair, "DONATELLO!!! You can't say you'll pull your daughter out of school then leave!"

Donnie started chuckling then spat out his elixir, "YOU ACTUALLY BOUGHT THAT?!" He started cackling.

"THAT WAS A JOKE?!"

"The f**k did y'all get into last night and can I get some?"

"Of course it was, why would I "The nerd" pull out his daughter from school when I already knew she could take care of herself!"

"You can't say stuff like that!!" April shouted and started hitting him with her tessen.

"Um..?"

"April, I am 39 years old, I have a curse, so I deserve a little fun"

April did nothing but grumble silently.

"Besides, what's the harm?" Spikes puffed up on his arms and shoulders.

"Just drink your elixir, dork"

Donnie chuckled and drank his elixir, "Calm down, they'll get the joke"

"O..kay then.. I need to get going" Leah said.

"Have fun, Lele! Remember, come home by 10 pm"

"I will"

"Well, I'm going to the library with Tony to catch up on some studying," Aubrey explained.

"I'm gonna go to the shooting range" Ray said, as she shoved a glock in her bag.

"I'm still surprised your letting her have that"

"She's grown, besides Haley had ten different types of guns" Raph explained, his smile faded as he thought about her mother.

"That's right, she did"

"I'm going to the movies!"

"Have fun, Don't forget to smuggle in snacks!"

"I won't!"

"And yet you're worried about my daughter having a gun!" Raph chuckled and looked at his reflection, "Heh, I've changed"

"I had a little run in with Andrew yesterday" Remus told Leah as they were walking around the museum.

Leah froze in her steps, "What."

"I ran into Andrew yesterday"

"Oh. What did he want."

"He.. kinda.. assumed we were dating.." he said with his voice getting progressively quieter and quieter.

Leah inhaled deeply, "He did?"

"Mmm hmm.."

"Oh..."

"Are you okay? Did you wanna talk about someone else?"

"Yeah, let's just enjoy the day"

"Okay! Ooh, look at that"

"Whoa!!"

"Mother, why are we here?"

"Because you need to go out more often"

"Why? The world is full of boring people!"

"I beg to differ"

"You've gotta be kidding.." Leah mumbled to herself.

Light and Leah made eye contact and they both looked at each other, in disgust.

"Oh today will be fun!"

"Today's gonna be torture" they said to each other.

Ray walked into the shooting range, she ignored everyone's disgusted stares as she pulled out her glock.

"Aren't you too young to be here?"

"Aren't you too old to have a stick shoved up you're a$$?"

"Look little girl, I'm not trying to get in trouble with the police for letting a 13 year old practice shooting! So do me a favor and go to the playground and be a child and not act grown."

"First of all, I'm 15. Second of all, if you don't leave me the hell alone, you might just become my next target." Ray smiled evilly.

"Is that a threat?!"

"It's a promise. Good day." Ray walked away.

"Get back here!!"

"You're not my mom." She flipped them off and pulled out her gun.

"I'm calling the police!"

"Call 'em!! I'll let them know that you're harassing me."

"How am I harassing you?!"

"Because I'm here to meet my uncle, so legally I can shoot as long as I am accompanied by an adult."

".. fine."

Ray walked over to Casey, "Sup Old man" she put her bag down.

"Hey mini hothead, come on, we're doing the one outside this time"

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"Why? We usually do it inside!"

"It's nice out"

"Fine! Let's do this"

"Ooh, they have a lot of snacks"

Sera scanned each one and was about to grab one when a boy her age grabbed the same one.

"Hey, you like these too!"

"Yeah" The boy grabbed the snacks, "But these are mine!" and made a run for it.

"Hey!! Get back here!"

"No way!"

"Come on, give them back!"

"No!" Sera jumped onto his back, and his hood fell off to show off his black hair.

"Ow! What was that.."

"I'm so sorry! But I wanted those snacks!" Sera said.

"No, it's okay! I'm sorry for taking them, you had them first"

"No, I'm sorry for jumping on you!"

"It's okay.. how about we share?"

Sera smiled and nodded, "I'm Sera by the way!"

"I'm Ryland"

"Oooh!! I'm gonna call you Ry-Ry!"

"Okay, Sera" he chuckled.

The two of them walked into the theater and smuggled in their favorite snacks.

"See Tony"

"Oh my, thank you Aubrey"

"You're welcome!"

"So... Phillip"

"I only tutor him but.. he could be one of our friends"

"A friend?"

"Yeah, like me and you!"

"Do you see him as more than a friend?"

"No, why?"

"Oh."

"Is something wrong Tony?"

"No, Nothing is wrong... I'm just worried about you"

"Really? Why"

"What will happen if you and him get too close? He hasn't seen you're mutant form"

"I.. I'm not sure"

"If you two get together, I will be happy no matter what"

"Oh, okay"

Tony smiled but deep inside he was in pain, he wanted to be with Aubrey but her happiness came before his.

"Well, at least we can all agree on ice cream," Karai said, eating her ice cream.

Light ate her Ice Cream whole while giving Leah a death glare, Leah ate her sundae giving Light a death glare as well.

"Mother, can we go watch a roller derby match?"

"Depends on what time it starts"

"Starts in an hour. But I have to get changed."

"We'll leave in 10 minutes"

"Fine."

"That movie was fun!"

"Yeah!! We should hang out more often, Ry-Ry"

"Yeah, we should! Um.. can I get your number?"

"Sure!"

"Yay!!"

"Raph, I said, I'm sorry!"

"What the hell did you even say to her?!"

"I said and I quote, calm down before you shoot someone! And just like you, she didn't take that too well!!"

"I should've shot you in the head!!!" Ray screamed.

"Well go ahead Ray!! My head is your new target!!"

Ray actually almost shot him in the head, he didn't actually think she would do it.

"Sh**!!! Ray, stop!!"

"You said you were my new target! So stay still so I won't miss!"

"How about you learn how to shoot a moving target!!" Casey shouted as he started running the hell away from a mini Raph who had a gun.

"Tony, this was fun!"

"Agreed, can we do this again?"

"Yeah, maybe we can choose a different setting"

"Like where?"

"Maybe, the park?"

"Oh yeah! That sounds fun!"

"Wonderful!" The two of them smiled at each other.

"See you later"

"Bye!!" Aubrey smiled and walked away.

"Help!!" They heard in the distance, until they saw Casey, running away from a pissed off Ray with a gun.

"Ray!! What are you doing?!"

"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!"
