AUSTIN MUSIC FEST: THE BEGINNING

Breakfast was served hot. Eggs, baloney and bacon with a side of fries and ketchup with sardines. My favorite food. I know it might sound disgusting but seriously it tastes like heaven. You should really try it out. Lizzy and Mum sat beside me as we ate. The room was silent until Mum spoke up. "Hey, so how's your memory", said Mum in a not so excited tone. "Its back", I replied. A look of disbelief shown on her face. I was so confused when she started to scream. She was certainly over joyous. I looked at Lizzy in question and she smiled. I thought Mum knew. I mean by now somebody should have told her (P.S: I meant Lizzy) I told her the whole story apart from, you know. The building fall, bag of cement incident. After I had cleared my very delicious food. I put it in the dish washer. At this time Lizzy and Mum were out of the kitchen doing their own things.

I left the kitchen shortly after breakfast. It was 7:00 am, 5 hours till the Austin Music Fest. I had to pack up my bags since Texas was a far place from Cincinnati.

I was in my room now, taking a final look at it. In a couple of hours I would be leaving home to become a legend.
I opened my wardrobe and took out my gold plated suitcase. It was so cheap. It just cost me my allowance. 1.2 million dollars. I opened my suitcase and the light emitting from it almost blinded me. I began to pack my stuff. I started from names of things which started with the letter A. It took me about 30 minutes to reach the letter z. My suitcase was so packed, I decided to stop. I already had enough luxuries. Take away the 4 iPhone Xs's in there. I went to Lizzy's room for my plane ticket. She was sitting on her huge, fluffy bed typing on her phone. I asked her for my plane ticket and she pointed to the dressing mirror. I swiped my ticket from the top of the mirror. I looked at the info on my ticket. First Class, Ohio airlines, flight number 1. This was a pretty good ticket.

_____________

I waited an hour for Lizzy and Mum to get prepared.

We got outside and Mum flashed out her new car. A 2019 BMW. Lizzy and Mum got in whilst I packed my luggage. When I was in the car, Mum turned on the engine and just like that we were off. I took one last look at the beautiful structure that now lay behind me. My home. I was leaving Cincinnati, where my umbilical cord was buried. Mum turned on the radio to enlighten us. The radio played high hopes by Panic! At the Disco.

We were about 2 hours until our arrival at the airport. My home now a haze behind us

We arrived at the airport at 10:00 am. We sat in line for 30 minutes until the announcer called on first class passengers. We got up and walked to the lady who checked the luggage. She scanned my luggage and when it was cleared put it on a moving belt. We showed her out tickets and after identification, got access unto the plane. The plane was not what I had expected. I expected the plane to be shining with gold and diamonds. But my perception was wrong. It was just like other planes but with a little more luxuries such as television screens, hot towels, and expensive food. etc You get the point. I walked towards a seat which looked pretty comfortable with a television screen which was located directly beside a huge window which would give me a great view when we were in the air. I took the seat immediately before anybody else did. Lizzy sat behind me and Mum took the seat beside me. I watched as the lady who had identified us brought my luggage into the plane. A flight attendant came out of the cock pit and told everyone to pit on their seatbelts. I put mine on and took out my new Samsung galaxy S10+ and earpiece out of my pocket. I put the earpiece into the jack and selected my playlist "Freaky 19". What could possibly go wrong? I had everything working out for me and I was gonna be the best dancer in the world. I just listened to music and fantasized about it. The plane started to set off of the tarmac on the runway and slowly ascended into the air. I looked through the window and as we flew higher, the ground became smaller and smaller until soon it looked like ants.

It had been five minutes since the plane set off and I was having the time of my life.
I checked my watch and it was 10:40 am and at the speed the plane was moving we would be there in less than 30 minutes

A busty yet sassy female flight attendant was moving through lanes with a trolley filled with snacks. She got to my seat.

"Would you like anything sir" she said in a flirtatious accent
"Yes, I would like something, give me a tray of those delicious nachos and a diet coke" I replied
"What about you Madam?" She said to my mum

My mum removed her shades and replied to the attendant

"Whatever my son had" she said in a snobby accent.

I could hear snores coming from the back row. A peculiar snore, one I could always identify, the snore of Lizzy. I looked back over my seat. The attendant was at her seat and called her many times but no response so she shrugged her shoulders and moved on to another passenger.
The food was delicious and appetizing. I leaned against my seat my belly protruded. A daunting wave flew over me and I closed my eyes shortly.

I woke up to a screaming voice going "Wake up". I reluctantly got up. "Come on, Kyle we're in Texas." I stretched as I took my luggage and dragged it out of the plane. We were now on the runway of an airport in Texas. We departed from the airport and took a cab. My mum told the driver to take us to The Austin Music Fest. He nodded his head in reply.

There was a huge traffic jam as we made our way to the Austin Music Fest. Lizzy checked her watch and told me that it was 11:50 am. We had ten minutes left to reach our destination and judging by the traffic, we would be there in a couple of hours. Our driver honked at other drivers. It was 11:54 now and we had not moved. It was obvious we were going to be late so I came to a decision. We were getting of the cab. I pulled a 50 dollar tip from my pocket and gave it to the driver who was busily cursing. We took our luggage out of the cab. I could see a lot of traffic a mile away. The commotion was caused by a flipped fire truck. Firemen were trying to flip the vehicle.  The Austin Music Fest was nowhere in view. I heard a whooshing sound and looked above as planes were moving straight forward. Three aligned jet planes. If we could get a plane we could make it in three minutes. I spoke the idea out to Mum and Lizzy. Lizzy smiled when I had finished my sentence.

"I know just the right person for the job" she said.

I could see a helicopter from a distance. It was moving at a fast rate.
A logo on the helicopter said 'Prototype Girl'. The helicopter hovered above us with two girls in it. Phyllis and Denise Ann also known as my sister's best friends. They were dressed in business suits. They waved at us and dropped down a ladder. I turned to Lizzy in shock and she began to climb up the ladder. I followed, then mum followed.

"Make way for queens of the sky" shouted Denise.

Plz vote, if you like it
