A few days later Y/N was on the Maretime Bay streets along with Pipp filming the scene as they were looking up into the air at Zipp who was doing multiple flight stunts starting with going through cloud hoops, then she began spinning around the Maretime Bay bridge before she stopped and flew back up into the air which made a few ponies cover their eyes before she jumped on the trampoline sending her flying into the sky before she went back down making dust appear before she slid towards her friends

"Wow! That was so cool!" Y/N said

"Thanks Y/N" Zipp thanked while blushing

After saying that the rest of Zipp's friends started to glare in jealousy before they shook it off as Pipp went in front of the camera she put up with her phone

"That's all Zippsters!" Pipp waved before singing her last line "Like and subscriiiiiibe!" Pipp suggested singingly

Zipp then went towards Pipp and glared at her which made Pipp turn to her sister

"Stop trying to make 'Zippsters' happen Pipp! I don't want followers!" Zipp ordered angrily

Zipp then pulls the camera down before she along with Pipp turned to Y/N

"Calm down Zipp, I know you don't want to and I accept that but that doesn't mean fans can't look at your stunts if you want that besides Pipp should've asked to film things before doing so" Y/N said

"Yeah, he's right Pipp!" Zipp said angrily

Pipp then sighed in defeat

"Alright then, Sorry Zipp, I'll watch out next time" Pipp said sadly

Y/N then approached her before putting a hoof on her shoulder and looking at Zipp

"So, who's down for some of Sunny's smoothies?" Y/N asked

"Me!" Pipp and Zipp called out

The trio then went to the smoothie stand where Sunny works and when they arrived they saw Hitch and Izzy there who just got some smoothies from Sunny

"And that's two pineapple punch smoothie with extra... Nothing" Sunny said worriedly turning to her empty baskets before back at their friends in worry "Sorry everypony, my fruit delivery was supposed to get here hours ago" Sunny apologized worriedly

Izzy was still unfazed as she gave Sunny some comfort

"I mean, you know what they say--- A late delivery is probably a safe one" Izzy said

Just then somepony was seen flying through the air and struggling to keep balance before Y/N had an idea because the pony was nearing it's crash only to get teleported to the ground because of Y/N making her smile

"Thanks Y/N, you always know how to make everypony safe" The delivery mare thanked

"No worries, anything for you, shall I bring everything inside for you then?" Y/N asked

"Of course not Y/N, I can handle it myself, still, thanks" The delivery mare thanked

"Uh, you forgot one line though" Y/N reminded

"Uh what?" The delivery mare asked before she realized something "Oh! Fifi's flying fruit smoothies smooth fruit delivery service! Where every delivery is smooth" Fifi said

"Right at the point miss!" Y/N cheered

Zipp then began chuckling a bit trotting to the center of the group

"Whoa, somepony really needs to teach these Pegasi how to fly" Zipp suggested

The New Mane Five then looked at Zipp with stars in their eyes before Pipp pulled Fifi towards her who also looked in awe

"Oh no-no-no-no-no! There's no way I would ever" Zipp started in worry

Y/N then approached her reassuringly

"Don't you worry Zipp, remember that you did some skills the last time in Zephyr Heights in secret, what if you learn everypony to do that" Y/N suggested

"But how, I don't have any experience flying!" Zipp said

"Excuse me! I've seen you flying far better than anypony else, have you seen anypony else do that too?" Y/N asked

After asking that Zipp looked around and saw more ponies crashing which made her sigh in defeat

"Fine but don't expect something talented coming from me" Zipp suggested

"Of course there will be and I'll help you with it" Y/N said

"Alright, let's do it!" Zipp said with a proud smile

A quick preparation later and the group was seen in the outskirts of Maretime Bay where Zipp and Y/N were standing on some sort of stage with their friends on both sides of them along with the first three learners in front of the stage looking at them with Zipp reading on a paper unenthusiastically which made Y/N worried

"Welcome to W-I-N-G-S, 'the wonderful institute of no gravity sky walking'" Zipp explained unenthusiastically

Y/N then turned to Zipp with a comforting smile while putting a hoof on her back

"Don't sweat it dudette, I know you don't wanna do this but how else would ponies keep learning to fly without crashing?" Y/N asked worriedly

Zipp who realized that sighed in defeat

"Yeah, you're right, I should learn them" Zipp answered

"Still, I don't know what that means" Y/N said in confusion

Pipp then zips onto the stage with a nervous smile

"It means flight school" Pipp said

"I was told it's an academy" Zoom explained

Fifi then came trotting towards the duo with her saddle bag around her neck

"Uh, is this the University of Flying?" Fifi asked

Zipp and Y/N then looked at Pipp in disbelief while Pipp blushed nervously before backing off before they turned to the rest of their friends who could only look in worry before being confused except for Hitch who chuckled nervously before Izzy turned to him in anger making him stop and shake his head

"Anyways" Y/N started before clearing his throat and stepping forward "Before we start let's make a few ground rules, the helmets and armors need to be removed because they can hurt ponies" Y/N said as Zoom and Thunder removed their armor "Next, saddlebags and carts are not allowed because they can hurt ponies or worse" Y/N said as Fifi removed her saddlebag and sends the cart away for a bit "Good, now any questions or concerns?" Y/N asked

Somepony then pulled up her hoof which made Y/N turn to them questionly

"Are there any daisies here, I'm highly terrified of them?" Windy asked

"I'm sure Izzy can handle that, so why don't you go with her to let her help you" Y/N suggested

"Really, you sure?" Windy asked

Izzy then pops up besides her

"Of course, I have a lot of daisy sock puppets so let me make a theatre with those two!" Izzy explained

Windy then looked at her in nervousness before Y/N turned to her

"And don't worry Windy, while she may be crazy she can definitely help you" Y/N explained

"If you guess so" Windy said

Windy and Izzy then trotted off as Zipp and Y/N turned to the rest of the students

"Alright, let the training begin!" Y/N announced

The screen then changed to the duo in an open field with Suunny, Pipp and Hitch tanding in front of the three fliers with ropes on their waists

"Alright, let's start with the basics" Y/N suggested

"Yes, there's also matresses over there in case you fall" Zipp suggested

"Yep, so all we want you to begin doing is flap your wings and slowly lift up into the air" Y/N suggested

The three then did so as Sunny, Pipp and Hitch watched and when they were fully off the ground they began moving side to side a bit as the other three pulled on the rope which made them steady

"Stay calm and focus on the wind in your hair" Zipp suggested

The three then took a deep breath before they felt the fresh air flowing through them making them fly straight

"Alright, good job guys, you're doing well" Y/N said

Afterwards Zipp motioned over to the three fliers to go down slowly which they did as they traveled on over to the parkour where Izzy and Windy then came

"We're done and we have some good news" Izzy said

"Really, what is it Izzy?" Zipp asked

"I don't think daisy's are scary now" Windy answered

"Wow! That's amazing! Well, why don't you two come with me, Zipp you handle the rest here?" Y/N asked

"Sure bud, will do" Zipp said

"Alright, then let's go girls" Y/N said

The trio then left and when they did Zipp turned to the three fliers

"Alright, I'll be showing you guys how to do this parkour and we'll do it slow and steady as Y/N would want" Zipp said

"Alright" Fifi said

"So, let's begin" Zipp suggested before turning to the parkour "First you guys will be flying up and down through the three poles, then you go through the poles where you will be flying by yourself and afterwards you make an easy drawing from the clouds that suggest your favorite thing and if we can guess what it is---" Zipp started

"Zipp, let's not do that now, maybe later" Sunny suggested

"Fine! You guys don't need to do that but once the basics are over you can so does anyone have any questions?" Zipp asked

The group shook their heads

"Alright, also just a reminder, it's not a race so no worries" Hitch said

"Yep also keep in mind that if you have any questions let us know" Sunny suggested

"Aye, aye captains!" The trio called out

"Alright, now! Start!" Zipp shouted

Afterwards the trio began flying as they went through the parkour

"Also, we forgot but do three laps!" Sunny called back

The trio then began doing it as Y/N came with Izzy and Windy

"Wow! They're doing great" Y/N said in awe

"Yeah, Izzy why don't you take Windy with you, I mean, you made the parkour yourself so you know what to do" Zipp reminded

"Yes sir! I'm on it!" Izzy called out

Afterwards the duo walked off as Y/N turned to Zipp

"So Zipp, how's it going?" Y/N asked

"Really well, everybody passed the basics so they need to do this" Zipp explained

"It seems you're getting the hang of this though" Y/N said

"Yeah I do and for some reason I like doing it" Zipp said

"Well, we can do the lessons each 5 days and stop lessons every midday" Y/N suggested

"Good idea and you guys may still help if you want" Zipp suggested

"Well, I can already say that I'll help you as I'm always by your side" Y/N said

Zipp then got teary eyes as he looked at Y/N happily

"Thanks Y/N, you know how to help a friend" Zipp thanked

"No worries now come on, we're supposed to check on their lessons" Y/N reminded

"True" Y/N agreed

A while later after lessons were complete Zipp and Y/N were standing in front of their friends as they all looked at the four fliers

"Alright, we've got some good news" Y/N said

"Yep, so Izzy if you would like to" Zipp suggested

"On it!" Izzy called out

Izzy then approached the four fliers and puts bands on their hooves

"When we started you guys looked like you couldn't fly and always crashed through stuff but thanks to this place, you guys and the friends alongside us you are now captains of the sky" Y/N said

"Yep and while it was a tough road I--- No, we have no doubt that you all passed" Zipp agreed

"Yep so you may all now throw your hats" Y/N suggested

Afterwards the four ponies threw their hats into the air as everybody cheered while Zipp turned to Y/N

"Thanks again for believing in me Y/N I never would've been able to do it without you" Zipp thanked

"Anything for you bud, now guys, who wants some smoothies?!" I asked

"ME!!!" The five called out

"I'll pay!" Sunny called out

Afterwards the duo went to get some smoothies and when it was nighttime they went to sleep in the Crystal Brighthouse until a ghost that was surrounded in yellow glitters began floating around to the point when it approached Pipp she began laughing as she rubbed her nose before opening her eyes and when she did she saw the ghost which made her scream as she ran out of bed and around the room until Y/N woke up as he saw the others struggling to sleep making him fly to Pipp and cover her muzzle

"What's wrong Pipp?" Y/N asked worriedly

"G-G-Ghost!" Pipp called out worriedly pointing behind Y/N

"Come on Pipp, there's no way there's a ghost and even if there is, it's invisible, so when I turn around there won't be any---" Y/N started as he turned around only to see a ghost behind him "Ghozt!" Y/N gasped in shock before he went to the storage and back with a cleaner "Alright! Let's-a go!" Y/N called out before he turned to the ghost and made the cleaner try to suck in the ghost but in closer inspection he stopped as he grabbed it "Actually, that was just your blanket that Izzy used her magic on" Y/N said pointing to the side

The duo then turned around only to see Izzy giggling and speaking in her dream while glitter came out of her horn

"Oh, right, sorry Y/N" Pipp apologized before angrily turning to Izzy "Thanks Izzy! I am like, soooo super-traumatized right now, I'll be lucky to get any sleep" Pipp apologized

Afterwards Pipp went back to bed as Y/N approached Izzy and tapped her horn causing the magic to cut off before going back to sleep

"Goodnight Pipp and remember no screaming anymore, we're all tired" Y/N suggested

"Will do" Pipp said

Afterwards the duo went to sleep

The next day it was early in the morning as a rooster called out which woke Izzy and Y/N up as they both went downstairs

"Morning Izzy" Y/N greeted

"Morning Y/N, how was your sleep?" Izzy asked 

"Not that well, I mean you woke me up last night along with Pipp" Y/N answered

"I did, whoops! I sleep talked once again, I'll be careful next time" Izzy said

"Yeah but you also----" Y/N started before sighing in defeat "Nevermind, let's just get some breakfast, I'll make pancakes" Y/N said

"Alright, I'll eat peanut butter in the meantime" Izzy said

"Alright" Y/N said

The duo then went to the kitchen and when they arrived Izzy began singing

"This is how a unicorn sings, first thing in the moooorniiiing!" Izzy sang in excitement

Izzy then spun around as we then saw that she wore a crown while Y/N turned around before giggling as Izzy then hopped on over to the desk, grabbed Pipp's bottle of hair spray which she then loosened before spraying it everywhere which Y/N heard

"Izzy, don't!" Y/N ordered before he used his magic to clean her hair and teleports the spray and it's lid away before he noticed Izzy going to Zipp's book which she then scribbles on which made Y/N smile before Izzy approached the freezer and opened it before putting the pen in it and switches it with the peanut butter which she then puts on a bread and when she did she grabbed Pipp's phone and makes a picture not noticing that she was covered in peanut butter and when she was done she walked off as Y/N turned to her "Izzy's usually calm in the morning so what's got her so perked up?" Y/N thought in worry

Afterwards Y/N walked on over to his friends who had bags under their eyes

"Morning guys, how'd you sleep?" Y/N asked

"Morning but could you please calm Izzy down?" Pipp asked

"Sure but what's the reason?" Y/N asked

"Last night Izzy kept muttering glitter which kept us half awake" Sunny explained

"I agree and normally I was planning on going to meet Phyllis for more lessons with more pegasi" Zipp explained

"Well, if it helps I'll go talk with her and see what I can do" Y/N said

"Yeah, thanks Y/N" Pipp thanked

"No worries" Y/N said

Y/N then gallops off after Izzy before he saw her going into Maretime Bay as he approached her

"Hey Izzy, how's it going?" Y/N asked

Izzy then turned around

"Oh, morning Y/N!" Izzy greeted

"Say, me and my friends were wondering why you were so perked up or why you began muttering in your sleep" Y/N explained

"Me?! Oh, I'm just excited to go get more inspiration, hehe" Izzy answered nervously

Y/N who heard Izzy's nervous tone then turned to her again

"Izzy, you don't seem happy, tell us what it is and maybe we can help" Y/N reminded

"Me?! Not happy?! Come on Y/N buddy? Why else am I happy then?!" Izzy asked nervously

"Izzy, I want to help you, I mean, you did a lot of stuff wrong today, sure some of them was for a good reason but still" Y/N explained

"Y/N, I swear I'm---" Izzy started

Y/N who heard Izzy's voice beginning to shake then approached her as he puts an arm around her waist

"Izzy, you know you can tell me anything, I'm here for you, is there something that you don't like here?" Y/N asked

"Y-Yes" Izzy answered sadly

"What is it, I'm sure we can fix it then" Y/N explained

"You can't" Izzy said sadly

"Izzy, I've had to calm down Sunny a few times before in the past and she always let's me do it, is there something you don't want us to know?" Y/N asked

"There is" Izzy said

"Alright, if you don't wanna talk about it that's fine but---" Y/N started

"Wait! You know what, I'll tell you" Izzy said

"Well then, what is it?" Y/N asked worriedly

"I actually never lived with friends before" Izzy answered

"Huh?! Why not? I mean you've slept with us for a few days now, even when we went to save the magic" Y/N explained

"I know but when I lived in Bridlewoods I've always felt like an outcast" Izzy explained

"Huh? Why?" Y/N asked

"Well, sure I was great at making art back then but they were actually customers that buyed them not friends and everytime I tried to make friends they would always leave me out, I've always felt so alone" Izzy explained

Y/N who heard that could only look in sadness

"Izzy, I don't know what to say but you've got friends now including me and we would never leave you alone" Y/N said

"Yeah but I never knew how it felt like to sleep with friends especially how it felt like to always live on my own but it was when the lantern you and Sunny sent that I knew I had friends somewhere" Izzy explained

"So that's why you came to Maretime Bay, to search for friends" Y/N thought

"Yeah, it was then that I realized that you and Sunny protected me and when our mission was complete I never knew that I would stay here for the rest of my life and I didn't know how to do it" Izzy explained

"Well, I've had my fair share of sleep overs the past few years so I think I can help you learn how to sleep with friends" Y/N suggested

"Really, you can?! Thanks" Izzy thanked

"No worries also next time don't use stuff from your friends before asking for permission, I'm sure they would've hated it" Y/N suggested

"Yeah, hehe, I was bottling things up a lot wasn't I" Izzy said

"Yeah but don't worry I'll make sure these stuff get fixed now come on, I think you need to talk to your friends about this, maybe they can help" Y/N suggested

"Alright then, let's go!" Izzy suggested

Afterwards the trio went back to the Crystal Brighthouse and when they did Pipp and Zipp began glaring at Izzy before Y/N went in front of her

"Okay, I know what you guys are thinking and yes I'm angry about that too but I think Izzy has to explain things a little bit" Y/N suggested

"Really?! Then how is there a lot of Peanut butter on my phone?!" Pipp asked angrily

"Or why are there scribbles on my word searcher?!" Zipp asked angrily

"I'll explain, so as you guys may know I never had any real friends and this is my first time sleeping with friends" Izzy explained

"Well, we did sleep without friends before" Zipp said too

"Except for me!" Sunny reminded

Pipp then turned to Sunny angrily

"Not helping!" Pipp reminded

Afterwards the trio turned back to the two

"But somepony very special told me he'd help me with sleeping with friends and I know that I may have messed up your nights a teeny tiny bit but I'm willing to fix things" Izzy explained

"Well, first of all we undersand and second of all next time ask before using our stuff or else I need to buy some new mind scratching books" Zipp suggested

"Yeah, I'll be careful with that next time" Izzy said

Sunny then approached the group

"Also one more thing could you please stop muttering glitter every night" Sunny pleaded

"I'll try but if I do it again you may always let me know" Izzy suggested

"Good" Sunny said

"Now, shall I fix or clean your stuff?" Y/N asked

"Of course" Zipp answered

Y/N then began lightening his magic so bright as the scribbles on Zipp's book got erased and Pipp's phone got turned back to normal before he let's his spell go

"There! That's fixed" Y/N said

"Thanks for that Y/N" Sunny thanked

"No problem, if you have any more problems just let me know" Y/N suggested
