"Equestria, a land full of harmony, friendship and hope especially if it comes from somewhere in the future, a future where everypony is happy but the beginning of our lives wasn't especially because of a certain somepony but that's besides the point because this story which I'm about to tell you contains a lot of harem, love and of course harmony but why don't we start with the story that started our worst past starting with my beginning" (Y/N) explained before changing the screen to (Y/N)'s past

I was then seen as a filly walking across town with my mom also known as (M/N) as I was a bit confused at why I always had to wear a hat when walking, especially my mom

"Hey mom? I was wondering but why do I always need to wear a hat when walking?" (Y/N) asked

"Well, from what I've heard about Phyllis, people seem to target Unicorns and Pegasi because they hate them and I've always been an adventurer, I even met your father during one of my adventures" (M/N) answered

"Wait! So you've been adventuring the region for years now?!" (Y/N) asked

"Yeah, it's a little hard to explain but during my adventures I had to always..." (M/N) started before looking at her surroundings to see if anypony was listening and when they weren't she continued "...had to wear either a hat or some made up wings" My mom explained

"But how didn't you get caught?" (Y/N) asked

"Well, I was almost caught multiple times but managed to always escape it by saying some lies" (M/N) answered

"Wow! That sounds horrible! Why did that pony do this?!" (Y/N) asked in shock

"I'm not sure some people think it was a terrible monster who didn't care about friendship or it was somepony who attacked because they didn't care about each other but that's all just speculation" (M/N) said

"Wow! That's horrible!" (Y/N) said

"I know and that's why we're going to my best buds' house, he lives somewhere in the outskirts of Maretime Bay along with his daughter so we are going to check up on him and his daughter" (M/N) said

"Alright! Let's get to it then!" (Y/N) said

The two soon arrived at the lighthouse as we heard happy chattering which made me and my mom smile at the sounds before my mom rang the doorbell which made the chattering stop as somebody walked to the door before he opened it before he saw the two of us and smile as the duo then saw that his coat was light blue, his mane and tail were royal blue with white and purple streaks which were tied backwards with the tail being normal and had purple eyes, his Cutie Mark was an yellow shooting star the streaks being red yellow and blue, he also has some glasses on his muzzle which was brown on the bottom and around his neck he also has an wooden sculpture of Twilight's Cutie Mark that being a giant star with a star behind it

After he noticed the two of them he gave them a smile

"Hi there, what sends you two to my humble abode?" The stallion asked

"Well, you're an intelligent inventor and such, right?" (M/N) asked

"Of course, what's up with that?" The stallion asked

"Well, could you please explain to my son the story about Equestria's friendship origin before any of the tribes splitted up?" My mom asked

"Hmm, alright, I hope you're ready for a big story because this will be one you'll quite enjoy" The stallion suggested

"I know I will" (Y/N) said

The stallion then led (Y/N) and his mother into his house before he started calling out to his daughter

"Sunny! Could you come downstairs for a bit?!" The stallion asked

"Of course! Coming!" Sunny called back out

Then the sound of an elevator was heard as the platform came slowly moving downwards before the trio saw a filly who had an light vermilion coat with light brownish gray fetlocks on the bottom, moderate orchid and heliotrope mane and tail which's bottom was tied up in a green ribbon with her flank being blank, she also had moderate turquoise eyes

After the elevator stopped Sunny jumped out of the spot and ran towards her father in excitement

"Daddy, daddy, will you tell a bit more about Unicorns and Pegasi?!" The pony known as Sunny asked

"Of course, I was about to tell these nice ponies about it too" Her father said

"They definitely look nice! Hey guys?! How are you today?! What did you two eat for breakfast?! Did you two make any friends?!" Sunny asked excitedly

After asking these questions (M/N) and (Y/N) chuckled before the former approached the man

"She's quite the ecstatic one, isn't she?" (M/N) asked

"Of course and that's why I love her" Her father answered

"But what about the story? Aren't you gonna tell us?" (Y/N) asked

After saying that the duo noticed (Y/N) being impatient which made them realize something

"Oh right, forgot about that" Sunny's father said

"No worries" (Y/N) said

"Well, if you really want to hear it then we need to go take a seat somewhere comfortable, right?" (M/N) asked

"Oh yeah, let's go sit at the kitchen" Sunny's father suggested

"Alright!" Sunny said

The trio then trotted on over to the kitchen stools and went to sit on them as Sunny's father began talking

"So, at the beginning of time there was a bright young stallion who has been given birth by her mother, the pony who has sent the windigo's away and defeated Grogar the first time they met but one day they had to leave that world for 17 years until his magic got revealed and once the bright young stallion returned he shined bright hope and legends into the future of all ponies along with his friends until one day when a jealous pony started making all the ponies argue for no reason until the bright young stallion and mare decided to put all of the magic into 3 gems and have splitted them up in 3 different regions, Maretime Bay, Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood which for now are still the lands we live in, the bright young stallion also send some signals of his powers somewhere inside a ponies' mind which we still haven't found to this day" Sunny's father explained

"Wow! That must've been a long search!" Sunny said

"I agree, but how come nopony found the signals yet?" (Y/N) asked

"That nopony knows as it's been lost in everypony's mind and nopony knows about that descendant just yet" Sunny's father explained

"Well, even if it isn't found out I'll keep working as hard as possible to let that descendant return!" (Y/N) suggested

"I agree, especially since it's been a while since anypony knew about it" Sunny agreed

"I know for no doubt that you two will do a great job either finding the descendant or help the ponies around town" (M/N) said

"Thanks mom, I'll never let you down" (Y/N) said

"Also keep in mind even if you don't find the descendant you should promise me that you'll always protect everypony around you" (M/N) said

"Pinkie Promise!" (Y/N) said

"Well, then if you guys want to, you can go play outside as me and (Y/N)'s mother would like to talk to each other for just a bit" Sunny's father said

"Alright! Then let me show you two of my besties!" Sunny said

"Wow! Lucky for you, I don't even have a single one, except for my mom if you count her" (Y/N) said

"Great! Let's go then!" Sunny said excitedly

Sunny and (Y/N) then ran off as (M/N) looked at Sunny's father worriedly

"You sure it's a good idea to have my son make some new friends, I mean, what if somepony finds out he's a different species?" (M/N) asked

"I know you're worried, especially since I've always seen you and your son walking through town with a hat on but I'm sure that he's now old enough to keep it on even if certain ponies don't exactly agree with it" Sunny's father explained

"Maybe you're right, maybe I should stop worrying about it" (M/N) said

After saying that (M/N) looked out the window to see where (Y/N) and Sunny left from which made her relieved

Meanwhile in the outskirts of town Sunny was seen running with (Y/N) towards her friends as (Y/N) started to talk

"Who are you by the way?" (Y/N) asked

Just then the duo screeched to a halt

"Oh, I forgot about that, I'm Sunny Starscout and my father that you saw a few minutes ago is named Argyle Starshine" Sunny explained

"Oh okay, now where exactly are your friends?" (Y/N) asked

"They must be around here somewhere, I just wished that I had wings so I could find them or a horn so that I could levitate or teleport myself to the duo" Sunny said sadly

I then approached Sunny and touched her back

"Don't worry Sunny, I know you can't find them easily but from what I've read in a few stories with magic and flight in it, it isn't always easy to find them while flying in the air or teleporting as you need to focus tightly on that" (Y/N) explained

"Yeah, maybe you're right, I should just focus on finding them instead of wishing something that would never happen" Sunny said

"Huh? What do you mean?" (Y/N) asked

"Well, I'm an earth pony and it is almost always impossible to become an Unicorn, Pegasi or more impossible to become an Alicorn" Sunny answered

"Yeah, I get it but I have no doubt that you'll be a great Alicorn, Unicorn or Pegasi when the time comes especially since you're already special in your own way" (Y/N) said

After saying that Sunny blushed a little

"You really mean that?" Sunny asked

"Of course and while most people find your behavior when talking about Pegasi and Unicorns a little bad I don't, I find it really amazing as I'm also a bit on the Unicorn and Pegasi side especially with..." (Y/N) started before checking around the surrounding area to see if anypony was listening in before turning to Sunny again and whispered "Me having a horn" (Y/N) whispered

"Are you saying you're an Unico---" Sunny started

Before Sunny could continue (Y/N) covered her mouth which caused Sunny to make only mumbles before she stops

"You finished?" (Y/N) asked before Sunny nodded excitedly "But yes I'm an..." (Y/N) started before whispering "...Unicorn..." (Y/N) started before talking normally again "That's why I always wear my hat which despite I hate I have to wear everytime I go outdoors with my mother especially with earth ponies hating other species" (Y/N) explained

"Wow! That must've been harsh" Sunny said

"Yeah, but I've got over it soon enough" (Y/N) explained

"Well, that's got to be a little embarrassing" Sunny said

"Yeah, anyways, let's go find your friends" (Y/N) suggested

"Good idea!" Sunny agreed

The duo then began walking again before they found two colts talking at a table one had light amber coat with pale light grayish chest and fetlocks along with his flank being blank, moderate and brilliant turquoise mane and tail and of course moderate tangelo eyes 

(AN: Sorry but like Sunny, I couldn't find a better picture so pretend he has no Cutie Mark yet along with a sheriff's badge and more)

The other colt was a red colt with the edges of the bottom of his hoof were white and the fetlocks were so red that they were almost brown along with his flank also being blank he also has yellow mane and tail and light green eyes

"Hi guys!" Sunny greeted

The duo then turned around and saw the Sunny and (Y/N) before they ran towards the two with a smile

"Hey Sunny! Seems like you created a new friend" Hitch said in happiness

"Yeah, you may not know him but his name is (Y/N) (Y/L/N), he's one of my dad's friend's child as my dad's always talked to his mother when they met each other" Sunny explained excitedly

"Yeah, pretty much" (Y/N) said

"Wow that sounds so awesome, did you by any chance remove your hat on the streets, I've always wanted to see what your mane looks like on the top" Sprout said

After that Hitch angrily turned to Sprout

"Sprout! That's not a nice thing to say especially since he's been living here this whole life! Maybe he's embarrassed of showing his mane or something!" Hitch said

"Yeah, I definitely feel embarrassed from that" (Y/N) lied

"Well, you don't need to be embarrassed, you've got us so please show your mane" Sprout suggested

"No I won't! I've told you twice, I won't show you, it's so embarrassing you'll probably fly out of your coat" (Y/N) said

"I have to agree with him, how would you feel like it if somepony decides to straight up embarrass you with something you didn't want to show or do" Sunny said

"Ugh! Fine! I won't ask again! But on one condition" Sprout said

"Which is?" (Y/N) asked

"You'll help me with me getting my sheriff job" Sprout answered

"Of course, after all I'll someday be a hero" (Y/N) said

"Huh?! A hero? Those haven't been seen for a while" Hitch said

"Well, let's just say that somebody will be a descendant of the former hero of Equestria" Sunny explained

"A hero?! Wow! Whoever they were probably helped lot's of ponies with friendship and harmony in your dreams Sunny!" Sprout said in disbelieve

"That's not true  Sprout I know for a fact that that hero gave peace to the entire world of Equestria in the far past, I have reason to believe that wherever danger was he beated them without a single scratch" (Y/N) said

"You sure about that? If that's so, why wasn't there anything about it in the history books?" Hitch asked

"Because the ponies have been splitted up for a while now, I mean, like a 1000 moons or something like that" Sunny said

"What makes you say that? We've only heard about terrible things about Unicorns and Pegasi at school or somewhere else" Sprout said

"I know they've said that they can snatch you guys and eat you alive or fry their brains but what if that's all wrong, what if they're actually friendly?" Sunny asked

"Friendly?! Hah! I would like to see that alternate universe" Sprout said

Sprout then walks off in anger and disbelief which saddened Sunny as (Y/N) puts an hoof over her shoulder in sympathy before Hitch approached the duo

"Don't worry Sunny, I want to believe you about this hero but what if our teacher was right, what if Unicorns and Pegasi do, do that?" Hitch asked

"I'm not sure, but there's always been a hero around to stop them if that did happen, right?" Sunny asked

"I'm afraid I don't know about that, I mean the history books haven't said anything about it but don't worry I'll still be your friend if you promise me something" Hitch said

"What?" Sunny asked

"You, me, (Y/N) and Sprout will have a playdate in an upcoming month so that you can try and tell us everything about Unicorns and Pegasi along with the full story you think may have happened with the hero" Hitch answered

"Will do, I promise" Sunny said

"Alright, shall we do our signature chant then?" Hitch asked

"Of course" Sunny answered perking up

Sunny and Hitch then hit their hooves on both sides before going lower before jumping as they put their hooves on each other before turning away from each other with their hooves stretched out before pulling them into the air before they put them back on each other finishing the chant

"Up high, down low, hitch it to a post! Flip it sunny-side up and on a piece of toast!" Sunny and Hitch both chanted

After they finished they turned to each other

"Happy now?" Hitch asked

"Of course, thanks Hitch" Sunny thanked

"No worries" Hitch said

The trio then splitted off as Sunny and (Y/N) trotted back home as (Y/N) turned too Sunny

"What was that chant?" (Y/N) asked

"Oh, just something we came up when we first met, it was always done with the two of us to make us feel better" Sunny answered

"Oh alright, well let's go back to your home, I think we've been through enough for just one day" (Y/N) said

"Agreed" Sunny said in agreement

Soon the duo arrived back at Sunny's home where they saw Argyle just finishing his talk with (Y/N)'s mother

"Hi guys! How are you two doing?!" Sunny asked excitedly

"Oh we're doing fine my little Sunny bunny" Argyle answered

"Yeah, how about you two, did you two make some new friends?" (M/N) asked

"Of course although one of our friends was more angry for some reason like he didn't know about the previous hero" (Y/N) answered

"Yeah" Sunny agreed before she realized something "Oh my goodness, I just forgot something!" Sunny gasped in shock

"What did you forget Sunny?" Argyle asked

"I forgot to introduce (Y/N) to Hitch and Sprout" Sunny answered in shock

(Y/N) then let's out a chuckle

"Don't worry Sunny, I know you may have forgotten about it but it's not like we won't have any other chances to talk after all we've got a playdate next month so I'm sure you can try and tell me their names and more" (Y/N) said

"Yeah, maybe you're right, sorry about that" Sunny said

(M/N) then trotted over to his son and gave him a rub with her hoof

"For a young colt you seem mature" (M/N) said

"Yeah, I'm trying to make myself more of a hero to prepare myself for whenever I have to actually do some heroic deeds" (Y/N) said

"I know you do, now let's go home, it's getting late and we still have to eat dinner" (M/N) said

"Alright, see you in a month Sunny! You too Argyle!" (Y/N) said

The two then went out the door and waved as Sunny and Argyle waved back

A few hours in the middle of the night we see (Y/N) sleeping in his bed with his hat off of his head as the screen went into his head before it showed a bright landscape with lots of flowers and a few hills in the distance

After he saw that he looked around himself

"Huh? Where am I?" (Y/N) asked

"Hello there my descendant" A voice called out

Just then (Y/N) turned around and looked around his surroundings only to find no one

"Who are you?! Show yourself?!" (Y/N) ordered angrily

After that the voice that (Y/N) hears reveals itself as it was an alicorn with beige coat and with wings as the feathers of the wings were black, black and dark blue mane and tail with his mane being backwards, he had dark blue eyes, he also wears a white T-Shirt with a grey T-Shirt over it which had black and dark blue triangles on the arms and as Cutie Mark he has two hearts the one in the top was black with a golden streak on the bottom and the bottom one was an upside down heart colored black with a golden streak on the top

After the voice reveals itself (Y/N) could only gasp in shock

"Are you---?!" (Y/N) asked

"Yes, I was the hero of Equestria before things took a dark turn" The hero explained

"So, I'm the chosen one?! Right?!" (Y/N) asked

"Yep, you are, I have no doubt you'll be a great pick to be a brand new hero" The hero explained

"Hold on a second?! I'm gonna be your new hero?! But I have so many questions! Like how did you get into my dreams? What do I do as a hero? Are there any heroic transformations I should take? Or how did you leave without a word from anypony?!" (Y/N) asked in shock

"Those are questions to be explained in due time but what I can tell you is that when I used my magic to hop into your dreams whenever the situation calls for it" The hero answered

"Alright I understand but are you still alive or what?" (Y/N) asked

"Well, yes and no because when I used my magic I accidentally made myself disappear for a 1000 moons, until I returned into your mind" The hero answered

"Wow! That sounds so cool! How did that happen though?" (Y/N) asked

"I'm not sure, there must've been some glitch in my magic but from where I am standing now it seems like I'm in the far future of Equestria, correct?" The hero asked

"Of course, it's been a 1000 moons since everypony's seen you and they've all forgotten about a hero in their world and kept fighting with each other eventually splitting up" (Y/N) explained

"That much I've heard, I've tried to warn Twilight to stop doing that plan but she kept insisting on doing it which is now the situation you see around town" The hero said

"Wow! That sounds horrible! But what kind of plan?" (Y/N) asked

"To get rid of everypony's magic and put them all together in some gems she found years ago and right before she did that I've send a signal which ended my life sort of" The hero explained

"Wow! Did anypony miss you?" (Y/N) asked

"I'm not sure but I think they do, anyways that's besides the point but what I'm about to tell you might be a bit strange but soon when you're older an Unicorn who is the same as you will join you on your quest because of some letter" The hero explained

"Huh?! What kind of quest? Or what kind of letter?" (Y/N) asked

"You'll find out soon enough also during your quest make sure to get all three jewels" The hero suggested

"I'll keep that in mind, thanks for telling me" (Y/N) thanked

"No worries, and remember I'll always be in your dreams" The hero said

"I'll keep that in mind" (Y/N) said

After that the hero smiled at (Y/N) for a bit before it started vanishing into thin air as (Y/N) woke up before looking at the window to see if it was morning and yes it was so (Y/N) went downstairs before arriving by his mother who turned around after hearing the sounds of trotting

"Oh! Good morning my sweet (Y/N)" (M/N) greeted

"Morning mom" (Y/N) greeted back

"Did you have a wonderful sleep?" (M/N) asked

"Of course! Hey mom, remember when Argyle and you said stuff about the new chosen one yesterday?" (Y/N) asked

"Of course, what up with that?" (M/N) asked

"Well,let's just say I'm the chosen one" (Y/N) answered

"What?! You are the chosen one?!" (M/N) asked in shock and happiness

"Of course I just had a dream about it since the hero came into my dreams" (Y/N) explained

"Wow! That's really great! Maybe you should go tell Argyle and Sunny about it" (M/N) said

"Great idea, I'll do it but first I'll go get my hat" (Y/N) suggested

"Alright then, go ahead" (M/N) suggested

(Y/N) then went to go get his hat before he rushed out of the door galloping to Sunny and Argyle's home and when he arrived he jumped really high to ring the doorbell before landing back on the ground as he could hear sounds from inside the lighthouse before the door turned open as Argyle and Sunny looked to see (Y/N) alone

"Hey (Y/N), you must have some news if you're gonna come here alone" Argyle said

"Of course but can we talk about it inside?" (Y/N) asked

"Sure" Argyle said

The three of us  then went inside as Sunny was already beaming in excitement from this news

"You guys remember when we talked about the chosen one yesterday, right?" (Y/N) asked

"Of course, we even tried telling our friends but they didn't believe us but for the rest we learned more about it" Sunny answered

"True, well, do you two believe in faith?" (Y/N) asked

"Of course I have faith that we can bring pony kinds together" Sunny answered

"Same here" Argyle said

"Well, then you're in luck sort of because I'm the chosen one!" (Y/N) said

"Huh?!" The duo asked in confusion

"How do you know that?" Argyle asked

"Because I had a dream where the hero talked to me" (Y/N) answered happily

"What?!" The duo gasped in shock and happiness

"I knew you would be a great pick! Great job" Sunny said

"I have to agree with my daughter here, not everybody can get their faith that easily but since you gained it I'm proud of you, I have a feeling your mother is aswell" Argyle said

"Oh she really is happy, after all she sent me here to tell you guys" (Y/N) said

"Really? Well, that must mean she's proud of you then" Argyle said

"Of course, hey maybe me and Sunny could go tell Hitch and Sprout about my dream?" (Y/N) suggested

"Great idea, but the only question is how?" Sunny asked

"We could see where they are of course" (Y/N) answered

"Alright, let's get going then" Sunny said

The duo then ran out the house and onto the streets of Maretime Bay as they searched for either Hitch or Sprout before they heard arguing in the distance which made then round a corner before noticing Hitch and Sprout arguing

"Why would you want me to go to those freaks' house?!" Sprout asked angrily

"They're not freaks, they're my friends! Especially since we're doing a playdate where Sunny and (Y/N) will explain everything so could you just please for once actually believe them?" Hitch asked

"Ugh! Fine! But don't think I will trust Pegasi and Unicorns even after the story" Sprout said

"That's not what I was---" Hitch started before grunting "Whatever" Hitch said

Sunny then decided to perk up

"What's going on here?" Sunny asked

After asking Sprout and Hitch turned to (Y/N) and Sunny in shock

"Whoa! How long were you here?!" Sprout asked in shock and worry

"Long enough to know what you two were talking about" (Y/N) answered

"Ugh! Whatever! That doesn't mean that I trust your stories and stuff!" Sprout said angrily

"Actually, we're not here to tell you a story, we're here to tell you two something that happened last night with (Y/N)" Sunny explained

"Huh? Did something terrible happen?!" Hitch asked

"What if his memory of trusting Pegasi and Unicorns got erased! I would actually laugh at that!" Sprout said happily

"Sprout!" Hitch called out angrily

"Sorry" Sprout apologized before clearing his throat "What were you two about to tell us by the way?" Sprout asked

"Well, I had a dream last night about a certain hero" (Y/N) explained

"Huh?! Was that hero big, tall, strong or just a little nuisance?" Sprout asked

"Sprout!" Hitch called out before turning to Sunny and (Y/N) again "What happened in that dream?" Hitch asked

"He said I was the chosen one" (Y/N) answered

"Wait really?!" Hitch asked in shock

"Possibly the chosen one of imbeciles" Sprout reminded

"No, I'm the new chosen hero from this age" (Y/N) explained

"Wait so a literal past hero told you, you are a new hero?!" Sprout asked in shock

"Yes but not now as I still need to learn especially since I'm still young and stuff" (Y/N) answered

"Wow! Maybe you could save Earth Ponies when you're older" Hitch said

"Yeah, I would like that" (Y/N) agreed

"Well, then you must be serious enough to do it" Hitch said

"Yeah, but before I actually become a hero I should first learn how to fight whenever danger comes around and maybe even learn somethings about being a hero" (Y/N) explained

"You know, if you want I could soon send you to some training school for sheriffs, I'm sure they can give you some basic needs on how to protect a town" Hitch suggested

"Or I could go have you learn some leadership skills with my mom Phyllis" Sprout suggested

"Hmm, maybe both, I want to learn every single peace of lessons to become a great leader and fighter" (Y/N) suggested

"Well, if that's so I could ask Argyle to research some of the learning clothes for you to make you even more prepared" Sunny said

"Ugh! Your picks are so hard! Ugh! You know what I'll agree with these things you suggest and we'll see what works best for me" (Y/N) said

"Alright, and if you need any help with any of these lessons make sure to let us know" Hitch suggested

"Will do" (Y/N) said

The four then gave a hug as they gave each other a grateful smile as the trio wanted to help (Y/N) and so (Y/N) spends the rest of the weeks learning on how to be a great hero and leader by either learning how to fight or learning some good leadership skills of what the others needed, he also learned a few of the rules he had to follow if he was gonna be a leader but there were some he didn't agree with but pretended to do so like 'Earth Ponies may never interact with Pegasi and Unicorns' and everyday he got much smarter even doing a few tests after the end of each week and while most of them were hard (Y/N) answered each question correctly before at the last day before the playdate he met back with his friends

"So (Y/N), how'd it go with these lessons?" Hitch asked

"It went well, I've learned a lot these last few days, I'm even a skilled fighter now" (Y/N) answered

(Y/N) then started making martial arts noises while kicking the air with four hooves before crushing his test answers paper which made Sunny, Hitch and Sprout all look at each other with smiles

"Well, guess we helped (Y/N) a lot with his preparations which means he's fully ready, don't you two agree?" Hitch asked

"Yep! Now (Y/N) if you need any of us helping you again just let us know and we'll be happy to" Sunny said

"I will, I promise" (Y/N) said

After that the four gave a hug in a job well done, waved at each other and trotted off with smiles on their faces
