"Dad sir..?" Areum asked as she saw Saeran behind her. He looked upset and like he was hiding something behind his back.

"Do... You want to see your family?" He asked. Areum smiled at him and nodded.

"I do but you're just as much my family!" She said excitedly. Was Saeran saying she could finally see them again? She had so much to tell Jeaki!

"Okay... Then close your eyes, princess, and count to three," Saeran said. Areum nodded and closed her eyes.

"One... Two...Thr-" She was stopped mid sentence as she screamed in pain, something jabbing into her. She looked down to see a sharp, long needle stuck in her side, it's contents being pushed into her system. She didn't recognize it, it wasn't even the usual color of what dose she usually got. "Mr. S?" She was growing tired and the world was seemed to black out slowly.

Saeran smiled at her with all the affection he felt for the little girl. "It's okay, Areum. Nobody will ever hurt you again. I'm sorry I let them do that to you," He said, Areum knowing he was referring to the most recent beating she had gotten when he touched her bruised face delicately. She noticed tears were stinging his eyes and was confused as to what he was doing. Why was he crying and why did he do that? She didn't have time to ask since she finally passed out.

Areum looked around, knowing she was in a dream state by the way it looked fuzzy and distorted. Nevertheless, she recognized Saeran and Rika in her dream as they both smiled at her and put thier hands out to help her up. She took both of them and smiled.

"Hi!" Areum said, receiving a 'hi' from them in return.

"Guess what? Savior is finally going to play hide and seek with us," Saeran said, causing Areum to squeak in excitement. Savior never wanted to play and, if Areum asked, she'd order Saeran to give her more of that medicine.

"Are you serious? Yay! Miss. Savior, do you want to count?"

"No thank you. You can count and I will hide. Mr. S will hide too," Rika said. All Areum did was smile and close her eyes, counting all the way to ten. Finally, she reached the double digit number and screamed "Ready or not, here I come!" As loud as she could. She ran to the hiding places, childish excitement escaping her as she looked over bushes and in logs. She found Saeran hunched over a rock and Saeran helped her find Rika, who was hiding behind a tree.

"Good job, Areum! Now, why don't you go to to your real family?" Rika asked. Areum was confused as she felt an arm grasp her from behind, dragging her away from both Saeran and Rika as they waved goodbye. She whined and cried that she wanted to play a little more to the figure pulling her but it wouldn't listen to her. She couldn't even see who it was.

Areum woke up, her vision blurry for a second and her hearing sounding as if she were underwater. It cleared up and she realized her father, mother and brother were sitting beside the bed, listening to the doctor and not realizing she had woken up.

"Daddy...?" She opted to call out to Jumin, who in turned whipped his head back to her, an astonished look on his face.

"Areum!" He cried, tackling her in a hug which triggered a chain of her mother and brother joining, making it into a group hug.

"We're lucky. You were unconscious right at the doorstep of C&R. It's a wonder what kind of kidnapper would just keep you for a year or so and then bring you back but we'll only know if you tell us. Then we can bring justice," Said an officer in the room who was next to the door. She looked past him and noticed that Saeran was just outside the door, clad in a doctor's coat and smiling at her. It was a reassuring one, one that said 'You say whatever you want. I'll always be here'.

As soon as she saw him, though, he turned and disappeared down the corridor, that being the last smile she'd ever see of Mr. S.
