Roberto was hitting the doors with his powers activated but Reyes had put the shields back up so it was practically impenetrable

Sam turned the corner to find him "Hey, Berto! Berto!" He yelled catching his attention and powered down "Bitch put force fields over all the exits." He stated walking to him

"Is she trying to kill us?" Sam questioned

"Don't know. Did she make those smiley things?" Berto askrd

"No. They're Illyana's." Sam replied

"Of course they are." Berto grumbled "Have you seen the girls?" Sam asked "Amy's on the way"

"No." Berto shook his head " where's Amy?"

" kicking ass, one of her fears came back" Sam replied as they ran fine the hall " and she's alone?!" Berto exclaimed

However they stopped when they heard a loud banging " whoa!!" And quickly moved out of the way when the thing was being sent flying, also rolling down the halls and crashing into the wall at the other end of the hallway

The two look back to see Amy controlling the water mid air, looking mad but looking badass As she did it

" Amy?" They're attention went back to the thing as it began getting up, before it could though, Amy sent the water flying at it, while forming and freezing it into a large ice spike, which impaled the beast, which roared in agony, before it melted into a pile of ink

"Holy shit Amy..." Sam says complexly surprised as berto was by what they witnessed

"Sorry" she says shaking her head "let's find the others" she then rushed off for the stairs while the two watched her, still shocked by what just happened

"That was so hot."berto murmured, Sam looked at him like 'what the hell' but couldn't Help but agreed with him And followed after her "Upstairs." Sam was about to go upstairs before seeing smiley-men

Sam activated his like Amy with the fire since her water was gone,  but stopped when they heard Illiyana's voice booming "Sopheet...limbo om limbotance!!" Suddenly Illiyana zooms out from her limbo and began slaughtering all smiley-men, using her disappearing to avoid being caught when she reappeared she almost hit sam but managed to stop herself and finish off the rest of the smiley men Until they were all dead

"Where the hell did you go?" Sam asked as the two powered down, the girl looked back to them "To our special place." Illiyana grinned. 

"That was awesome. But you didn't have to leave us there." Amy says panting

Elsewhere

Dr Reyes limped down the hall she stood in, leaned against the wall for a quick rest And look at her wound, gritting her teeth from the pain and blood that dripped onto the floor, She then continued to where she was going

Meanwhile

Rahne and Dani were in Reyes office, she placed the tired girls into the chair as The others walked in to see the commotion "What the hell's going on? Where's Dr. Reyes?" Berto asked as Rahne tried to calm Her self "She tried to kill Dani." She stated

"What?" Sam and Amy asked in disbelief

"That test? It wasn't a test. She tried to kill her." Rahne explained then turned to the white haired girl " Amy you were right to be suspicious of her"

" no way..." the girl said shocked by her own suspicion being correct

"My file." Illiyana picked it up after finding in with the rest and began reading it out loud for the group while walking to them "Patient reviles authority. But her fragmented psyche and base hatred for humans... makes her a prime candidate for the program. Conclusion...a killer with limitless potential." She said, looking up with tears in her eyes. "Recommended continued investment."  

She hit Berto with her file and stomped over to the chair by Dr. Reyes' desk and brought Lockheed to her chest.

"Essex Corporation." Berto read the title on the cover making Amy gasp at the familiarity of the name

"That must have been the place I saw." Dani muttered

" s-sorry...what did you just say it was called?" Amy asked making them look over " do you know this place?" Berto asked showing the title to her

Amy looked at the name wide eyed she quickly looked around for her file " what's are you doing?" Berto asked " where's my file" she says still looking around " over here" Sam called out after finding it on a pile

She quickly opened it and read the notes "Subject name : Amy, Powers: elements, Subject escaped with blood sister and ward
Retrieved from abandoned destroyed town" her heart dropped when she read out what she found next "Drugs Seem to be working well, subject is not aware of past traumatic experiences..." She nearly fell to the floor "Amy!"  But luckily berto droped the file he held and caught her " snowy!" Illyana yelled

" you good?!" Sam says in worry

" these are the guys I was running from..." she stated " what?" Rahne asked confused as the others

" my...my sister...and me...these guys don't help you, they genetically engineered mutant children using the DNA of other mutants in a lab..." she stated

" they what?!"

" I don't know who my mother is...but I have a blood sister...they raised us there in hopes of turning us into soldiers...I'm one of them..." Amy begins to sob " my sister too...I want my sister!...." Berto rubbed her shoulder "Easy Amy..."

"She wasn't prepping us to be X-Men." Rahne added, "She was prepping us to be killers "Which only made Amy feel worst and her crying which roberto helped by comforting her 'shh'

  "We don't have much time." Dani said, getting up from her chair a bit shaky "Reyes wants me dead and it won't be long before she comes back to finish the job." She stood in front of the group with a determined look.   "How? This place was designed to keep us inside." Berto asked, "he's right, All our powers, it won't work. It's useless." Amy stated wiping her tears from her eyes

  "No, it isn't." Dani said, then looked to Rahne. "We got each other out of our cages. We can get out of this." 

"That's all well and good." Sam said, breaking up the moment Dani put us in and took a step towards us from his spot by the drawers. "But she's still got force fields around the building. The windows...everything. How're you going to get past that?" Sam asked, looking in Dani's eyes "By taking out the source." She replied

And of course Illiyana says without hesitation
"Then let's kill the bitch."

Time skip

The group walked down the halls, backs to the wall with Rahne in the lead, tracking her smell but also following the little drops of blood they found, Just then the intercom went off "Tonight, I'd like to talk about responsibility..." Amy shivered at the sound of her voice, still afraid to face her, she also sounded like she was struggling "You have a responsibility for your treatment. I want all of you to go to your rooms now. If you disobey..." she grunted "or try to leave this facility...it is my responsibility to stop you!....No matter what it takes." She warned then went silent

"How do you know she's still in there?" Dani asked as they entered the room  "I'm a good smeller." Rahne stated

All six spread out, Dani, Rahne and Sam in front while Berto, Illiyana and Amy in the back, that cause Amy was still afraid of her, so Illiyana kept her close"You're a good killer." Dr. Reyes caught her breath revealing herself hidden in the corner

"What's going on? What's Essex Corp?" Sam asked still acting like he didn't know for Amy's sake

Dr. Reyes groaned after she stumbles out "It's a scientific organization found by my superiors." She says

Amy walked out   "Founded to do what? Screw with our heads?" She asked in anger " like you did to me?" She asked in disbelief

"To save you!" Reyes snapped making the group step back by her raised voice "If-If it wasn't for me, you all would've been dead a long time ago!" Dr. Reyes yelled, putting force-field over all of them

Illiyana screams, Berto punched the force-field, Sam has one hand reaching out the force-field

Amy's fears grew worst and began hyperventilating "Hey! Hey! Calm down. Like I said, I want all of you to calm down! Alright? Promise me to do that and I'll let you go.. except Dani." She knelt in front of Dani who looked scared. "Dani needs to be put down."

"No! No!" Rahne yelled.

"Let us out!" Illiyana kicked the force-field.

" don't do this!" Amy cried

"It's for her own good... And yours." Dr. Reyes looks at Illiyana.  "I'm sure you figured out her powers by now.. so special." Dr. Reyes turned back to Dani. "She takes your greatest fear.. darkest secrets...." she looked to Rahne and Amy "and makes you live through it over.. and over... and over.. and over... Until it kills you." Dr. Reyes started taking the oxygen out of Dani's force-field, causing her to suffocate

" stop it!" Amy yelled, hitting the barrier, however the as she kneeled down the barriers were getting smaller and the others were struggling under the pressure "That's it. That's it. Breathe. That's it. " She whispered "You are about to see your father again." Dr. Reyes smiled. "In the spirit world..." Dr. Reyes said as Dani fell unconscious. 

" Dani!!!!" Amy shrieked

Meanwhile

In her office the camera's in her office began buffering and going off line

One of the screens what showed outside changed and said ' perimeter breach'

Back to the others

The building shakes and Reyes turns around, she saw something outside the window move by  "What are you doing, Dani?" Reyes asked however she wasn't conscious

She turned her attention back to the window, Just then a giant bear with glowing red eyed eyes burst through the wall grabbed Dr. Reyes in its mouth, her deafening scream were something out of A horror movie

Her screams lasted only for a few seconds before a sickening crunch came from the bear's mouth and Dr. Reyes' force fields disappeared.

Amy managed to lift her body up and crawl to dani's unconscious body " Dani?" she gently shook her " Dani!" Rahne joined her side

"Guys, she won't wake up." Rahne said, panicking, Amy looked back up to see the bear lowered back to to whatever remained of reye's body

"Help." She sobbed. We all crawled over to Rahne as she was holding Dani, "Dani!" "Hey, wake up!" Sam said, the closest to them. "Dani! Guys, Dani!" Rahne cried.

Meanwhile

Dani stood in what appeared to be a mind scape, which was dark like night time, and snowing, and around her were bodies

Back in reality

"We need to get out of here." Amy grunted, getting up "It's coming back!" Sam shouted.

The bear got back up on his hind legs and benga forcing it's head in, clawing and biting towards the group

They rushed out from the room, Illyana first, Berto, Rahne and Amy dragging the unconscious Dani then same guarding them from the back

"It's hunting us." Berto said as we all squatted down to the floor. "No, it's hunting Dani." Rahne said, shaking her head.

"Why Dani?" Sam asked, his body behind a corner in the wall. "Because that's what she's afraid of." Amy stated

"Come on. Help me." Rahne said, tried to lift Dani on her own, Sam took Amy's place while Rahne took the other and the two lifted her from the floor, the group began running again,

Illyana and Berto led the way, while Amy stood in back, ready to protect their backside, A ground shaking bang with threw the whole floor which caused the group to collapsed, the whole building kept shaking causing the lights to shake as well

"Take Dani to a safe place." Illyana said, kneeling in front "And I'll take care of this bear." She stood up, a determined murderous look on her face, Turning away "Sopheet limbo om limbotance!" she chanted loudly, causing one of
her portals opened up at the end of the hall.

The portal opened up to show the abnormal bright red sky with the rocky terrain showing and blue electricity humming around it.

"What are you going to do?" Rahne asked as Illyana was walking towards the portal. "I'm going to play with it." She, says, as she walked her arm began to get covered in metal armour "Get her out of here." Illyana ordered and the soul sword manifested itself in her hand, The tip of the sword dragged on the ground before it bursts into blue flames and destroying the tiles as she walked. "Are you crazy?! That thing will kill you!" Sam shouted. "He's right! It's magic." Rahne shouted too, agreeing with him

She turned towards them when she reached the mouth of the portal, "So am I." Her eyes flashed blue.

Amy seemed to be getting the same idea she did " fine, then I'm going too" she says

" the hell you are!" Sam exclaimed

" not now!" The white head says walking to her blond friend "try and keep me out and I'll just go the other way" she says pointing back to the room they left

" alright, let's go..." Illyana grinned before turning around disappearing into her portal with Amy. "No Illy! Amy!." Berto shouted and went after them, but the portal closed before he could follow.
