Chapter 2: Asgard
Adrienne's P.O.V
Smirking, I watched as the final few maids cleared out of the throne room. Loki sat on the throne beside me as I stood and surveyed the room. It was nice, all gold with pillars lining the walls. It was nice to see Loki happy and I was please too, he finally had the throne of Asgard.
Odin had fallen into an Odinsleep leaving no one on the throne. So Loki came to the rescue brining me with him. It was nice, a castle with maids and servants. Guards protecting us from anyone who tried to go against the new arrangement. It felt good, we finally had a rule over people.
"This is just the start of our empire my dear." Loki mused as if reading my thoughts. "One day we will rule all nine realms."
"And no one will stand in our way." I smirked.
"No one." Loki repeated with a grin. "Not the Avengers, not the new prodigies, not even Odin will be able to stop us."
"It will be a better place. A place where everyone will kneel to us!" With both chuckled darkly for a moment until the doors to the throne room flew open.
"What do you want?" Loki growled at the guard who shifted under his stare.
"My L-Lord. Asgardian's, they are objecting to your ruling." He stuttered out.
"What?!" Loki exclaimed, rising to his feet and flying down the stairs too quickly for me to comprehend. Before I knew it the guard was being held against the wall by his neck by a pale blue skinned Loki. "What did you say?" The God demanded again.
"A group of Asgardian's, they are objecting to the fact you now rule Sir." The guard gasped out as he lost oxygen to his lungs.
"Loki we don't want to kill him." I said softly as I made my way down the stairs and towards the two men. "Send him back to the village with a warning for the people, no need for violence."
"Okay" Loki dropped the guard. "Tell the Asgardian's who object that they just remember I'm. Ore powerful than them. If they are caught objecting again they will be executed within the same hour." The guard nodded quickly and literally ran out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
"What happened to violence isn't the answer?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at the dark haired man next to me, who idly shrugged as he looked down at me.
"My dear sometimes violence is the only way to show authority." He replied. Shaking my head I made my way back up the steps and lay across the throne, my head and feet dangling off each arm. "And sometimes authority is something males don't have." I winked.
