Mr. Levi's POV:

"Good morning class. Today will be another useless day, so you will be choosing extracurricular activities or I will give you an 'F' in this class." I held up some charts and sheets.

"Choose wisely, most of you will probably pick something idiotic." I passed out the sheets to the students.

"Pick now while I get some coffee." I said heading out with my favorite coffee pot.

Mikasa's POV:

There was so many activities I could do. A lot of them were sports. The one that stood out was the 104th Training Corps. There wasn't a description about it, so I went over to Eren to ask.

"Hey Eren!" I greeted him.

"Hi Mika!" He never stops with that nickname...

"Anyway Eren, do you know about the 104th Training Corps?" I questioned him.

"I do. Our friends, Connie and Reiner, are actually the ones that started it. Armin, Annie, and I are thinking about joining. You should, too. It's basically self-defense mixed with obstacle courses class. The name can be misleading. "

"Alright then. I'll join with you guys."

"Really? That's great! I'll go ahead and tell Armin and Annie." He said and walked over to Armin, whom was kissing Annie once again.

I went back to my desk and put a checkmark next to 104th Training Corps. I was ecstatic. I get to be in the same class as my new friends and get taught self-defense! It was like a two-in-one deal!

Armin and Annie were about to head over to my desk, but with perfect timing... Mr. Levi returned with a pot of coffee in hand and told us to return to our seats.

"If you all are now ready, pass up those sheets to the front row." said Mr. Levi. We all passed it up front and he picked it up.

"Now it's time for your boring lesson. Get your textbooks out and turn to page sixty-eight."

Everyone sighed. We all hate his lessons and it's funny that he acknowledges it as boring. Why did he even become a teacher?

Eren's POV:

The bells rang and Mikasa and I walked together again to our science class. Our teacher, Mrs. Hangji, went on and on about how beautiful and delicate the bones of a dead animal were. She made it seem like she was a fan of the dead, not some science teacher. Mikasa and I were both grossed out.

Then came P.E. The teacher was Mr. Keith Shadis (He demands we say his name like that), the most strict, harsh, and rudest teacher to ever live. He was way worse than Mr. Levi.

During a game of dodgeball, he caused 11 students to get injured. He was given a warning but wasn't fired. Why is he even still a teacher here? Why couldn't he have gotten fired years ago?

Soon, it was already lunchtime. I went to the cafeteria and waited. I already had a bento so I didn't have to wait in line for paid lunch. After a while, I asked Armin if he knew where Mikasa was. He just told me all that he remembers was that Mikasa kept talking about me and the roof.

It was already almost halfway into lunch. I rushed out the door, up the stairs and onto the roof. I was out of breath and I kept wheezing for a few seconds. I drank some water and my breathing went back to normal. I looked around and found Mikasa eating in the corner of the railing.

"Whew! I finally found you! I was waiting for you in the cafeteria."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to eat with you..." I started to blush. Wait... Why am I blushing? We're just friends, I think.

Mikasa just smiled. "Thanks. No one ever eats with me. Oh, by the way, you look cute when you blush."

My cheeks turned even more red, almost as red a tomato! Mikasa kept smiling and eventually she laughed.

We ate our lunches together and enjoyed the view. It was the perfect mood. We talked about our classes, teachers, activities, and other stuff.

"Hey, Mika. The bell is going to ring soon..." She didn't answer and leaned on my one of my left shoulder. When I turned my head, I saw that she was sleeping.

"Mika. Mika!" I tried to wake her up.

She just groaned. The bell was going to ring at any moment! I decided to put her on my back and give her a piggy-back ride. She was surprisingly light. I carried her downstairs and to her next class.

Armin had the same class with Mikasa next so he pointed out which desk was hers. I put her down in the chair and tried waking her up.

"Hey Mika! Mika wake up." No response. "Hey Mika!" Still sleeping. "HEY MIKA!!!" I shouted. Her eyes finally started to open. She groaned and yawned.

"Mika I have to go. It's almost time for class. Oh, and thanks for letting me eat lunch with you." She just nodded. I ran out the door and into the hallway. When I finally got back to my classroom, I was barely on time. The bells rang and class started as soon as I came in.

Mikasa's POV:

During the lecture, I kept thinking about Eren. Did I really just fall asleep on his shoulder? Did he really bring me all the way to my classroom? That made me realize something. I know this situation was similar to some point in my past, but I don't remember. And he looked familiar, too. I wished I remembered...

Anyway, I had to make it up to Eren. He has been so nice to me ever since the first day of school. Plus I did sleep on his shoulder, and make him carry me to my class.

The dismissal bell rang and, as usual, everyone started leaving school except one. I quickly made my way out of the classroom and into the hallways, where I walked down towards the stairwell that led up to the roof. Eren was there as always.

"You really like the view, huh?" I asked him.

"As much as you do during lunch."

"That's true." I replied.

"Did you come here to enjoy the view with me?"

"That's only a part of it. I just wanted to thank you for carrying me to my classroom and for being so nice to me everyday. Do you want anything in return?"

"Not really," he said. "But thanks."

That made me sad. I wanted to do something for him. And it has to be today before I forget. Wait... I know!

"Did you want to walk home with me?" I started to blush. I wasn't used to asking or doing this with someone. It was only the one time with Eren.

"Sure! I've always wanted to walk home with you ever since the first time we did it."

I was glad to hear that. "Hey Eren! Let's go before it gets chilly."

"Alright Mika!" Ack! He's still using that nickname!

We went down the stairs and out of the building. It actually felt splendid and enticing. There was a nice, gentle breeze blowing away the cherry blossom leaves. The sky was turning into a beautiful hazy orange. The streets were calm and quiet. I'm really glad I decided to walk home with Eren today. If it feels this good on some days, then I want to walk home with him. And besides, he's comfortable to be with.

"Hey Eren?" I spoke up.

"Yeah?" He turned his head towards me.

"Can I walk home with you everyday?"

"I was waiting so long for you to ask that Mika! Yes, I'll walk home with you everyday!" Eren said with happiness.

I smiled and blushed. He had been waiting so long for this? Now I really wished I had walked home with him sooner.

"Eren, I have another question for you."

"What is it?" He looked forward.

"On the first day of school, why did you come to me? I was a complete stranger, a new student..."

"You really want to know why?"

"Why else would I ask that question?"

"Alright fine. I noticed you were new that day. And you were the only one by yourself. I thought why would such a cute girl, yes I thought you were cute from the moment I saw you, be so lonely? So I went up to you to ask that. You remember that, right?"

"Yeah I do. I told you I didn't have any friends here."

"So I introduced you to mine, because I felt so bad. You reminded me of a few years ago when I was new to this city and this school. None of my friends were here either. That's when I met Armin. He was shy and quiet at first when I found him. But he didn't have any friends either. So by chance we became friends. Best friends."

"So you felt bad when I said a few things about not having friends when I still didn't know you?"

"Yes. I didn't want you to have no friends when you just started in this school."

What he said was really emotional. It got to me, to my heart.

Eren's POV:

Mikasa began to tear up and cry. I embraced her gently. I could feel my shoulder getting wet.

"Don't cry Mika. Armin and I are your friends and we always will be here for you," I turned Mikasa around and put her on my back.

"What are you doing?" she said and snuffled.

"I'm gonna take you to my house. My dad doesn't usually get home until late at night and I don't want you to go home like this."

"Thanks Eren..." she said, resting her head on my shoulder. She was soon fast asleep, I could tell even without looking.

I carried her pass the intersection and to my house. At the door, Mikasa was still sleeping, which was really funny. I chuckled and brought her inside.
