"You don't know what Christmas is!?! You've been on the surface for two years now, and none of you have heard of CHRISTMAS!?!"

"yes, we've been saying that for ten minutes now."

"But it's CHRISTMAS!?! You have to know about Santa at least."

"HE GIVES US PRESENTS AT GYFT DAY!"

"What. Is. This. Christmas."

"It's on the twenty fifth of December, it used to be just a christian thing but now everyone does it."

"WHAT'S CHRISTIAN?"

I face palm at the lack of knowledge the monsters have, did they learn anything in the two years?

"Okay, Christianity is a subject for another time. For most people, Christmas is when you exchange gifts with friends and family to show them how much you care. You spend the whole day with them so that you can all have fun."

"So what do we do right now?"

"Okay, a question I can answer..."

I breathe in and out slowly to calm down, this is stressful. All my friends are sitting cross legged on the living room floor on the tenth of December.

"We go shopping, we get decorations for the house, we get a tree and decorate it, get ingredients for food. We do a lot of things!"

"Are pies acceptable?"

"Pies are great! Any food really."

Papyrus puts his hand up to talk but I gently push it back down.

"Yes including spaghetti."

"NYEH HEH HEH! I WILL COOK SPAGHETTI FOR CHRISTMAS!"

"I look forward to it Paps! But for today... we go shopping!"

"alright, see ya's."

He stands and heads for his room but I quickly tackle him to the ground, rolling several times before stopping and breaking apart. I jump up before Sans does and look down on him.

"Your coming too!"

"why?"

"You need to buy stuff for Christmas! I'm not letting you be lazy all day!"

"you can't make me go."

I smile as I help him up and put my face close to his, his eye lights flash in surprise.

"If you don't come I won't buy mistletoe."

"mistletoe?"

They don't know about mistletoe either? I sigh as I stand and tell the group.

"If one half of a couple finds them self under a bit of mistletoe they must stand there until the other half comes and gives them a kiss. Not a 'peck on the cheek' kiss, like an actual one."

Everyone stares at me with either confusion, or in Alphys case, worry. I shake my head and look over to Sans who has a blue tint on his cheekbones.

"So, are you coming or do we have to cross mistletoe off the list?"

I know how much he likes to kiss me, he hasn't had a girlfriend before me and he's incredibly shy of it despite loving it. He quickly runs outside and through the window I see him jumping into Papyrus' car, he's desperate.

We've been shopping for two hours now in the nearby mall, Asgore and Papyrus had to drive to Asgore's house to get a third car. We now have Papyrus' Ferari, Asgore's van and my wagon. I don't particularly like driving and so Undyne had driven my car here. 

"HUMAN, DO WE NEED MORE DECORATIONS?"

"Yeah, we need some lights to shine out the living room window. Maybe a reindeer?"

"I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL FIND THIS REINDEER FOR THE WINDOW!"

He runs off again as Undyne and Alphys walks up to me, Undyne is carrying two over sized boxes as if its a weight. 

"Hey Duska! Which car do I put these in!?!"

"Both? Your getting both!?! What are they anyway!?!"

"It's a surprise! Every gift is a surprise right?"

"I guess so... Just push down the backseats of my car then slide them in, they should fit."

"Uh... How do I do that?"

"I-I know how. I'll h-help you Undyne."

Undyne shows Alphys a large smile and they walk towards the parking lot, hopefully no one tries to stop them as they leave. Now I see Frisk, Flowey and Toriel headed my way, will I ever get time to shop?

"Duska could you please look after Flowey? Frisk wants to get him a present but doesn't want him to see it."

"Sure Toriel, if its alright with Flowey."

"Only if I can get out of this damned pot!"

I shake my head and reach my arm towards him, vines come from the pot and wrap around my arm. He pulls himself out of the pot and sits comfortably on my left shoulder.

"You don't mind me putting a hoodie over your vines do you?"

"I don't care."

I reach into my plastic bag and pull out a black hoodie I got for myself, its not as warm as Sans' but it does the job. Flowey rests against my neck and uses one his vines to put the hood over my head.

"You could have just asked me Flowey."

He doesn't answer but I smile at Frisk who's looking extremely happy that I've made friends with the once murderous plant. Toriel leads him into another store as I pick my bag up from the floor and continue searching for things to buy. Candles, books, pasta bowls, cooking pots, there are so many things but I want to find a special present for everyone. I finally reach a furniture store, maybe Asgore would like a couch chair?

"Excuse me but is your name Duska?"

I turn around to see a young women around my age talking to me, somehow knowing my name. Her hair is a curly brown along with hazel eyes, a small nose and a big smile. She's only ten or so centimetres shorter than me too, with a long yellow dress with green and red stripes to celebrate the christmas spirit.

"Um... yeah. Who are you?"

"Wow, twelve years pass and you don't even remember your best and first friend? Remember?"

She did look strikingly familiar, the way her eyes look at me only wants me to laugh.

"Heh, looking at my eyes again? Weirdo."

The memories click in place at the word 'weirdo'.

"Tianna!?!"

"There you go! It's not like i've been looking for you ever since I turned eighteen!"

"You've been looking for me!?!"

"Of course I have! I told you that i'd meet with you again! Couldn't leave you unattended with those... abilities of yours."

"SHE KNOWS!?!"

A voice screams into my ear and I throw my hood off so that the flower could see her properly.

"Flowey! Quiet down for crying out loud! Or i'll let Sans take care of you again."

"Is that a monster!?!"

Flowey smiles his 'innocent' smile as he looks at her.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey the flower! Do you want some friendliness pellets?"

"Say no, unless you want him to kill you."

"Oh come on! I was joking around!"

I laugh and put my hoodie back on and I feel his petals immediately cuddle up against my neck, he seems to be really comfortable. Tianna looks at me with amusement on her face.

"I like your friend!"

"You'll like the others too. But seriously, if he asks you again about 'friendliness pellets' just find me."

Her expression goes straight for a moment but I smile in reassurance as I drag her to where the couch chairs are. 

"So you've been busy. Getting friends and meeting possibly-murderous flowers."

"Oh, he's not 'possibly-murderous'. He once absorbed the souls of all of my friends and then tried to take mine."

I smile when I see her expression change, she looks terrified.

"Heh heh... your joking right?"

"Nope, it happened a few months ago. But he then brought them all back and put me on the verge of death. But now everything is good between us."

"Oh... wow... sounds like fun."

I laugh a little and stop to start looking for a large but comfy chair to buy for Asgore.

"You getting a lounge chair?"

"For my friend, he likes to relax as he drinks tea."

"I'd like to meet them all!"

"That's lucky since every one of them are in this one ma-"

"HUMAN! WHERE IS THE SPAGHETTI AISLE?"

Papyrus runs into me from literally nowhere but quickly jumps up and extends a hand. I grab it and he pulls me to my feet, looking strangely at Victoria.

"HELLO HUMAN! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS! WHY ARE YOU WITH MY ROOMMATE?"

"Roommate!?! You have a roommate Duska!?!"

"Yes, I have two. This is Papyrus. Papyrus this is Tianna."

"Call me Tia."

"WELL 'TIA' IT IS GOOD TO MEET YOU!"

They shake hands and Papyrus quickly turns back to me, waiting for his previous question to be answered.

"It's in the first shop on the left from the entrance. But you don't need spaghetti Paps, we have cupboards of it at home."

"I DO NOT HAVE THE CURLY ONES! AND ALSO FRISK WANTS TO SHOW ME HOW TO DO 'MACARONI' DRAWINGS AND SO I NEED THOSE TOO!"

He runs off just before I open my mouth to say that we also have those at home. Victoria giggles at my expression as he leaves our sight.

"He's funny."

I try to think of something to return her comment with but my eyes lock onto the perfect chair for Asgore. I run over to it and check the price tag.

"Gonna have to ask Sans for some money."

"Who's Sans?"

"Um..."

It takes me a second to think, I was about to say 'my second roommate' but 'boyfriend' overrides it.

"My boyfriend."

"You have a boyfriend!?!"

"Yes and i've had one other before him but... he was a mistake."

"Oh. Did he cheat on you?"

"Nah, he beat me."

"Why would you let him do that!?!"

"Because I was lonely and stupid! Anyway, he's gone and if he ever came back he would probably disappear from the face of the earth."

"That's the guy who beat your eye into mush right?"

The small whispers of Flowey surprised me but I nod to answer him, at least he didn't yell it for all to hear. A shop employee walks up to me and asks if I wish to purchase anything, I tell him that I want the beige coloured lounge chair and say that i'll use a credit card for purchase. Tianna follows me around as I buy several other items around the store and even when I purchase them with my credit card. 

"Hey uh... Duska?"

"Yeah Tia?"

Her face seems shy and it seems the question she wants to ask is slightly embarrassing.

"I uh... don't really have a place to go for Christmas. My family has all split up and no one really celebrates Christmas anymore but me..."

She seems really upset, she was adopted just before the orphanage shut down by some really nice people. It seems like it's no longer so nice.

"You can stay with us until you get a place. I have a blow up mattress that you can use in my room."

She runs into a hug with me, her face sits on my right shoulder which is lucky or she'd be crushing Flowey. I pat her back a few times before she lets go and smiles widely at me.

"You have to introduce me to everyone else!"

"Okay, just know that all of them are monsters."

"That only makes them cooler!"
