It had been a year sense Zoe was born. Since she was a goddess she grew like a normal human or mortal baby but she developed faster. She could walk now but she could not talk. In about a few months she would be able to talk. She had her mother's long auburn close to red hair and her father's deep green eyes. All in all she was a very beautiful baby and she would put any super model to shame in a few years.

Zoe was the pride and joy of both her birth parents, her other mom, her grandmothers, sister and her other big sisters. Overall she was well loved by many. At this point she was starting to already be a daddy's girl. She loved her mother's very much for that all of them could see but she was a daddy's girl at heart.

Scarlet was a great big sister and took the job very seriously. Despite her being human more than wolf now she still had some of her wolf personality. The most important part of that was pack loyalty and Zoe was part of her pack.

Right now the family was in the underworld with Sally. Sally was playing with her granddaughters and just having fun. She was really happy when she was told Artemis was pregnant. Nico and Thaila were also happy since they got more blue pancakes. If they were not gods or goddess they would weigh a lot form all the pancakes they ate since they ate them every day until Zoe was born and yet they were not sick of them for that is how powerful the pancakes are and how good they are.

Sally was really happy with her granddaughters but she wanted more grandchildren. She knew Artemis would not be ready for more children for a while. So Sally did the next logical thing she turned to Athena and started to grill her. Athena was use to this.

It had been going on since she married Percy actually since she got engaged to Percy. However the asking all the time was starting to wear on her patience. She did not want to tell this to Percy since he loved his mother but it was getting harder and harder for Athena to visit Sally.

Athena wanted to be a mother. She wanted to have children but she was scared and even more scared to tell her husband this. So for now she bared with her mother in law asking her. However tonight was different. Tonight Sally was not going to ask causally she was going to hint and ask and keep going till she got a confirmation that Athena was ready to have children.

"You just need to get pregnant already Athena." Sally said. It was this comment that finally broke her. She started to cry and she ran off and out of the Underworld. Once she was out she teleported home since she could not teleport out of the Underworld. Percy was furious and no one had ever seen him that mad before. He spoke in a deadly quite voice one that only a few had heard before. A quick note all that heard him speak that way. It was the last thing they heard expect a few friends but even they had nightmares afterwards. Nico still did form time to time being in the Underworld most likely did not help the matter.

"Mom I asked you to stop that but you did not listen. Please do not bother me again." Percy had asked his mom to stop talking about it. He did not know Athena's fears but he could sense that his mother's constant asking was upsetting Athena greatly. Artemis picked up Zoe and the four left. Once out of the Underworld they teleported home. Artemis took the girls out so Percy could speak to Athena alone. Sally was left stunned unsure what she had done.

Percy had gotten home and went to his room to find Athena on the bed and in tears. Tears were something Percy did not like. He did not like seeing them on anyone that he was close to. Seeing them on the face of his wife was something he did not like and something he would not stand for. His mom was going to pay. He would not hurt her but he would refuse to speak to her. This to his mom would be a horrible thing.

Percy gets in and pulls Athena into a hug. She latches on tightly not wanting to let him go. Percy strokes her hair in a loving manner. The gesture caused Athena to lean deeper into his embrace. She was still crying it was not hard but it was still tears and tears of pain were not something Athena ever shed at least not with others. When she cursed Medusa she cried alone in her home for example. Tears of joy she would shed sometimes in public but not many.

When she started to date Percy she did cry sometimes with him not a lot and they were mostly tears of joy. However this time her tears were pure sadness and it was breaking Percy's heart. He knew not to push Athena for she would retreat within herself and not say anything. So Percy had learned to be patient and she would speak her mind and tell him what was wrong at her own pace.

"I am scared Percy, very scared." Athena said softly after about an hour. Percy did not speak or ask the question that he wanted to ask. He knew that Athena was not ready yet. So he waited and continued to stroke her hair. After a little more time she spoke.

"I am sacred that I will be terrible mother. I was even more scared to tell you this." Athena said. Percy knew that the cat was out of the bag now and it was his turn to speak. He knew he could take his time and Athena would wait for her husband to speak. She knew he was thinking everything over carefully. He had been doing that since he was turned into a God.

"Why are you so scared? I never knew you to be this scared. If you do not want to tell me that is fine. Just please knew I am here for you and that I love you." Percy said very gently.

"I am not going to be a good mother. I am terrible mother right now. I was afraid you would regret marrying me once you found out. I was also afraid you would take your mother's side." Athena said.

"Why would you think I would regret marrying you?" Percy asked.

"You want a family that is your greatest wish. Nothing else has ever mattered to you." Athena said. Once more she was crying. After she was done Percy spoke once more.

"When Scarlet asked to be my daughter and when I married you and Artemis I got a family. I am really happy expect right now since I do not like seeing you in this much pain." Percy told his wife and he took a pause once he was done.

"As for my mother, you and Artemis, and Scarlet and Zoe are the most important people in my life and the only females that I worry about making happy. I would never take my mother's side when it comes to you." Percy said

"I know but I was scared and still am. I am a terrible mother but I want more children." Athena said.

"I beg to differ you are a fantastic mother. All of your children love you. Scarlet and Zoe love you and think you are great. When Zoe sees you her eyes light up. She loves you. Scarlet thinks you are great." Percy said and he took a pause.

"I am not saying this to tell you to have children or to convince you. I am only trying to tell you the truth, that I know you are an amazing mother." Percy said.

"I would also like to confess something. I was terrified when Scarlet asked to be my daughter. When Zoe was born I was even more terrified that I would be a terrible father. Scarlet had already lived so I figured I could not mess her up too much. Zoe I was scared I would mess up with her. To be honest I am still scared of that." Percy said.

This news surprised Athena. Percy never showed fear. When Zoe was born he took to raising her like a father would. There was no fuss no nothing from him. When he needed to get up at night to fed or change her he did without complaining at all. He took care of Zoe very well and though it all he never showed any nervousness.

Not even the first time he held Zoe, or the first time he feed her, or the first time he changed her diaper, or the first time he rocked her to sleep. He did all of that without any trouble or fear at least on the outside.

"So this whole time you have been scared?" Athena asked.

"Yes when Scarlet asked me to be my daughter I was happy and sacred. Happy since having kids is something I wanted for a long time and I figured at that point I would not have kids for a long time if at all." Percy said and Athena nodded for she understood that Percy's mind set was different before he started to date her and Artemis.

"I was scared that I would mess up but I saw the look in her eyes that I could not and would not say no." Percy said.

"When I first held Zoe in my arms I thought of all the things I would do to mess up and ruin my daughter." Percy said.

"What made you less nervous?" Athena asked.

"I knew that Zoe also had two amazing moms that loved her as much as I do. I knew that if I was doing something stupid they would tell me I was doing it." Percy said and smiled at that part. Athena also smiled at that part. However she knew that it was not as often that she had to tell Percy he was doing something stupid anymore.

"Bottom line is only when you are ready should you have children. I will not force you and no one will. I love you Athena and I always will." Percy gentle kissed her expressing how much he loved her in that one simple kiss.

"Thank you I need a few more days." Athena said.

"Take all the time you need." Percy said. Athena knowing her husband said this next.

"I think you should give your mom another chance. I am not telling you just suggesting that you do it. For now please hold me." Athena said. Percy nodded and pulled his wife close to him. She rested her head on his chest right above his heart. A short time later she had fallen asleep. Artemis came in that night and cuddled with her husband and sister who were both asleep. Percy the next morning told Artemis all of his fears and Artemis was also shocked but happy she had learned the truth.

The next morning Athena went to do what she did when she needed to clear her head. It used to be reading or some type of training. Now she still did that but she also liked to be near the ocean for it brought her peace. She always liked the ocean but having her former enemy being the king of the ocean made it hard for her to enjoy it.

She changed into her dark grey bikini and went surfing. She found that she was really good at it a few months ago when the family went surfing. She gets off and this guy tries to hit on her.

"Hay babe why not let me show you a good time?" He said. Athena was furious she wanted to blast him. However since marrying Percy she stopped her first reaction of blast first ask later. She showed her rings.

"I am happily married to a man that has shown me a wonderful time and is far better looking than you." Athena said. She got up and walked away. The guy grabbed her but she twisted out of his grip and kneed him right in the crotch. She then walked away to a private part of the beach that no one went to. She hears clapping and looking up she sees Amphitrite smiling.

"I must say Athena you did very well. Now you only come here to surf when you are with the whole family, with Percy or you are trying to figure something out. So since no one else is here I am guessing it is the last so tell me what is troubling you." Amphitrite said. So Athena told her everything that had happened.

"You should have told him that his mother was bugging you, he would have stopped seeing her." Amphitrite said. Athena sighed.

"I know but I had hoped that she would have given up and take the hint that I was not ready yet. I guessed I figured since she raised Percy she would have figured it out you know he had to get his brain form someone since it was not his father." Athena said.

"Fair enough however you wrong about being a good mother." Amphitrite said.

"The past." Athena started.

"The past when Zeus forbid any interaction between the Gods and their children does not count. Also you still helped your children. You were always there with them in sprit. Now you are an even better mother." Amphitrite said and flashed away.

Athena thought about it. Percy and Amphitrite were right. Athena was no longer afraid. She flashed to Artemis and spoke with her.

"Sister I am ready may I have tonight please?" Athena asked.

"Of course sister I am happy for you." Artemis said with a huge smile. That night Percy gets to bed to see Athena waiting for him.

"Percy tonight make love to me. I want to bear your child so please make love to me." Athena said.

"Are you sure my love?" Percy ask.

"Besides marrying you I have never been more sure of anything in my life." Athena says with determination in her eyes. Percy does make love to Athena and after a while fills her with his seed. A few days later Athena tell Percy she is pregnant. The whole family cries tears of joy at this.

It was four months later that the family was resting on the couch in the palace. Athena with her larger belly was resting on his shoulder. Artemis was doing the same thing. Zoe was cuddle on her dad's lap and Scarlet was with Lilly at his feet cuddling. Percy was gently stroking Zoe's hair.

"Percy I think you should talk to your mom." Athena said.

"Why I asked her not to upset you and she did anyway." Percy said.

"I know its just having our baby come soon I think how I wish I could talk to my mom even if it was just for five minutes. I forgive her if that makes it easier." Athena said. Percy sighed and knew his wife was right.

"Ok but if she does it again I will cut her out of my life and I mean it. I will give her the warning." Percy said. Scarlet and Lilly went to bed after saying good night. They had slept in the same bed for the past year. Percy smiled at that. Zoe was asleep so Percy carried her to her crib and put her down. He kissed her forehead and went to pick up his wives. He carried first Artemis to the bed and then Athena. Neither goddess argued when Percy carried them. It felt good to them and made them feel special and loved. Once in bed his wives cuddled up to him.

The next morning Percy spoke to his mom and made her promise to not bug his wives like that again. He did promise that he would cut her out of his life if she did it again. Sally agreed not to and things were on the path to getting better.

Five months later Athena gave birth to a little girl. She had her father's black hair and her mother's grey eyes. Her name was Metis named after Athena's mother.
