63...Such Private Things
~Michael's POV~
It's been a couple months since I asked Lisa for a divorce and the final court date is today. Also, Christian and Hope's birthday is coming up on June 10th. They're gonna be 2 years old! I can't believe it! They've already said their first words too. Christian said "Mama" and, surprisingly, Hope said "Daddy". I was so happy when Hope said "Daddy". I was overjoyed!
We've just arrived at the courthouse and me, Jedell, Rylee, and Jada all walk into the front doors. The judge comes in once we get there and he starts the whole thing. We go through everything until I finally hear those words I've been longing for.
"The divorce between Ms. Lisa Marie Presley and Mr. Michael Joseph Jackson is now final. Have a great day everyone. Court dismissed!"
I look over at Jada and she's smiling wide and beautifully. I pull her close to me and connect our lips. This kiss is so soft and sweet but so firey and passionate at the same time. We pull away and I smile down at her.
"I love you, Jada." I whisper.
"I love you more." She whispers.
"Hey! That's my line!" I giggle and she shrugs, smirking.
We all get into the limo and Bill starts driving.
"Where to, Mr. Jackson?" He asks.
"To my parents. We need to get Christian and Hope and tell Mother that I divorced Lisa." I say and he nods.
"I'm so happy she's gone!" Jedell squeals and I giggle.
"I'm pretty sure everyone is, Triple J." Jada says.
"Triple J?" Jedell giggles.
"Yeah. I've always wanted to call you that because your initials are JJJ. Jedell Janet Jackson." Jada giggles and Jedell starts laughing.
We get to my parents' and ring the doorbell.
"Hello everyone! Come on in!" Mother smiles when she opens the door.
"Hello, mother. How are you?" I ask.
"Good, thank you. How about you?" She asks.
"Good. The divorce between me and Lisa is final!" I say and she smiles.
"Well I'm glad about that!" She giggles.
We walk into the living room where Christian and Hope are playing on the floor. I smile at the sight and Hope looks over at me and smiles widely.
"Daddy!!" She screams.
"Hey, sweetheart!" I giggle.
"I-I missed you." She says with a pout.
"Aww, I missed you too, Princess." I say and kiss her forehead.
I look over at Jada and she has Christian and he's hugging her tightly.
I look at Jedell and Rylee and they look like they're really bored.
"I remember when you girls were like this with me." I giggle and they roll their eyes.
"That was a long time ago." Jedell giggles.
"But I remember you girls, especially you Jedell, would run into my arms as soon as you saw me and you'd hug me tightly and tell me how much you love and missed me. And you'd both call me Daddy." I smile.
"Those were the days." Jada giggles.
After staying a while longer, Hope and Christian start to get tired so we decide to go back to Neverland.
Once we get there, Jada and I put our almost 2 year old children down for a nap and go back downstairs and see Joshua and Tommy.
"Hey, boys." I say and they both wave at me.
"Hey, Dad." Tommy smiles.
They go into the living room with Jedell and Rylee and sit on the couch with them. Jada and I just stand in the doorway to observe them.
We watch as Rylee snuggles up against Tommy while he wraps an arm around her. Joshua and Jedell do the same thing. Jedell rests her head against Joshua's chest and he protectively wraps his arm around her.
"Remember when we were like that at their age?" Jada whispers.
"Yes." I nod.
"I miss that. I miss being that age with you. When we were just two teenagers in love and didn't worry about being lost and alone. I remember you were my whole world back then." She whispers.
"And I'm not your whole world anymore?" I joke.
"Of course you are but the kids are too. And I have more to worry about. I just wish we could be like them and not have any worries and just have each other." She sighs.
"Since we're on the subject of us, what are we?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" She frowns.
"I mean like, what are we now that I'm divorced. Like, are we dating? Are we not dating? What are we?" I ask.
"Oh. Well, I'm not quite sure, actually. You never asked me to be your girl again so I'd say we're not." She shrugs.
"Well then, Jada, will you be my girl?" I ask and she pretends to ponder and think about it.
"Hmmm." She hums.
"Pwease?" I pout playfully.
"Yes, of course, Michael! What did you think I was gonna say? No?" She giggles.
"Well, ya never know." I shrug, giggling.
"Well I said yes." She smiles.
"And I'm glad." I smile.
After a while, we all have late supper and we all go to bed.
After Jada and I are ready for bed, we crawl into the bed and I take her in my arms.
"I'm in love with a beautiful girl. I'm in love with a beautiful giiiirrrrl. It's almost like dancing and romancing in her arms. Can't you see I'm in love. I'm in looove. I'm in love. La da dee da dee da da da. Can't you see that I'm in looove. I'm in love with a beautiful girl, I'm in love with a beautiful giiiirrrrrllll." I sing to her as I stroke her hair.
She smiles widely and blushes.
"You're too romantic, Michael." She whispers.
"You bring the romance out of me." I giggle and she smiles again.
"Ahhh, yes! God, that feels sooo good!" We hear someone moan and we hear a bed creaking.
I scrunch my nose and Jada starts laughing.
"Is that Rylee and Tommy?" She laughs.
"Ew, I can't listen to this! Get me some earplugs, or something to cut my ears off! I don't care what it is, just get something to stop me from hearing my daughter moan like that!" I say and Jada snickers, getting off the bed.
She grabs her phone and earbuds and we both put one earbud in one of our ears. Jada turns the volume up all the way so we only hear the song and nothing else.
"Hold me, like the River Jordan. And I will then say to thee, you are my frieeend. Carry me, like you are my brother. Love me like a mother, will you be there?" I hear my voice sing in the earbud.
I smirk at Jada and she blushes.
I hold her close and tightly as a slow, relaxing song comes on after mine's finished and we both drift off to sleep.
-The Next Morning-
I wake up and see Jada sleeping in my arms peacefully. I caress her beautiful, angelic face and she wakes up a little bit. One of her eyes open and when she sees me, both her eyes open and a huge smile spreads across her unique features.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." I coo.
"If I'm sleeping beauty, I'll need my prince to kiss me so I can wake up." She smirks.
I kiss her lips tenderly and when we pull away, she giggles.
"So. Will you be there?" I giggle and smirk at her.
"Don't make fun of me for downloading your songs. I love that song." She giggles as she blushes.
"Is that why it was on loop until I took it off loop?" I smirk.
"Yep. I can listen to your beautiful voice sing that amazing song all day." She sighs.
"Aww." I coo.
We get up and get ready and go downstairs.
We get to the kitchen and see Jedell and Joshua sitting at the table, giggling.
"What are you two laughing at?" Jada asks.
"You didn't hear them last night?" Jedell giggles.
"Oh, we did." Jada laughs and I roll my eyes.
Jada and I walk into the living room and see Rylee and Tommy, cuddled up on the couch, watching Tv.
"You two have fun last night?" Jada snickers.
"Jadaaaa. Why would you do that? You're probably embarrassing them!" I say.
"You guys heard us, too? Oh, God." Rylee groans, covering her face.
"Sweetie, I think the people on the other side of the world heard you two." Jada laughs.
"Oh man! I'm so embarrassed!" Tommy mumbles.
"No need to be, Tommy. It's natural." I say.
"Okay." He mumbles, not making any eye contact with me or Jada.
"Just tell us one thing. Did you use protection?" Jada asks.
"Yes. We did. We're not stupid enough to just do it and not use protection at our age. Especially for our first time." Rylee says.
"Okay, good. We don't want you to get pregnant at such a young age." I say.
"And we won't. Don't worry so much! Now, can we, please, talk about something else?" Rylee sighs.
"Let's talk about those hickies." Jedell says, walking into the room with Joshua by her side.
"What?" Jada frowns.
"Shut up, brat!" Rylee shouts at Jedell as they exchange glares.
"Make me." Jedell smirks, crossing her arms.
Rylee rolls her eyes as Tommy wraps an arm around her.
"Well, at least I'm not like you. I didn't jerk off my boyfriend in the school's washrooms." Rylee smirks and Jedell gasps.
"Rylee and Tommy skipped class once and they were found in the girls changing room in the gym, making out and she was grinding on him!" Jedell shouts and Rylee glares at her.
"You swore you wouldn't tell!" Rylee gasps, jumping off the couch.
"Girls, girls! Stop fighting and stop sharing such private things!" I shout over them as they argue.
They continue arguing and yelling at each other and I can feel myself getting annoyed.
"Enough!!" I scream and they look at me wide eyed.
"I don't want this family fighting so much! I hate when people fight!" I sigh.
We then hear cries coming from Christian and Hope's room and I sigh as I leave the room.
"Now, girls." I hear Jada start talking to them as I walk upstairs to calm down my almost 2 year olds.
