Asuka's POV

I was woken by the sound of loud banging on my bedroom door. I groaned as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

"Come in!" I called out, sitting up in my bed.

The door opened the familiar tall, pale skin man known as none other than my father.

"What is it, father?" I asked, looking at him through my tired eyes.

"Did you forget that today is your first day at your new school?" My father asked with his arms crossed.

"Ugh, I don't want to," I groaned."Why couldn't I just finish my freshman year at Otogakure  high school as my old friends?" I sighed, laying back down.

"Hey, look at me," My father said, sitting down on the bed next to me."I know that you have been having a hard time making new friends since your mother died, but I'm sorry, but I have a ne job here at the Research facility," He said.

"I understand, but it won't be the same without my friends," I whispered.

"Look, it be okay? You make some new friends who you can count on to be there for you, and I help you adjust as well. Konoha is a lovely place," He said, kissing my forehead and making me smile."Now get in the shower and then come down for breakfast."

"Alright, since you are born here, maybe we can explore the place sometime."

"Yes, of course, we can, my snake Princess," He said, standing up from my bed before walking towards the bedroom door.

'Father, thank you for being there for me, especially since my mother died. You might have acted cold at times since then, but you never neglected me, even if though you were hurting just as much.' I thought, heading toward the bathroom to get showered.

Third Person's P.O.V

Orochimaru was currently in the kitchen cooking some sizzling bacon and rice since his only child Asuka enjoyed eating bacon in her rice.

As he was cutting up the bacon and putting it into the bowl of rice, he heard footsteps coming downstairs.

He glanced behind him to see his daughter walk into the kitchen wearing a blue plaid flannel shirt with rolled sleeves and purple pants along with teal boots.

"That is a nice outfit for your first day at your new school," He replied.

"Thank you felt like dressing up a bit for my first day to impress my classmates, hoping I get some friends," She replied with a nervous smile."What for breakfast?" She asked.

"Don't worry; you make some friends actually; my closest friend's nephew will be at your school," Orochimaru stated, turning back to cutting up the bacon."Also, it steamed rice with bacon just how you like it."

"That's great best breakfast for the first day of my new school," Asuka smiled, taking a seat at the table.

"Eat on up, and then brush your teeth and grab your bag, and we head off to school so we can get there early for you to grab your schedule from the principal. I think it might be my old English sensei as the principal," Orochimaru said, placing the bowl of rice and bacon down in front of his daughter.

"Understand, and this looks so good," She said, picking up the chopsticks and started eating her breakfast.

"I'm going to feed Manda and Yuki before we leave," He said, heading towards the room where the snake's habitats were set up.

Asuka was currently sitting in the passenger seat of her father's purple Toyota with golden snakes painted on the sides.

"How are you feeling now?" Orochimaru asked as he was driving to Konoha high.

"I'm still upset about it, especially my best friend, Tayuya," Asuka sighed, looking out the window.

"Hey, don't worry, you make a new best friend, and we can always go visit her and your other friends."

"You think that they will remember me?" She asked.

"Yes, of course, they, after all, you're their friend," He said, laughing."And friends, don't forget each other."

"Alright, I hope you are right because it be sad if they forget me."

"Hey, don't worry; also, we are finally here," Orochimaru said, pulling up at the school."Also, I'll pick you on up after school."

"Okay, I'll see you after school then, father," She said, hugging her father.

"I love you, snake princess. Have a good first day," He said, hugging her back.

Asuka nodded and opened the car door as she got out of the car and started walking toward the school entrance.

"You're going to be okay," Orochimaru whispered as he watched Asuka walk into the school with her down.

Asuka was walking through the hallway, trying to find the principal office to get her class schedule, when she suddenly bumped into someone and fell down on the ground.

"Sorry," She said quietly, looking down at the ground as she sat on ground, looking at the floor instead of the person who she bumped into.

"Don't worry about it. Are you okay?" A male voice asked.

'Huh? Wait a minute, he not mad at me for bumping into him?' She thought as she slowly started to look up to meet hazel eyes for of kindness.

She then got a better look at the person and noticed he was around her age with a muscular build. He has spiky hair down to his neck. Which was brown with blue bangs touching his forehead, and the back of touching his neck was also blue. He wore a grey and black sleeveless vest over a short sleeve dark blues shirt and dark blue pants. As well as a pair of black sandals.

"Yeah, I'm okay sorry for bumping into you," She said.

"It's alright; I don't think I've seen you around before," He said, helping Asuka up.

"Yeah, I recently moved to Konoha yesterday night with my father," She replied.

"I see names Sora Senju I can help you find where you need to go," Aoi said.

"That be great. Can you show me the principal office? I need to get my schedule, "She said.

"Yes, of course, my aunt is actually the principal. It used to be an old man name Sarutobi, but he retired," Aoi stated.

"That would be great," She said with a shy smile.

"Follow me then," Sora said, signaling for Asuka to follow him to the principal office.
