Later that night, most of Fitzgerald Prep's student population gathered at Cody Rhodes house for the big party. The quiet night sky filled the city as more and more people arrived at Cody's. Inside, Maryse and Miz were playing a beer pong game against Cody and Sasha. Roman was watching from the side with Carmella but neither of them seemed to be saying a word to each other. 

"Fuck yeah!" Cody said as Sasha hit the ball in one of the cups.

"Drink up." Sasha told Miz as she and Cody shared a high five. 

The song, "Drama" by AJR was playing throughout the party while Seth hit on a group of girls on the other side of the room. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were standing on each side of him, both clearing trying to impress Seth. 

In the backyard, Renee was just making her way into the party, wearing a band t-shirt and jeans. She was a little under-dressed to say the least but she didn't really care. She knew she wasn't there to impress anyone. It was only seconds after making her way inside that she saw Seth with Billie and Peyton. It was a little hard for Renee to not be intimidated by the cleavage being forced in Seth's face. She took a deep breath and tried her best to keep her composure. Luckily, she saw Carmella and headed in her direction. 

"Hey, what's up?" Renee asked. 

"Sorry girlie." Carmella told her best friend, seeing that she was a little hurt. 

"Sorry for what?" Renee tried to play it off. 

Carmella gave a sympathetic look, knowing that Renee was just putting up a front. 

"Is that full?" Renee asked as she pointed at Roman's cup of beer. 

Roman looked down and before he could answer, Renee had taken it from him. 

"Uh.." Roman let out as Renee chugged the drink down. 

It was at that moment that the music playing throughout the party changed to "Therefore I Am" Billie Eilish. It wasn't long after that heads began turning at the party. Seth's eyes followed the attention of the crowd only to find Becky making an entrance into the party.

Becky fixed her black leather jack as she locked eyes with Seth from across the room. 

I think, therefore, I am

Miz nearly froze when he saw Alexa standing behind Becky, wearing a slightly revealing dress. 

I'm not your friend or anything,

Cody himself turned to see what had caught Miz's attention, only to find Kota had joined his friends in attending the party.

After taking his cup back from Renee, Roman took a glance at the group of misfits that had just entered, quickly noticing a small brunette standing behind them. He took a closer look and realized that it was April. 

Becky let out a small smirk as Seth tried to pretend like he didn't notice her. To everyone's surprise, Becky made her way across the party and walked straight up to Seth. 

"Hi there." Becky said. 

Seth froze for a moment, seemingly at a loss for words. 

Renee watched with jealousy at Becky's confidence. 

"What do you want?" He asked with a bit of hesitance. 

"Can we talk?" Becky asked before looking Billie and Peyton up and down. "Preferably alone?"

Peyton rolled her eyes as Seth kept his eyes on Becky, thinking over what she was saying. 

"I'll make it quick." Becky assured him. 

"You've got two minutes." Seth told her. 

Sasha looked over as Seth began following Becky outside. Renee grabbed Carmella's beer and made her way to the crowd of people dancing. 

Maryse seemed to take notice of the fact that Miz couldn't take his eyes off of Alexa. 

"I'm going to go use the restroom." Maryse said as she tried to hold back her tears.

Cody shot Kota a secret smile, showing that he was grateful he came. Kota, on the other hand, didn't seem to know why he came in the first place.

"I'm going to need a drink." Kota told Alexa and April.

As Kota walked away, Alexa and April were left alone. 

"Uh.." Alexa said nervously. 

"Please tell me this is the part where we run away." April commented. 

Outside, Seth had followed Becky to a private area of Cody's lawn to talk. 

"You're down to one minute now." Seth told her. 

"I'm sorry, okay? I should have told you the truth.." Becky apologied. 

Seth looked at her in disbelief for a moment. 

"How long did you know?" Seth asked. 

"What do you mean?" Becky said.

"I mean how long did you know my mother was having an affair?" Seth repeated with a bit more aggression.

Becky paused for a moment, hesitating to continue. 

"I knew for maybe a few weeks.." Becky told him. 

"Right. And so what, you were just using that as leverage over Chancellor Banks this entire time?" Seth asked curiously.

"What? No, that's not-." Becky tried to explain. 

"Then why didn't you just tell me?" Seth asked. 

Becky stopped herself again and tried to think.

"I didn't want anyone to get hurt." Becky said truthfully. 

Seth looked into her eyes, not understanding.

"You can't even say that you didn't want me to get hurt?" Seth asked. 

"What? You're not the only one that would have gotten hurt.." Becky accidentally said out loud.

Fortunately, Seth didn't catch on to Becky's slip up.

"You expect me to believe you give a damn about the chancellor or my mother? Why is it so hard to admit that you didn't want me to get hurt?" Seth went on, not realizing the reality of the situation. 

"Wait, I thought this was about me lying to you?" Becky asked. 

Seth stood there for a moment as he tried to get a grasp on his feelings. He felt angry and hurt and sad all at the same time but he didn't know how to express it. 

"You know what?" He said a little impatiently. 

Becky waited for him to continue but he stopped himself. Seth stood their for a moment with his eyes on Becky, and her eyes on him. In that moment, Seth wasn't sure what he was feeling. 

"Here." Becky said as she puled something out of her pocket. 

"I was going to ask you to go with me." Becky said as she handed him two tickets to the masquerade ball. 

Seth looked at the tickets in confusion. 

"Take them. If you decide to forgive me then we can go but if not just keep them.. maybe Billie or Peyton will want to go with you." Becky said as she began to walk away.

"That's it? You're just going to walk away?" Seth asked her. 

"What else do you want me to do? I'm not going to walk around in misery, punishing myself because I made a mistake. All I can do is apologize and hope you forgive me.. Hope you believe that I won't lie to again." Becky told him. 

Seth couldn't tell if she was being truthful or if she really didn't care about him. 

"I hope you do forgive me though. You're a pretty cool dude." Rebecca told him as she walked back into the party.

Inside, Roman and Carmella watched Renee as she began to get a little tipsy. 

"You need to cut her off, you know she can't handle her alcohol." Roman told Carmella. 

"I know." Carmella said uncomfortably. 

That was the most the two of them had spoken to each other all night. 

"I'm going to get a refill." Roman said as he walked away from the awkward situation. 

Sasha, Cody, and Miz were waiting for Maryse to get back from the bathroom so they could finish their beer pong game. 

"Hey, Lexi!" Miz called Alexa over as she and April were a few steps away from sneaking out of the party. "Wanna play?" 

Cody seemed a little hesitant to let Alexa play but Sasha gave him a reassuring look, letting him know she approaved. 

"Um.." Alexa began to say as she appraoched the game. 

"I've never really played this before." Alexa told him. 

"That's okay, we just need someone to step in until Maryse gets back." Miz told her. 

Alexa scratched her head uncomfortably as Miz handed her a ball. 

"Just aim for a cup." Miz commetned. 

Alexa tried her best to aim but she really didn't know what to aim for. She tossed closed her eyes and threw the ball, hoping it at least went in the right direction. 

"Ow!" An innocent bystander shouted as Alexa hit him with the ping pong ball. 

She opened her eyes and gave an immediate oopsey face. 

"Oh god." Alexa said as she tried to cover her face.

Miz and Sasha let out amusing laughs.

"Maybe try with your eyes open next time." Sasha said playfully, getting a laugh out of everyone including Cody. 

While Roman was getting another beer he happened to see April attempting to hide in the corner of the room. 

"You know there's this thing called having fun.. I assume you do that?" Roman asked as he approached her. 

April turned and looked at him with disbelief. 

"Everyone has their own definitions of fun." April assured him. 

Roman let out a small laugh. 

"Okay then, what's yours?" Roman asked her. 

April Paused for a moment, just realizing she had been tricked into a conversation.

"I should go." April said as she tried to hurry away. 

"Wait, wait, wait." Roman said as he grabbed her arm, hoping to stop her. 

Instead, April turned around and slapped Roman across the face. She immediately felt bad for what she had done. Roman held his face for a moment as a few people's head turned in their direction. 

"Damn.." Roman let out. 

April quickly regretted what she had done and hurried out of the party before Roman could say anything else. He let out a laugh to himself, not believing what had just happened. 

Across the party, Carmella had witnessed the entire thing. It seemed obvious to her that something was going on between them. She tried to keep a straight face as her eyes being tearing up.

Roman made his way outside in pursuit of April.

"Where're you going?" Roman asked as he caught up with her in the driveway.

April turned around and looked at him with frustration. 

"Home." April told him. 

"You're walk all the way to the Eastside at this time of night?" Roman asked her.

"Why shouldn't I? The only thing I need to be afraid of is you and you're standing right here. So I think I'll be just fine walking." April insisted. Roman looked April up and down for a moment. 

"Okay. Maybe that's true. But you're not.. afraid of me, are you?" Roman asked her. 

April kept her eyes on him, not saying a word. 

"Or maybe you are.." Roman began to say as he took a few steps towards her. "And you just want me to think that you're not." 

April looked up at him as he now stood over her. She held her ground.

"If you're not a afraid of me then why don't you let me give you a ride home?" Roman asked her. 

April began to shake her head, realizing he was playing a game now. 

"Fine. I'd love a ride home." April assured him. 

Roman let out a proud smile to himself as he lead the way to his car. April couldn't help but roll her eyes at herself for playing into Roman's hand. 

Inside the party, Cody had been getting tired of the ping pong game. For whatever reason, the minute he saw Kota walk into his house, all he wanted to do was be with him. It didn't take long for Cody to spot Kota making his way upstairs. 

The stairway was full of people making out and talking rather loudly. Kota had made the mistake of drinking a little too quickly. Now he new he had to pee really badly but also maybe vomit. 

Sasha quickly took notice of Cody's wondering eyes. 

"I'll be right back." Cody told Sasha discretely. 

Sasha couldn't help but get a bad feeling as Cody followed in pursuit of Kenny's first love. 

"Where's he going?" Miz asked. 

Sasha hesitated. 

"Bathroom." She lied. 

"Well now we need someone to step in for him." Miz said. 

That's when Becky approached the table.

"I don't mind kicking yall's asses." Becky announced. 

Alexa and Miz let out small laughs but Sasha didn't seem to be as quick to find Becky's witting humor as charming as usual. 

On the other side of the party, Seth was looking for Billie and Peyton but it seemed the night had already taken a turn. He looked around only to find both Billie and Peyton dancing with Renee. 

"How much has she had to drink?" Seth asked as she approached Carmella.

"More than enough." Carmella told him as they watched a few guys enter the fold. 

Seth immediately felt a rush of anger come over him. Just as he began to walk towards Renee, Carmella grabbed his arm to stop him. 

"Whatever you're about to do don't do it." Carmella warned him. 

Seth gave a frustrating look.

"Let her live a little." Carmella told him. 

Suddenly, Becky got a phone call from unknown number. 

"Hello?" Becky could be heard answering the phone. "He's where?" She asked. Okay, thanks for letting me know. I'm on my way." Becky said before hanging up. 

"Rain check on the game?" Becky asked. 

"Is everything okay?" Sasha asked with a bit of concern. 

Becky looked at Sasha for a second and took a deep breath. 

"It's Kenny. Apparently he's  had a few too many and the bartender is about five minutes away from calling the police." Becky told her quietly enough that Alexa couldn't hear her. 

"What's going on?" Alexa asked curiosuly. 

"It's nothing. I have to go." Becky told her. 

"I'll go with you." Sasha said as they grabbed their things. 

Becky now looked to Miz. "Make sure she gets home okay?" She asked in reference to Alexa. 

Miz gave a reassuring nod. 

Sasha followed Becky as they rushed out of the party. 

Miz casually took a sip of his beer, seeing that now was his opening to ask Alexa about the flowers she had gotten earlier that day. 

"So what have you been up to lately?" Miz asked.

"What?" Alexa asked as an old rock song blared throughout the party 

Miz realized she couldn't hear him over the music so he stepped a little closer to her. 

"What have you been up to?" Miz asked louder. 

"Oh, no much." Alexa told him. "I've been studying for this biology exam, that's been kind of fun." 

Miz furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, not sure if he had heard her correctly. 

While Miz tried to find another way to go about the conversation with Alexa, Seth took notice of a familiar face getting a little too close to Renee. His name was Buddy Murphy and he was actually a friend of Seth's. The two of them are known pretty well known for being two of Fitzgerald Prep's most devious players. 

Carmella gave Seth a serious look, reminding him to leave the situation alone. Seth gritted his teeth and tried to keep his composure as Buddy casually started dancing behind Renee. It was clear that Renee assumed she was still dancing with Peyton. 

"Oh hell no." Seth said as he stormed off in the direction of Buddy. 

"Seth!" Carmella tried to stop him but it was too late. 

Miz and Alexa quickly realized something was going down when they saw Buddy put his hands on Renee's hips. 

"Fuck." Miz muttered under his breath. 

Seth barged straight through the small crowd of people and immediately pushed Buddy away from Renee. A few people moved out of the way as someone turned down the music. Seth got in Buddy's face, looking him dead in the eyes. 

The entire party stopped and stared at Seth and Buddy. Renee took a step back to Carmella, not realizing what was going on. Seth grabed the back of Buddy's neck rather aggressively and whipered something that no one was quite able to hear. Everyone looked around with a bit of fright as Buddy was clearly afraid of whatever Seth was telling him. Seth finally shoved Buddy away when he was done, quickly realizing that everyone was watching him. He looked over to see Renee was standing with Carmella, who was shaking her head. The room was now silent as Seth walked up to Renee. 

"Let's go." Seth told her. 

Renee just stared at him. She knew she was drunk but she knew her confusion was valid. 

"Come on. I'll get you home." Seth assured her. 

Renee took his arm with caution as he helped her walk. Carmella continued to shake her head in disapproval as Seth helped Renee out of the party. 

"Where the fuck is Cody?" Miz asked. 

Suddenly, everyone's phones buzzed. 

"So much drama and I haven't even arrived yet. Just wait for it.. this party is only getting started ;)"
