Hello everyone! This is my first ever Miraculous Fanfiction, so feedback is greatly appreciated!

An evil grin was plastered to Hawkmoth's face as he stared down at the four helpless heroes beneath him, bound and chained to the wall of his lair. How foolish had they been, getting lured into his trap. Actually, how foolish had he been? The answers had been there all along! Why had he sent out one akuma at a time, when he constantly got defeated, day after day. This time, he had sent out three, and had lured all four heroes out. Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge and Queen Bee.

"Let us go, Hawkmoth!" Ladybug shouted out, from where she was bound to the wall, unable to move a muscle. Hawkmoth just smirked wider, slowly approaching the four heroes. Queen Bee was just struggling, trying to get free from the vines tightly wrapped around her, whilst Rena Rogue was trying to reach her flute. Chat Noir was struggling against his bonds, glaring at Hawkmoth.

"You're the first to go, Ladybug!" Hawkmoth cackled softly, advancing and swiftly plucking off Ladybug's earrings, before she could react. She yelped, the bonds releasing her and letting her fall to the floor. Hawkmoth clutched her miraculous, watching as she detransformed.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" Queen Bee was the first to speak, more disgust in her voice rather than surprise. Marinette glared at her, before she quickly scrambled back, pressing her back against the wall. She covered her face with her arms, ignoring Rena Rogues choked 'Mari?'. Her head instantly shot up, and panicked, she looked around.

"Tikki?" She shouted, her voice echoing off the walls. There was a small squeak, and Marinette looked over to see Tikki sprawled out on the ground in front of Hawkmoth. "Tikki!"
She tried to rush forwards, but felt numb, unable to move. She slumped down, closing her eyes.

Chat's mind was racing. It had been her all this time! He shook his head. Concentrate, Adrien! He thought, thinking desperately for a way to escape. He knew he was next in line, and once his miraculous was taken, he would be useless.

"You next, Chat Noir" Hawkmoth smirked, moving closer to him. He kneeled, gaze locked to the ring that was on his hand, with were bound to his sides. He slipped it off, slipping it onto his own finger.

"No!" Chat's bonds also fell away, and he fell to the floor, his costume disintegrating.

"Adrikins?! Oh my god!" His head snapped up, locking on Queen Bee. Only one person called him that, and said Mari's name with such disgust. He tried to move, but he couldn't, also feeling numb.

Marinette's head had also snapped up at Queen Bee's remark, and she made a small choking sound. Wait, this means I kissed Adrien! She thought in a panick. And he's been flirting with me, and I rejected him, and, and, and... Her face was a dark crimson.
"Don't die Mari-Ladybug..." Rena Rogue coughed, before quickly looking away.

"Adrien..." Hawkmoth finally spoke, eyes showing disbelief. "My son... You were him all along." Adrien looked at Hawkmoth in utter shock, but he had turned away, wanting to now get this over and done with. "Just know that this is for us"

Hawkmoth walked over to Queen Bee, now recklessly tugging away her miraculous. The bonds dropped, and she fell to the floor with a huff. "Hey!" Adrien stiffened, staring at Chloe.
"Hey, at least you're here Adrikens!" She tried moving over, but couldn't. She growled in annoyance.

Hawkmoth wordlessly moved onto Rena Rouge, ripping away her necklace. Her bonds released her, and she fell to the ground.

"Alya! I've been working with two of the most annoying students ever! But then of course, one of the most awesome!" Chloe remarked, rolling her eyes.

Hawkmoth attached all the miraculous to him. All the kwami's lay at his feet, looking at him in horror. The numbness seemed to lift from the ex-miraculous holder's bodies, and as soon as it did, Adrien rushed over to Marinette, who let out a squeak as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to his chest. Alya also scooted over to them, pushing away Chloe as the mayor's daughter let out a huff, trying to seperate Adrien and Marinette.

Adrien tried to get up, hand in Marinette's, but fell back down almost instantly. Hawkmoth glanced over, before closing his eyes and raising his arms. There was a bright flash, bathing the room in a blinding light, then a roar. When the light died away, Gabrielle was on his knees on the floor, some scattered remains of the miraculous in front of him. Too much power, they had shattered, cracked. Some repairable, some hopelessly damaged. Some had just disappeared. Where to, no one knows.

Gabrielle clenched his fists, teeth clenched. Right then, right there, he gave up. He had been fighting against his own son, failed to bring back his lost wife, and broken the miraculous. He didn't care anymore, he just wanted to leave that place, forget anything had happened. The akumatized victims were back to normal, sitting in confusion behind him.

Adrien gently pulled Marinette to her feet, glaring at his father and the remains of the miraculous. It had been him all that time. He couldn't believe it. All this time...
