Chapter Three - Akuma Alert Activated

Jaslyn was walking through the passages to her next class, HASS, or History. It was her third day attending the school, and she would say that she was settling in quite nicely. Olive and Jasmine were walking to class with her, or was it Meg and Jasmine? No, the girl next to her had green eyes. It was Olive.

Jaslyn sighed, entering the classroom and slipping into her usual spot in the wooden booths. Olive slid in next to her, Jasmine sliding in front of them.  Suddenly there was a short pain on the back of Jaslyn's head, and she whipped around, glaring at a girl with golden brown hair done in a ponytail that flowed halfway down her back, a smirk plastered on her face.

Olive turned around when she saw her friend jolt around so suddenly, and made a small growling noise.
"Katelyn Jen, stop it."

"You don't even know what I did" The girl, Katelyn responded, the smirk still plastered to her face.

Olive clenched her fists, about to shout at the girl, when suddenly there was a loud crash outside, followed by some screaming. Suddenly alarms blared, and the teacher, Miss. McKenzie paled.

"Everyone, go home as quickly as you can. The old Akuma Alert has been set off. Go quickly, and stay safe."

As the flood of students ran to get out of the school, Olive started whisper-shouting in Jaslyn's ear, almost making her go deaf.

"The old Akuma Alarm! It hasn't been set off in years!" She gasped. "That means that there must be some more akumas! That means another Hawkmoth, which means more superheroes!"

Jaslyn only half registered what she was saying, and mildly wondered where she got all that information about akumas, and that Hawkmoth guy, and all that other information. Although she knew about them aswell... And no doubt a lot better than her.

Jasmine ran after Jaslyn as she sprinted back home. She managed to slip through a shortcut, getting there before her. She slipped through the house, brushing off her parents and walking upstairs, through the hall and going into her bedroom that was separate from Jaslyn's.

As soon as Jaslyn got home, she darted upstairs into her room after informing her parents of what had happened, and convincing them it was all fine and that she was going to do homework. She got into her room, unclipping the small pastel blue, white and pink swirled satchel. Her kwami swirled out of the bag, darting energetically in circles around her head .

"Well? Well? What are you waiting for?" The small rabbit like creature squealed. "I've explained it all! You've been going around for countless test trials, even managing not to be caught! So go!"

"I'm not to sure Bon Bon... This is a real Akuma..."

It had all started a few weeks ago, when Jaslyn had come home from running training to find a small box on her desk, not unlike ones that contained rings. She had, out of curiosity, opened it. A blinding blue, pink and white light filled the room, and she let out a small yelp, dropping the box and covering her eyes with a shield made from her arms. She peeked through them to see the light dim slightly, forming a small ball, which eventually dissipated.

There, in its place, was a small, white, bunny like creature. It was small enough to fit in the palm of her hand, and looked scruffy but soft and fluffy, all at the same time. It had long ears with small bits of fluff at the end that drooped down, almost covering her closed eyes, and a small, pom pom like tail. Long, black whiskers elongated from the creature's cheeks, drooping down towards the end, small oval like bits that smoothed into the ends.

The creature blinked open its big, baby blue eyes, looking into Jaslyn's own eyes as it's ears straightened, like a crane lifting at high speed.

"Hi." It squeaked, in a high, cute voice.

Jaslyn's reaction was normal, as normal as it can be when facing a small alien like creature. She screamed, backing up and grabbing a pillow, throwing it at it.

"Hey! Rude!" The creature dived, before spiraling back up.

Jaslyn had made herself a shield out of her remaining pillow, staring at the creature.
"Who- No, what are you"

"I'm a kwami! And will give you magical powers!"

After a lot more talking, explaining, and disbelieving squeals, Bon Bon, as she had said her name was, had managed to calm Jaslyn down, and said person was just pinning the broach that had been contained in that box, a pure silver, shimmery circular badge that reflected rainbows in the sunlight, to her chest, above her heart.

They had gone out for a practice run, narrowly avoiding being seen, as she barrelled into someone's apartment. Jaslyn had managed to scrambled back outside and close the window again before the person had looked up from their iPad.

"Jaslyn? Come on!" Bon Bon squealed, snapping the girl back to the situation at hand. She took a deep breath.

"Bon Bon, ears up!"

Bon Bon let out a happy bunny noise, swirling in the air and plummeting into the broach as she spread her arms, arching her back slightly. It flashed, sparking as pastel blue, white and pink streaks whirled around, creating a swirled, almost lollipop effect. In a small flash of light, it transported to the middle of her chest, just under her throat.

Jaslyn swiped two of fingers, formed in a 'peace sign' across her eyes, leaving a white mask in its wake, flicking them away from her face after. She brought her arms over her head, then stretching them out as a pair of rabbit ears sprung from her head. She swirled on her right foot, leveling her arms as white material spread her right, then left arm, spreading downwards. The material spread from her toes as she put down her left foot, still spinning. The two spreading materials met at her waist, a coil of pearly white ribbon hooking at her waist and small ball of fluff appearing at her tail bone. She spun in a circle once more, hands stretched out above her head, before kicking her right leg out and bringing her arms into a fighting stance.

Jaslyn, now Bunnéi, slid open the door to her small balcony, before hopping over the side and plummeting towards the street. She grabbed her ribbon, throwing it whilst holding onto the other end, watching as it wound around the lightpost.

Bunnéi looked up, eyes betraying shock as she saw another hero, dawned in a black leather suit.
