James + Deanna Wedding

The morning of Deanna's and James' wedding was a hectic one for the females especially. Natasha and Deanna were no where to be found. The rest of the group had searched the whole tower for the two female assassins as well as trying to hide the fact his fiancée was missing from James.

Two hours before the ceremony Natasha and Deanna stumbled into Deanna's bedroom, both in their hero outfits and covered in blood. "What the hell?!" Pepper exclaimed, grabbing the small blondes wrists. "What happened to you two?"

"Fury sent us on a mission last night, it got a little ugly." Natasha replied as Deanna nodded in agreement.

"You do know what day it is don't you?" Bethany asked as Pepper dragged Deanna into the bathroom to get cleaned up.

"Friday?" The blonde guessed.

"Deanna." Jane sighed.

"Yeah?"

"Deanna it's your wedding day." Sofia answered quietly.

"What?!" Deanna yelled. "Oh fuck we need to get ready! How could I forget!"

"Okay calm down and sit down!" Pepper ordered. Luckily everyone else's hairs and makeup was done so they all set to work helping the other two woman to get ready. Pepper and Beth worked on hair while Jane and Sofia added makeup to the females faces.

Two hours later the all the females stood around the corner of the aisle, hidden away from the guests (S.H.E.I.L.D Agents mainly), men of the group and Crystal. Deanna was ringing her hands around her purple rose bouquet. The small blonde bounced slightly on her low heeled shoes.

"Deanna, calm down." Bethany cooed slightly, placing her hands on top of her friends. "You'll be fine, I managed it so you can."

"But-"

"Deanna you're about to get married to?" Natasha asked with a sigh.

"James?" Deanna said questioningly.

"The love of your life?" Pepper guessed. "Because if he's not why are you marrying him?"

"Of course he's the love of my life but I don't think I'm ready for this." Deanna grumbled.

"It's just wedding jitters calm down." Bethany cooed as the music began and the others began walking down the aisle.

"Says the girl who refused to walk down the aisle at first." Deanna chuckled.

"Hold your head up high and nothing can go wrong." Bethany smiled before making her way down the aisle. After a few seconds Deanna took a deep breath and turned the corner, ready to get married.

~~~~~~
"My shoes are killing me." Deanna sighed, slipping of her heels and throwing them under the main table in the reception room.
"You've had them on for three hours maximum." Clint sighed.
"Heels and me don't mix well." Deanna shrugged, fixing her hair slightly. "And besides I can't dance in heels."
"You can't dance anyway." James chuckled, slipping his metal arm around the blondes waist and his real arm around her shoulders from behind.
"Be careful, or there'll be divorce papers in your hands before you know it." Deanna glared playfully.
"Deanna!" A voice called, causing the blonde to look away from her new husband and towards the call. Crystal was walking over to the new couple, a smile stretched across her face. The rest of the team had moved away to talk to the rest of the guests, leaving the newlyweds otherwise alone.
"Crystal!" Deanna called, slipping away from James and meeting the younger blonde halfway. Crystal was dressed in a knee length emerald coloured dress with small black heels. Her hair was pinned back elegantly with small strands of hair hanging down in there natural curls.
"Congratulations!" Crystal cheered as they pulled apart. "And to you of course James." The brunette chuckled and nodded in acknowledgement.
"Thank you, you look lovely by the way." Deanna smiled kindly.
"Thanks but you look absolutely stunning!" Crystal said grinning. Deanna smiled shyly and pushed her fringe out of her face in embarrassment. "Come on that's not the first time you've heard that today right?"
"Of course it's not." Deanna giggled. "But it still catches me off guard every time."
~~~~~~~

"Okay everyone gather round!" Tony called into the mic an hour later. Deanna slipped her heels back on and made her way over to the billionaire with a raised eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" She questioned, lifting her dress and jogging up the stairs to the stage where Tony stood. Tony turned round to face the bride and smiled brightly.

"Okay it's time for the first dance!" Tony yelled into the mic, causing everyone to cheer loudly. Deanna sighed but smiled at the billionaire. The small blonde carefully walked back down off the stage and met James, who was grinning, on the centre of the dance floor with everyone else on the side lines.

Gently the music to 'Annie's Song by John Denver' began to play from the speakers. "Can I ask you something?" James asked as he and his new wife danced around the floor. Deanna squeezed his hand to allow him to continue without looking up from his chest or opening her eyes.

"Why this song?" The brunette asked.

"It's been my favourite song since I can remember." Deanna confessed. "I've always loved it and I thought it just suited."
