Sofia blinked in the sunlight, the morning rays streaming through her bedroom window, the curtains already drawn back and window open slightly to allow a cool breeze float through the room. Sitting up the woman frowned slightly, not remembering opening the curtains or window.

A knock on the door brought Sofia from her confusion and out of the comfort of her bed. When she opened the door the blonde was greeted with two smiling faces that belonged to young women. "Morning Sofia." Bethany smiled as she and Deanna entered the room.

"Good morning. What's all this about?"

"We thought we'd spend the day with you if that's okay?" Deanna replied. "The Avengers and James are on a mission, Jane has gone to visit Darcy and Erik, Pepper has some business to take care of, all the kids are at school or nursery and we have nothing to do."

"Why didn't you go on the mission with the others?" The scientist asked, making her bed so the younger females could take a seat.

"Didn't need out help apparently." Beth shrugged. "Fury also mentioned something about not wanting to over work us after everything we went though all them years ago."

"Well that's strangely considerate of him." Sofia frowned. "And late."

"It's a rare day off." The other blonde said. "I'm taking it while I can."

"Yeah and we're still in the tower so it's not like anything will happen." Bethany added. "Hopefully."

"I can assure you nothing will happen Miss Lloyd." J.A.R.V.I.S. suddenly spoke up, causing the three women to jump. "I have the towers protections at maximum for when the children are here."

"Thank J.A.R.V.I.S!" Deanna chirped. "So what shall we do since we're all free today."

"How do you know I'm free?" Sofia asked.

"Checked your diary." The smallest in the room shrugged. "And even if you were busy you aren't now."

"Miss Donald, Miss Lloyd, Miss Chalmers." The non-bodied AI spoke up once more. "The Avengers have just returned, they seem to be a little beat up." Instantly the women jumped up and bolted out if the room and to the elevator. Seconds later they burst into the main living room where the group were treating their injuries.

"Something tells me it got ugly." Deanna said as Sofia ran over to Bruce, who had his arms wrapped around himself.

"Wouldn't say ugly." Steve replied. "Just a little out of hand."

"Are you okay?" Sofia asked, kneeling down in front of the curly haired scientist. "You look shaken."

"I-I" Everything fell quiet as the make stuttered, unsure of what to say or how to put what happened into words. Bethany and Deanna turned their heads to face the other members who shrugged idly. Frowning the youngest team members exchanged confused looks before turning back to the scientists.

"I lost control." Bruce finally said. "I couldn't help it, I let the other guy take over. I didn't think, I-"

"Bruce!" Sofia exclaimed, causing the man to stop his rambling. "It's okay, you're okay. And before you say anything I've told you this before, I'm not going to leave you because of the other guy." Everything fell into a slightly awkward silence, the rest of the Avengers watching the exchange.

"Sofia?" Bruce finally broke the silence, causing the blonde scientist to pull back from the hug she had engulfed him into.

"Yes Bruce?"

"You said you'd stay with me? Forever right?" His voice became small and scared. The woman simply nodded and raised an eyebrow in question. "Well will you stay with me forever as: Mrs Banner?" Bethany's mouth dropped open in shock and Deanna dropped the magazine she had picked up due to boredom.

"Of course I will!" Sofia exclaimed,causing the rest of the room to jump in joy and cheer.

"Just you four to go now." Clint laughed, slapping Steve and James on the back while smiling at Bethany and Deanna.

"Yeah hurry up you four! You're the odd ones out!" Tony yelled out from behind the bar, causing the people mentioned to roll their eyes. Typical day with the Avengers.
