A strange visitor with clothes as shiny as gold, and his skin were also golden visited Eragon at his mountain a few days later after he heard that Dongnaia's leaders will visit him in his mountain. The strange man's skin slowly became fair like humans and his gold eyes became brown but his cloaks were still golden. He sat on the floor and smiled at the dragon rider. Most people were intimidated by his presence and the power of the eldunari and dragons were usually making people more intimidated by them but in front of his strange visitor, he was the one kneeling down and he doesn't know why. Even Saphira and the eldunari bowed their heads before the man.

"Who are you, sir?" Eragon asked him. "Why have you visited me?"

"The elves in Alagaesia believe that there are no gods and goddesses," he said to him. "What do you think about me? You are a very powerful human being, Eragon and since you are, you have the chance to become a deity."

"Why would I do that?" screamed Eragon. "You are not a god, too! Aren't you merely a magi—"

The old man before him stared at him using his golden eyes. "You are merely a human being and very few creatures are able to talk to us. The wild dragons are gods and goddesses in their own right but a mere human destroyed them and so, through the eldunari that was saved in Vroengard, we were able to help you conquer Galbatorix. His soul is now suffering in the underworld!"

Eragon's mouth flew open but his skepticism still ruled his mind. "How can you be a god? A lot of magicians can do what you can also do! There can be no gods or goddesses! You're just a magical person that can do—"

The man before him howled in laughter as he cannot believe what Eragon told him. "We set rules for the elves, humans, dwarves, and everyone who did live in Alagaesia as they chose to stop following our orders and forget about us. The Raz'ac followed those mere humans to eat them and that's when the elves helped them become dragon riders, too. There were more dragons in Alagaesia before and not in Dongnaia but the people of Dongnaia and the other countries beyond still worship us, Eragon. You were once an elf, Eragon, and you're close to us."

Eragon hated being laughed at and so, he was about to leave him alone in his room when he saw the old man conjure up a long staff with a sun with eight rays. He lit up his whole room and also, made Saphira bow down at him when he released a warm heat from his staff. Eragon also was able to suddenly kneel before him when he saw that he wasn't truly human but a deity who do live in the spiritual realm. "Who are you, oh mighty God? Why have you chosen to visit me? The Elves told me that there can be no gods. I was merely skeptical because of how I was taught."

"You are almost a deity, Eragon since you are a very powerful human being," he said to him. "The Gods of the Dwarves and humans are real. They were my good friends."

Eragon gripped his tunic after he heard that there can be people who will worship him. "There's no way that I choose to become a vod as I want to stay human, sir. Maybe, I am very different from them but I don't want to be worshipped."

"As what you also said, Eragon, in your first life, you didn't want to be more than an elf. You passed away early and you were reincarnated as a human," he said to him. "I formally reintroduce myself and you, Eragon, the second reincarnation of the great dragon rider: Eragon The First Dragon Rider. I am Malakas, The First Human. I was created by Deuz, god of all gods, and I came out as just the most powerful human. I am also the only human with no dragon who was able to live long."

"Reincarnation? You're a god? This things confuse me so much!" Eragon told him. "How can I believe you? Care to tell me more? Show me truly that you are a god!"

"Was this your reason why you don't want to be a god? Do you really want to see my powers as a deity, Eragon Bromsson?" he asked him. "You may die even with all the Eldunari present in here if I force feed you with information."
