The Voice.

Hollypaw munched on her mouse, half-heartedly, Jaypaw had been gone since earlier that morning, and she was nervous, where was he? Especially because not even Poppytail knew where he was. Suddenly, there were uneven paw steps coming through the thorn tunnel, and her thoughts went to Jaypaw, was he limping, was he alright? Then she breathed in the scent of SandClan. Why were they here? She stood up, leaving her mouse there. Two Warriors and two apprentices padded through the tunnel. One of the apprentices were limping, they were favoring their right front paw. Then, she studied the tiny water-logged scrap of grey fur. "Jaypaw!" She yowled, running forward, the SandClan cats parted so she could help her brother limp across the clearing, he was staring blankly at the ground, but he still tripped over any little twig that came in his path. The SandClan cat's stared ahead, eyes determined.
Mistypool came running, she sniffed Jaypaw's pads, they were oozing and bleeding, Larksong, his mother, took him from the SandClan cat's she let him use her to limp across the clearing. He soon pulled away from her, but he let his whiskers brush hers.
"Bring him here!"Mistypool called, directing Larksong and her son to the medicine den.
Leafstar crawled out of the whole in the bottom of high tree, and padded towards the SandClan patrol, "What is the meaning of this?"
"Don't WoodClan teach their apprentices not to cross the border anymore?" Firepool commented tardily.
"He crossed the border!?" Hollypaw felt as if she would collapse into a gooey heap right there! How could he disregard the Warrior Code so blatantly?
"Let alone jump into raging torrents?" She threw at him once more.
"We'll be leaving now." Sunscroch dipped his head, and led his patrol out the thorn tunnel.
Hollypaw raced towards the medicine den, only to be stopped by Foxwhisker, "Come on, Hollypaw." He started towards the thorn tunnel. "Let's go hunting."
She followed him in a daze, "What was wrong with Jaypaw?" She wished she didn't have to go hunting, so she could ask him.
"What do you smell?" Foxwhisker asked, stopping right next to a pile of garlic.
She tried to take a deep breath, but the acrid scent of garlic was all she could smell, then, she caught the scent of something else. She felt like running back to camp, and never coming near here again. "F... fox!" Her pelt looked twice it's normal size.
"Yes..." He paused, before turning back to the place that their prey was buried, "I'll have to tell Leafstar about this!!"
When they finally came back through the tunnel, Hollypaw raced over to the medicine den. "Is he alright?" She whispered, when she saw him sprawled out in his nest.
Mistypool nodded, turning from her, to sort through her herbs.
Hollypaw quietly made her way to where Jaypaw was, his eyes were open, but he didn't even attempt to look at her. "Jaypaw?"
"What?" He grumbled in his usual groggy tone, still not even bothering to face her.
"What's the matter?" She sat next to him, and tucked her tail over her paws.
"Nothing." He still kept his face turned, thinking of the dream he had, had that night, he replayed it in his mind.
"Jaypaw!" He heard a sweet voice calling his name, "Jaypaw!"
"Yes, what do you want?" He called back to it, trying to see the owner of the voice, in the pitch black that surrounded him.
"Jaypaw you must hurry!" The voice was coming from the faint light, that looked very far away.
"Why?" He ran towards the light, "Where am I going?"
"You must come!" The she-cat's voice desperately pleaded with him.
"What will I do once I get there?"
"You must save us! Go towards the light! That's the only place we are safe from them!"
He felt reassured by her words, like he could run like this forever. "If I don't know what you look like, how will I know how to find you?"
"You no longer need to know people by sight... You must know them by-"
"Jaypaw!" Hollypaw interrupted his thoughts, "Why won't you look at me?"
"Don't you see?" He turned his pale blue, icy eyes to her. "I can't!"
