"Jaypaw don't worry this won't be forever." Mistypool tried to comfort him. He simply ignored her, he heard what she said to Leafstar before he left.

"Well, he hasn't responded to any of my treatments, but it's still only the first day..."

Mistypool tried again, "I believe you'll improve, even if it's not very clear I believe you'll be able to see again."

Jaypaw turned from her, "Who asked you for the pep talk?" he wanted to sleep, he always talked to Milky in his dreams and he wanted to talk to her, he curled up and fell asleep.

He blinked his eyes open and surveyed his surroundings, it felt weird to be able to see the vibrant green ferns. "W-where am I?" He started walking forward, he didn't know where he was going, usually something happened in his dreams, but he was getting nothing.

"J-Jaypaw?" Gorgepaw looked towards him, she was in a hunters crouch, and the mouse she was chasing ran away, it didn't seem to bother her. "I-it's me Gorgepaw." She blinked kindly.

"I know who you are." He replied sitting down, "Why am I in her dream? I want to talk to Milky!"

She padded towards him, "What are you doing here?" She asked, sitting in front of him.

"I'm not sure..." He looked up, there must be some reason he was here, he didn't want to be here.

"Well, Do you wanna do som-" She stopped, remembering he was blind, he could sense her thoughts.

"I can see you ya know." She flinched.

"H-how did you do that?" She blinked, "Th-that was... well..." She fumbled for words while Jaypaw tried to sort out what to do. "Let's do something fun... since you can see again!" She jumped up.

"S-something fun?" His eyebrow pricked, he hadn't done something fun since he was a kit, and even then he didn't do much.

"Yeah come on! I'll show ya!" She leapt away, her eyes glowing with happiness. Jaypaw cocked his head, not really sure if he wanted to.

"I guess she isn't giving me much of a choice." He huffed, following her, maybe this could prove to be useful for his Clan, after all, Gorgepaw wasn't that bright. He kept alert for any weaknesses that she gave away about SandClan.

"Okay." She stopped at a very large stream, there was a waterfall not far from the place they were standing. "Since we have to do something fun, let's try this." She jumped unto the rocks, water sucking at her paws, she contentedly landed on the other side.

"What? Jump across the rocks? That's your great game?" He didn't want to get wet, and that looked pointless and like a waste of time.

"No!" She yowled back at him from across the stream, "It's this!" She hurled a wet moss ball at him, "Catch!" He caught it and stared down at it.

"We're gonna play catch?" He cocked his head in confusion, he didn't like the game as a kit, but he had to admit he was a bit amused at Gorgepaw's face.

"Yes, but with rules. The moss ball may not hit the ground, if it does whoever's side it's on loses, and the other player gets a point. Also if it goes in the water whoever threw it loses a point." She flicked her tail with enthusiasm, "You ready?"

He didn't answer, he just threw it back and she jumped and caught it in the air, quickly throwing it back. He didn't expect it back that quick, he ran forward and caught it. He backed up and threw it back to her. Gorgepaw leapt forward, but the mossball didn't make it far enough, and it landed in the stream.

She smiled, "One point for me!" She pulled out more moss, then, she was throwing another ball across the stream.

He caught it, determined not to lose, he threw it again, only this time, instead of throwing it to her, he threw it far to her left. She jumped to catch it, but it slipped through her claws. she looked at the ball, a disappointed look on her face, she turned to Jaypaw, he could feel the disappointment coming off her, but a smug smile lit his face. She whipped it back towards him, and he jumped forward to catch it, but the ground fell out from under him, and Gorgepaw stared in horror, as blackness engulfed them.
