~Boss Cass’s lair~

“KARI GET IN HERE NOW!!!!!!” Boss Cass yelled at the top of his lungs… I have been getting a LOT of missions lately… Ever since Sly left I had to go through a lot as well, like this electric collar that replaced my cat bell so I obey and stay with Boss Cass and not leave like Sly did. Trust me I have tried and it hurts!! It’s not easy but I try to put up with it. I fought with Ty and his friends a few thousand times, against my will I might add, cause of this stupid thing. ARGH! WHEN I GET THE CHANCE TO BOLT I’M GONE!!! I hate doing Boss Cass’s stupid dirty work for him!!!! But, he does house and feed me… ugh! I’m torn on this… I’ll try again with my Robo-bug, Flare to get this collar off, and go try to be on the good guy’s side... (A/N Flare is a girl. she’s a pretty small lady bug that gathers info and helps Kari when needed. Also Flare is Kari’s only friend. Sly and Kari were friends until he left.)  I just hope they understand and except me for the freak I am… OH’s I’m Kari the cat… um let’s see I’m all white, with two fluffy white tails, my left ear is torn at the tip, I have a scar on my right arm from when I was a baby, my eyes are blood-ruby red, I have a birth mark in the shape of a crescent moon. My usual work attire is a black T-shirt, a pair of black pants, black finger less gloves, my blue contactor watch so I can call Flare if I need to, and my electrical collar is black… But when I get outta here I’m wearin’ a denim vest, denim kakis, blue finger less gloves, my red cat bell, a sort-of short shirt that’s blue with a gold-ish picture of a boomerang in the middle (A/N the shirt is like Shazza’s),  some blue wrist bands, and I’m keeping my contactor watch (A/N FCW for short). My ‘rang of choice is the mimic-rang which mimic’s anything and ‘memorize’ it!!... Well I don’t wanna get zapped so I should get going to see what Boss Cass wants—I rushed down a few halls turned right then left a sharp left then strait, right then strait the rest of the way.

“Yes sir, what do you need?” I asked in a respectful tone that was forced. But Boss Cass didn’t seem to notice

“Fluffy has… just left for the good side… so you get more missions. Now I need you to go and get this for me,” He handed me a picture “That is a rare mineral. Our scientist, Karlos, needs it to make a new-more upgraded Uberfrills. Now get going!!” Boss Cass demanded and I went off.  

~Walk in the park~ (A/N ok people who know what TY is… and people who don’t… I’ll have level names from the 3 TY games as places… I’ll just put the level name cuz it’s easier… derp ) 

Something didn’t feel right... I felt like I was being watched. So I called Flare to make sure. “Yo, Flare… I need eyes in the sky! Go!... um… please…” I heard a few beeps then  

“All right… I’ll be there in a jiffy snow worries!” (A/N <-- ha-ha ‘snow worries’ pun! :P ) And as soon as the reply was made my watch showed a bird’s eye of me and my surroundings, so I slowed to a stop, looked up, smiled, waved at Flare who waved back in return and kept going. Soon my watch started to bleep in alarm when I approached the mineral…Bbut NOT because I found it… It was bush rescue... oh man, oh man! I don’t wanna fight! I don’t!! But I guess I have to… I sighed   “Flare I need you to get ready for evasive maneuver Sc3.” I started for my mimic-rang “ready? Three---“ I heard some footsteps “---Two---“ I heard some skids in the distance “---one---“ everything was still and quiet… go time! “---NOW!!!” Flare sent out small Nano-Bot-Bugs as a distraction while I went for the mineral. The NBB’s kept bush rescue busy for a good five minutes, MORE than enough time to get a safe distance, but I heard someone in the trees

“KARI!!! STOP!!!!”  It was Sly! Oh-no! What do I do?! If I talk to Sly I might get shocked cause I was wasting time!

‘Grr!!! Don’t stop, just keep running! He’ll run outta steam soon!’  I kept thinking to myself. But, that didn’t stop him from using HIS ‘rangs! I kept running. Dodging as many throws as I could. But I soon got hit and fell flat on my face. Sly jumped down from a tree and approached me   ‘Crud!!’ I thought ‘Boss Cass will shock me if I’m late this time!’ I growled and got up slowly.   “Sly, I don’t wanna do this… but you leave me no choice…” I quickly grabbed my mimic-rang and threw it at him “FLARE NOW!!!” Flare nodded and sent a swarm of NBB’s to distract Sly so I could grab my ‘rang and run without being shocked.

“Kari… why didn’t you talk to him? I mean you two were friends… I think you two still are!” Flare slowly fluttered next to my while I ran back to Cass

“Cause I would have wasted time I should use to PREVENT from getting shocked!”  

~Back at the lair~

I plopped in my bed and sighed…   “Yo, Flare… you wanna try that whole breakin free thing? Or do you give up?” I‘ve had it! I want out of this!... but I keep getting crushed when it doesn’t work out… I have been trying to break out of this ‘prison’ for years! YEARS!!!! And not once have I come close… it seems kind-of hopeless now… I guess I’ll work for Boss Cass ‘til he dies… or ‘til I die! Whichever comes first… I felt a slap slid across my face  

“NO WAY! KARI, THEE KARI, IS GIVING IN TO CASS! I DON’T THINK SO MISSY! NOW SIT UP!!!” I shot up at my friends words “don’t worry… I have a plan!” Flare sent some NBB’s in my electric collar to crack it open and get me free, then she sent some more to shut off the security systems on her signal if and when the collar was off.

~After a while~

I heard a snap from my collar! “F-Flare did-did you hear that?!” she nodded and gave the signal to the other team of NBB’s to shut off the security for about five minutes.

“Let’s move! Here!” she tossed me a bag of stuff she packed before hand

“Flare you—“Flare interrupted with a nod telling me that she knew this would happen. I smirked saying ‘thanks.’ Then ran off as fast as I could to New Burramdgee to talk to the Bush Rescue people, I hope they understand I didn’t want to do what I did… but just in case I brought the remains of the electric collar as proof, in the bag that Flare gave me… “I’m free! And I’m gonna have revenge on Boss Cass for what he did!!!!” Flare grinned

“ME TOO!! But first, let’s focus on getting to New Burramdgee and talking to bush rescue about this whole thing… ok? One step at a time!” she fluttered and landed on my shoulder

“All right, one step at a time!”  I ran until the sun had set completely under the mountains.

“Let’s stop and make camp here ok? We will keep going in the morning…” Flare stretches her little metal arms. I sighed.

“Ok… we’ll continue in the morning… May you set up some NBB’s around to keep watch?” I climbed in to a tree and Flare nodded. She sent four teams of Nano-Bot-Bugs around the tree so we felt safe… And soon we drifted off to a long needed comforting sleep.
