|Prologue|

I tripped.

Again...

No, not because I'm careless. Literally, I am. And it's not because I am negligent or reckless, probably distracted or something. I would have preferred to call it my 'bad hair day' but unfortunately, it's certainly not because of that.

Oh, you still wanna know why? Well it's simple.

Apparently, I, Isabella Moore, a normal high school introvert, happens to be an out cast in a world full of the rich, popular and famous.

I know, It's sounds crazily stupid and overwhelming for an ordinary girl like me and each time I have a vague recollection of my unfortunate and pitiless life, I just feel like I am intruding into an already perfect world. Indeed, my being here was the gravest mistake ever.

Have you ever felt this way?

When literally you seem useless to everyone and you feel all you ever did was cause troubles and pain to the people you love? Have you felt like you are just a burden to everyone around you? And even when you try to make things right, you just end up making things worse and eventually, everything comes into a bad sticky end? Just like adding more pepper to an already damaged injury?

Well, it turns out, I have. And by the way, welcome to my utterly boring and miserable world. One that is likely to come to an end, or should I say the only wish I have been looking forward to ever since my unfortunate existence in Blairwood high.

Apparently, I happen to be invisible and I have only been seen and used as an item for bullying and mockery. Trust me, a girl like me wouldn't just sit there and watch those imbeciles do whatever they like to me, but there's a saying, 'You can't simply change someone who doesn't see any thing wrong in their actions.' Failing to realize this, I have finally overstepped my boundaries.

I sat there on the floor of the school hallway and watched in awe as the students passed by, all taking turns in stepping over my already ruined notes and books. Some even had the guts to rip them apart, leaving behind shreds for me to submit as an assignment. While others threw the crumpled papers mockingly at me, all whispering and saying hurtful words about me, ironically, just enough for me to hear them.

I have been accused for literally a crime I didn't commit.

They called me a whore, a cheat and most of all a nerd who doesn't seem to know her place or where she belongs. True, I don't belong here. I never did.

The least I could do was keep stretching forth my arms, hopelessly aiming for an insourmontable goal since my belongings 'magically' went far and father away from me and numerous unknown foots 'miraculously' kept sprouting out of no where, getting in my way each and every time, granting me more falls or trips. Once again, I ironically feel more than grateful
to Karma for letting me come across the worst mishap that could ever happen to anyone.

I sat there on the marble floor cynically waiting and enduring the unforgivable pains and bullying. Hours and hours passed by and eventually, the hallway transformed into a wall of silence. It's deafening silence similar to that of tranquility; a dead silent grave yard.

Indeed, a once in a life time opportunity to let out all the pains and sorrows I have kept inside of me. A time to cry out loud and raise all sorts of curses and harsh words to those who had offended me and caused me pains and anguish.

But no, I didn't.

Not because of the terror and fright of actually letting people see me this way, possibly someone behind me, watching to know what my reactions would turn out to be. Tell you what? I didn't give a damn if that actually happened.

Or because of the dumb promise I made myself; never to cry no matter what happens. Oh please! I have brokeN that vow a million times.

All this was just for one reason.

Him.

My only hope to relief and happiness. The only charm to sprout out smiles out of my face, turn the tears to that of joy and make me feel better about myself. Just as long as he believed I didn't do it, then I had no cause to cry or let out any of my pains.

My past one week has been an horror story and as far as I can remember, getting bullied was always my daily routine. Morning, Day and night. And all through, he wasn't there to save me like I always knew he would. But today being the last day of the week, I knew he'd come.

I walked into my English class, and as usual my whole concentration on nothing exactly. Rather, I looked down to the ground, sat on an empty seat in the middle of the class and immediately brought out my books, ready for the first class of the day. But as I raised up my head, I realized the whole class started to leave, and soon, I was left behind as the only student in a vacant room.

I simply shrugged and faced the disappointed teacher who only shook her head in response and darted out of the class like the others. Just great. Now, I'm not only denied of my freedom of liberty but education as well. Either way, I didn't care. As long as he believed me. I had faith that all this pain would soon pave away.

Finally, it was the end of school. My only chance to see him. Hopefully, I darted out of the empty library. I had spent the whole day there since I belonged there anyway. I walked out towards the school premises, and waited all day till he finished practice just in time to see him like I planned. After waiting for hours and still no sign of him, I gave up for another time. Even if I had to wait forever, I wouldn't mind.

But just as soon as I was about to leave for the exit of the school, I bumped into someone, hitting my head slightly on his hard chest. Instantly, I looked up only to meet up with the one I had been longing to see.

Exuberantly, my face automatically turned into a small sharp smile. I was in a total state of relief. Just as if all the heavy burden had been lifted off me. But ever so slightly, all the sudden ecstasy faded away.

The hard expression on his face cut me off guard, wearing off the former hopeful smiles off my face, drastically. I frowned, noticing the hurtful glares he shot at me.

That was when it dawned on me. Nothing lasts forever and even does you love and cherish will eventually disappear, leaving behind pains for you to bare alone.

"You believe me, right?" I started in a shaky voice, forcing the tears from coming. I still had the misconception that, there was still hope, maybe.

"....I don't actually give a damn about what people think or say about me. I wouldn't care at all, except...as long as you are still on my side. And as long as you still believe me." I uttered the words with an heavy heart, my whole body, throbbing in fear of losing him. But soon, all my worries and anxiety were gone.

"I'm sorry." And just as soon as he blurted out those words, he walked out on me and left the scene leaving me entirely speechless.

I couldn't cry, the tear brimmed my eyes but not one drop left off my eyelids. Instead, I fell to my knees on the cold cracked stone ground and closed my eyes hopelessly downhearted.

But then, my thoughts were interrupted by a few drops of rain falling from the sky, and that was when my decision was made.

I screamed up at the sky cursing all those who forced me to live. I waited for more drops to come, a reason I should stay alive in a world where I am obviously not wanted. I stared at the sky once again and begged for a new end.

A new end to start afresh. To start a New Beginning. Well, this is the story of my life....
