Chapter 10
"Death twitches my ear;
'Live,' he says...
'I'm coming."
- Virgil
CORA'S POV:
Training started at eight in the morning.
I dressed into the robe that was placed in the wardrobe, and fastened my Lightsaber in the holster.
Damñ it felt good to have my Saber back, it fueled me, and made me feel empowered.
After pulling on a pair of boots, and pulling my hair up, I walked to Kylo's room, which coincidentally...was next to mine.
He was outside the door before I knocked.
His dark hair looked sleep ridden, his eyes looked lighter from a good nights sleep, he wore the same robe as mine, his saber already in place.
Giving my training attire a once over, he nodded in approval, before walking to wherever the training rooms were.
We passed many Stormtroopers, all of them in which bowed there heads to us as we passed.
Oh that's right. I'm a Lord aboard this ship.
We came to a massive room, with hard flooring, and beams spread along the ceilings, and walls.
Matts were placed along the borders of the walls, and weapon tables were in every corner.
"Since I am not your master, and you are already trained. We will work on enhancing your already present skills."
I nodded and crossed my arms in front of me.
"Let's start hand-to-hand." He said as he put his saber down.
I followed his lead, and faced him.
He was the first to strike, making an attempt to slash me with his forearm, and I dogged.
Sliding under him, I made an attempt to strike his neck from the back.
But he was faster than I thought, he spun around, and grabbed my wrists.
"You need to anticipate you opponents moves. When he's two steps ahead of you, you are four."
I tried to pull out, but his grip remained strong.
I closed my eyes, used the force, and looked up to see a beam falling.
He looked up in surprise, and I used that to my advantage as I flung backwards, landing gracefully as he dodged the falling beam.
Cheating. I heard him mutter into my head.
That's how you win. I said back and yelled out before I attacked him full-on.
I felt a pain in my side as he slashed me, and kicked me until I fell to my knees.
His hair was in front of his eyes as he looked at me, blowing a strand away, he lectured.
"Your skills are all though impressive, you lack tactics. Although you use strategies and tactics, you have a bad habit of acting upon rage."
I stood up, and he continued.
"You are most powerful when you are most silent. People never expect silence. They expect words, motion, defense, offense, back and forth. They expect to leap into the battle. They are ready, fists up, weapons drawn, and anger boiling. They are ready for a fight.
But Silence? No."
He came at me again, and I stepped aside, kneeing him, and striking at his neck.
Grabbing my waist he flung me to his side, I slid across the slippery floor, and my side slammed into the wall.
Pain shot up my spine, but I ignored it, and walked over to him, my anger was rising, and I would use it to my advantage.
"You are light. Your weight is used to my edge, and and my supremacy."
I raised an eyebrow.
His supremacy? This cockÿ baśtard.
"You cannot let them get a chance to overpower you. Mentally and skillfully, you have an advantage. But when it comes to pure physical aspects...I am afraid you are at a loss."
Get your Lightsaber.
I held my hand out, and seconds later, I felt the strong material in my palm.
It felt good.
The red beam bled out the second it came in contact with my hand. My Saber sensed my anger, my rage, and my sense to fight. It knew that it was about to go into battle.
Kylo crossed the room, his almost cross like saber flung into his hands, the red illuminating onto his face.
It was clear that he was attractive, there was that dark sense of beauty that he possessed.
He had his dark, almost shaggy, hair, swirly, clouded brown eyes, and his pale skin that perfectly reflected the red radiation of the saber.
He was tall, and muscular, but not bulky.
It was hard not to noticed his good looking features.
Am I distracting you, Cora? His dark voice came.
I almost laughed at his cockiness.
Just the opposite, Ren.
When our blades collided, it reminded me of that time is Basteel, just a few days ago, when our now joined forces, were opposing.
Red upon red, and the noise our Sabers made was soothing and powering to my ears.
I was more experienced when it came to handling a Lightsaber, but he was still a rather worthy opponent.
I was on defense currently, he preferred striking up and to the left.
Raising my elbows above my shoulders, I blocked his strikes from behind.
With a final slash, his Saber fell from his hands and I pressed the end of my saber inches from his neck.
"Boom. You're dead." I said with an almost smile.
He looked up at me, a look of appreciation crossed his face as he nodded, excepting his saber defeat.
I retracted my blade, and reluctantly held out my hand for him to take.
Raising an eyebrow he grasped my unnecessary hand, and stood up.
"You are good, your skills are impressive."
"Well when you spend your entire life doing the same thing, you tend to be good at it."
He nodded, and I wiped a bead of sweat that had formed at my hairline.
He gave me one last look before sitting down, and motioned for me to do the same.
"We must find Luke Skywalker. But first, we have to enhance the name of the first order."
"How?" I asked as I took a sip of water.
"Planets know the name of the first order, but they really need to fear us."
I nodded, when I was with the Sith that's exactly what I was doing.
I was spreading the name of the Sith as well as the name of the new lord. Lord Drakon.
I could continue what I was doing, only enhancing the name of the new dark side I was on.
They will all fear the First order, they will fear the name Lord Drakon.
I would make sure of it.
"I think you need to meet someone." He spoke slowly.
I glanced at him, he was staring through me intently,
I shifted, "Who?"
He turned the tables by offering me his hand.
"Snoke." He said as he helped me up, his large hand enclosing mine.
"Your new Supreme leader." He said as he led me out of the rooms, and only after we began walking, did I notice that I had been holding his hand the entire time.
I was holding Kylo Ren's hand, and the thing that pïssed me off was, that I didn't mind...
