Soarin's POV

I paced back and forth in my room. Its been a month since I've read her journal and well, things have been pretty diffirent between me and Rainbow. Eversince I've accepted my 'feelings' for Rainbowdash, I've been stuttering around her, ruder, meaner, more annoying to her then before, but makes up for it by smooth talking her and telling her jokes. I've also been easily jelouse and irritated whenever another guy would flirt with her. And I would feel much much better after I'd see them getting a punch in thr eye by my princess.

I've noticed Quibble's been, quiet lately. Maybe plotting his next move on Rainbowdash?

My phone buzzed.

Rainbowdash: Hey Soarin any luck finding my Journal? Wanna hang out after lunch?😊

PrettyboySoaring: Yea good news I've found it, I'll return it to you straight away, wanna meet up at the lake behind the school?

Rainbowdash: Cool. Did u by any chance read my journal????? Cuz if u did Imma gunna kill you

She snickered at her threat. She's so cute whenever she tries to scare me.

Rainbowdash's POV

"You're the missing piece I need the song inside of me...I need to find you, I gotta find you!"

I sang. But then I had an idea!

I took out my song book and wrote

I smiled. Combining mine and Soarins songs made it an epic song! What if I show it to Soar? Maybe he'll like it. But, wait, why all of a sudden am I thinking Soarin's options are something I realy realy realy wanna hear and prefer?

I hid my song book in my bag and prepared to meet him.

"Where are you going Rainbowdash?" the little squirt  asked. "Just meeting a friend" I asnwered. She smirked. "Who Soarin? Don't you mean boyfriend?" She teased. I tensed and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Just friends, just friends, just friends, just friends, just friends" I thought repeatedly in my head.

"Or you want him more--"

"Thats it! Ok bye bye laters!" I cutt off my sister and ran off to the school. Even though its saturday and its probably closed. But, I'm not going inside. I'm going around it to the lake.

PrettyboySoaring: You ok?

Rainbowdash: 'course I'm ok, what do you think could be wrong?

PrettyboySoaring: Nothing

Ok Soarin's been acting weird lately, whats going on?

I shrugged it off and decided to head there quickly, also I got an idea for winning the musical showcase, maybe me and Soarin can dona duet? We'll sing my song that I combined with his, sure hopes it'll sound good.

I arrived there in exactly ten minutes and headed straight for our spot.

When I arrived I saw Soarin strumming his guitar. He looked up and smiled when he saw me. "Hey" He greeted putting it down. "Hi" I replied and sat down next to him.

He took out my notebook from his bag and handed it to me. I flipped through the pages casting Soar a suspicious look. "Sure ya didn't read it?" I asked. He gulped and nodded. I smiled. "Good" I said in relief. "By the way, I wrote a new song, well sort of. I combined my song with your song and I thought It'll be more fun and a hundred percent more awesome chance of winning if we sing together! If...you don't mind" I told him.

"Um, can I hear it first?" I nodded nd handed him a copy. He scanned it, humming the tune and then looked at me surprised. "This is great! And besides, I'm sure that winning isn't your only motive for wanting to do a duet with me princess" He teased and swung an arm around me. I rolled my eyes, cheeks just a teensy tiny bit red and slapped his arm off me. "Knock it off" I scolded playfuly.

"Alright alright, you're the boss princess" He said laughing.

Then he began strumming his guitar and singing a song. "Here's a song for you again princess" He sais smirking. I chuckled rolling my eyes. A song for me? Again? "Alright lets hear it" I gaved in

"Whoa" I said amazed. "That was awesome" I commented. He grinned cheekily. "Thanks, but I doubt thay song will sell" He said.

I raised a brow. "Well...I do know one girl who'll totaly buy that song" I told him pointing to me.

He chuckled. We locked gazes for a while and blocked out all the noise. His green eyes bore deeply into my magenta eyes.

"Rainbow?"

"Hmm?" We, well me, didn't realized how close our faces were from each other.

"I think your...I think...I think your great" He stuttered out. I smiled. Them he leaned even closer and I tilted my head further.

"Uh what are you doing?"

He opened his eyes and coughed. "Uh nothing just just, stretching,yup just stretching" He nervously chukled.

I smiled. "Is it,  bad thing you remind me a little bit about Quibble?" I asked. He frowned.

"Why?"

"Not in a bad way but, more in the good sides" I sighed. He was still confused. "Why again?"

"You're...funny, smart, talented--"

"Handsome? Or better looking?" He smirked again. I rolled my eyes. "Better looking yea I admit" I admitted avoiding his gaze. "But, what he lacks that you have is kindess, loyalty, your a good prankster, you're always there for me when I need you the most, you're there when a friend's in need(A/N: A true true friend helps a friend in need! Sorry jusy randomely burst into song) and....you're, sooo full of surprises"I told him.

He smiled a little.

"Thanks princes"

Where did those fan girls came from?!

"Run!" Soarin yelled, grabbing my hand and literaly dragging me with him somewhere.

"I hate fan girls!" He yelled annoyed and we continuee to run and run and run and run and ruuuuuuun until our feets can't carry us anymore.

Stupidly, I tripped, landing on top of him behind a thick bush of roses that mercifuly it didn't had any thorns. Wait then they're not roses then?

"Shush shush!" I shushed Soarin still on top of him.

We can hear the fangirls nearby.

"Where'd he go?"

"I think he went that way" 

We waited until we were sure they were gone. "Is the cost clear?" He asked. I nodded and got off of him and we went to the lake to get our stuff back.

Soarin's POV

Gosh darn it! Those fan girls ruined everything! And I almost kissed her. Ah well, I'll try again next time.

Me and Dashie bid good bye and went to our own houses right across the street.

I went to my room, and layes in my bed. But the I stood up, opened my window, amd saw her playing a piano on her balcony singing her angelic voice

I wish I could have her. But reality check, I can't. I have everything except for the girl I love. Well, somethings are realy best to earn for.

A/N: Ok so I am having truables with this story and also gosh I'm getting frustrated because one: the exams are nearing and two: I'm loosing inspiration and ideas! Please comment for ideas! But for now I'll use that idea CatsRuleForever commented down a while back. Thank you for the idea! You know you are a big help I just can't believe I didn't wrote down your suggestion sooner well uh I'll write it down now for the next chapter
