Narrarator's POV

Dash was shook violently awake very early the next day by her mother. "Get up" She ordered and draf her daughter down stairs where breakfast was being served. Scootalou was looking down on her plate and wasn't speaking. Dash furrowed a brow and sat down next to her sister.

Scootalou turned away not to face her.

"Squirt. Whats wrong?" She asked gently. Her mother glared at them both while their father kept silent. Dash forced her sister to face her and gaspes in horror and anger. There was a bruise on Scootalou's cheek and a black eye.

"I have often told you two darlings multiple times. Naughty children deserves to be punished" Their mother reminded.

"You're sick" Dash thought.

******Time skip

"We'll be picking you up after school" Rainbow's mom said sternly and droved away.

Rainbow held her sister's hand and they walked inside the school. Scootalou kept her head down the whole time. "Howdy Scootalou!" Applebloom greeted her best friend. She gasped when she saw her face.

"W-whats wrong? What happened?" Applebloom asked concerned.

Rainbow whispered to Applebloom the situation and told her to never tell anyone because it might get them in trauble and Scootalou might get an even more beating. Everyone had a weakness. And hers was Scootalou. Seeing her hurt, makes Dash feel hurt too.

"Ok miss" Applebloom said and escorted Scootalou to their classroon. Rainbow took out the necklace Scootalou made for her and put it on.

"What the hell am I gonna do now?" She said out loud.

"You ok Dash?"

She spun around to meet the gaze of Soarin.

"Hi" She said blankly and walked pass him. Soarin was confused as to why she was avoiding him. Again.

"Whats wrong?" He asked trying to catch up to the rainbownette. "Nothing's wrong" Dash said dissmisively. "You ca 't fool me Dashie" Soarin teased.

"Stop calling me Dashie! And stop pestering me, bothering me, I would appreciate it if you would just LEAVE ME alone! Ever since you came into my life all you've done is nothing but trauble, ans you pester me so much! Mind your own bussness would ya?! You have your own life to deal with don't you?" Rainbow scolded. She was so angry and stressed she took it all out on Soarin.

"Aaaaaand I would realy realy realy throw a party if it happens thay YOU MOVE TO ANOTHER PLANET IN ANOTHER GALAXY!" Dash finnished with an irritated yell.

Soarin stood there letting her vent all her anger and frustration out on him(because thats how much of a gentleman he is!) with his arms crossed and his lips in a straight line.

"W-well?! Aren't gonna say anything you big hoe?!!!!"

Soarin didn't responded. Instinctively, Dash tried to punch him, but Soarin grabbed her by the wrist and she stared at him, stress and confusion clearly showing in her face.

Then with one swift move she was picked up from the ground and carried outside to the lake under the shade of the big willow tree.

He dumped her(literaly) there and she groaned and rubbed her butt. "Soarin! What the hell?!" She cussed.

"Do what I'll tell you to do, take a deep breath" He instrtucted.

Dash rolled her eyes but did so.

"And let it out"

She let it out. He sat down beside her. "Tell me whats wrong Rainbow" He said firmly. "Why do you care?" she snapped.

"Just tell me!" Soarin said with a groan.

Rainbow sighed. "Its....my little sister. She's...my mom and dad are...they love her very much. They love her more then they love me but she sides with me a bit too often. She always takes my side and takes the blame on anything wrong that I do. Then, one night I heard things being thrown from the other room. But I ignored it. I heard.....I heard...S-Scootalou scream! But...I didn't do anything" She said slowly breaking into tears.

"The next morning I found out they beated her up for all the times she's kinda chosed me over them. And...." She couldn't finnish. Soarin finnaly noticed she was wearing a love sleeved shirt and pulled up her sleeves revealing cuts.

"Cutting yourself won't help Dash, it'll only make things worse" He pointed out. Rainbow sighed. "I don't know what to do. They weren't always like this....When I was younger they loved me so much. I just....I just realy want them to be proud of me, they get realy mad when I dissapont them. And they--Yea their my folks. So I know they love me. In their own way" Dash sighed. "There is no parent, who will NOT love their own child"

"Well some might" Soarin thought bitterly thinking of his dad.

"Rainbowdash, I want you to listen to me. Everytime you feel scared, or sad, just talk to me ok? And everytime you feel angry, stressed and irritated, vent it all on me ok? I can take it" Soarin advised.

"You mean to say you'll let me punch you in the face?" Dash said excitedly.

Soarin gulped. "Well uh...not always ok?" He said. Dash smirked. "Fine" She said punching him by the shoulder. "ow!' He groaned. Rainbow smiled and stood up staring at the cool lake. "Should we get in?" She asked.

"Wait what? Its freezing!"

"Thats why I'm going in while wearing clothes" She snapped and then jumped into the cold lake. Soarin shook his head while laughing. "Man you realy inasane for this rainbow girl" he thought and then jumped into the water with her.

They splashed cold water into each other's faces and shared good laughs.

"You're gonna regret that!" Dash warned laughing.

"Oh yea?" Soarin askes in a mocking tone as he splashed Dash again.

Twenty minutes later, they were now floating around the lake side by side, looking up at the cloudy blue sky.

They didn't bothered to go to class now. They'll just go to their afternoon classes once they got new dry clothes.

"Hey we should realy get back" Rainbow said with a sigh. Soarin looking just a little dissapointed but smirked. "Race you back to the surface!" He challenged and swam ahead of her.

"No fair!" Dash said annoyed and swam after him.

"I win!" Soarin boasted. Dash just rolles her eyes. "Puh-lease, I went easy on ya" She said and Soarin pulled her up.

They grinned cheekily at each other and took a few deep breathings. Silence engulfed them. Soarin's emerald green eyes stared deepyly into Rainbow's magenta eyes.

"What is going on? This isn't good, look away! Look at something else!" Dash's thoughts screamed in her head.

"Oh look at that squirrel, thats interesting right?"

Soarin slowly began to lean closer ans Dash started to sweat. "Don't just stand there like an idiot do something!"

And she DID do something. She leaned closer too.

"No! You have a reputation to protect! You're awesome! You're cool, you are so not into cliche momments and sappy stuffs! And this is difinitely a sappy and cliche--"

Rainbow did it quickly and pulled away quickly. Just a light peck on the lips and then she stood back. "Whoops hehe I tripped sorry Soarin and uh I realy need to get dry--"

"Excuses excuses" Soarin said rolling his eyes beford grabbing the girl and pressing his lips to her.

This time, it lasted longer. Dash didn't know what to do. She didn't pull away, but she also didn't kissed back. Yet. But Soarin's moving lips were too much for her to bear

"Don't kiss back don't you dare kiss b-- Oh what the heck!"

She closed her eyes and just went with it.

A/N: Eh, made me cringe because of how sappy this is! But somehow it was a little bearable for me, but not good enough! But hey it could have been worse right? Atleast this time no one walked in on them hehe anyway leave a comment for what ya thought of this
