Lucy's P.O.V

My friends and I were taken into questioning, I was separated from everyone else. Family was in one room. Close friends were in another, and other friends were in another room. Natsu however was taken in to questioning for 2 things, beating up my father, and to tell the police about his relation with me.

"When was the first day your father had changed?" The man had asked me.

"The day... After my mother... Died..." I said, I was choking on my sobs.

"What has his behavior been like?" He asked.

"First he would drink... Then he would ignore me... Then he started smoking... Then the name calling... And then the abuse..." I almost cried my eyes out.

"What names did he call you?" He asked.

"He, he called me... Fat... Waist of space... Whore... Slut... Bitch... Mother Fucker... Little Fucker... A piece of shit... A disgrace... And... A murderer..." I was now sobbing.

"Do you want to take a break?" I shook my head, and wiped my tears away.

"Did you ever cut, smoke, or had any ideas of suicide, or attempted it?" The man asked, I nodded.

"Smoking no, yes for the others. I cut because I was a liar, mistrusted, and was pushed out of the way by my mother from an incident. I also had cut when I was little. And I tried to commit suicide by jumping off my 3 story house, luckily my friend had caught me before I hit the ground." I said.

"Ok I think I should set up a trial for you and your father."

-A Few Weeks Later-

We were in a big court room.

"The jury finds the defendant guilty!" A man had said, how many years will my father be in prison.

"2 years of prison time. But Jude Heartfilia will never be seen in the same state as Lucy Heartfilia!" The judge had said, only 2 years...

My entire childhood that was taken by him, only was worth 2 simple years... I guess I am nothing after all...

"As for Lucy Heartfilia she will be in custody of Mr. Igneel and Mrs. Gradine Dragneel! Case closed!" The judge said, at least I have Gradine and Wendy...

We walked out of the court room...

"Who wants to go out to eat, my treat!" Gradine said.

"Sure!" Everyone said but me. They all started walking, I was behind them all, just thinking...

"Hey Luce, something wrong?" Natsu asked.

"Why do you care?" I said.

"Because your pretty face is going to get stuck like that." He teased.

"You're just one big joke aren't you Dragneel?" I said, he smiled.

"Anyway what's wrong?" He said.

"Is my childhood really only worth 2 years?" I asked.

"Why would you think that?" He asked.

"Natsu he took my childhood away, and for that he gets behind bars for 2 years! Am I really that unimportant?!" I cried, I had hugged, he just felt so warm so comforting.

"Luce, you may not have good memories of your past, but I promise you'll get new, better memories with us!" He said.

"Thank you Natsu, for everything." I said.

"No problem, now come on let's go! Stripper is probably eating everything right now." Natsu said.
