One Week Later

Albuquerque, New Mexico

"Wildcats Sing Along"

EAST HIGH SCHOOL

The school is full of activity. Students are mingling and discussing their vacations. Hunk and a cheerleader are having a friendly game of 1-on-1. My siblings and I get out of the school bus and is immediately greeted by our fellow teammates and cheerleaders. And everyone is singing.

"Wildcats, sing a-long. Yeah you really got it goin on
Wildcats in the house, Everybody say it now.
Wildcats everywhere, Wave your hands up in the air.
That's the way we do it, Let's get to it,
Time to show the world."all the team and cheerleader sing.

" Lance! How ya doing, man?" Hunk asks me, he's my best friend.

"Hey, Hunk what's up?" Maria asks passing by.

"Hey, happy new year bro." I says to everybody with a big smile, I comb my brown hair with my fingers.

"Oh yes, my brothers, it will be a Happy Wildcat New Year,
because this Friday we play the league championship game, with you, Mr. Lance McClain, leading us to infinity and beyond!" Hunk says happly.

"In two weeks we're going to the championships with you leading us to infinity and beyond." Hunk yell pulling me in a hug.

"What team?" Hunk asks.

"Wildcats!" All the basketball team and cheerleaders scream.

"What team?" Hunk asks again.

"Wildcats!" Everybody screams once again.

"Wildcats, sing a-long. Yeah you really got it goin on
Wildcats in the house, Everybody say it now." Everyone sing.

Inside East High School, Allura Evans and her brother Coran strut their way through the crowded hallways.

"Ooh! Whoo-hoo!" someone admires her.

"Guys, here she comes." Lotor says, I don't like him, but he's a really good player.

Allura walks past the entire Wildcat team, making them get out of her way.

"Ohh." All the boys say.

"Hi, Lance. Getting ready for the big game?" Coran ask me. I smiled at him.

"Yes we are!" I say making everyone yell happily.

"Hi, Lance!" Allura said.

"Oh-uhm-Hi, Allura." I say a little uncorfotable.

"See you later boys" she say walking away with a smirk, her white hair flying with the wind.

Coran was still standing there talking with Hunk. He was more friendly with us than Allura.

"Coran!" She yells for her brother.

"Bye." He say walking away to his sister.

"Hey, the Ice Princess has returned from the North Pole." Lotor said laughing "You know, she probably spent the holidays the way she always does." Lotor  said.

"How's that?" I asked asks.

"Shopping for clothes and tiaras." He jokes

"Ooh!" All the teammates scream.

"That's a little mean man." Hunk say with a little smile.

The Wildcats laugh at Lotor's joke.

"So how was your holidays Hunk?" I ask walking to class.

"Pretty cool man, I did a new kind of cake." He say smiling.

"Cake.....now I want cake." I saw winning, he just laugh at me.

When we were entering the class I could hear Katie Holt and her science posse. We are kind of friends...she, Hunk and I but....we don't talk that much...

"Ugh, behold the zoo animals heralding the new year. How tribal" She mocks us laughing. One thing I know, she can be 15 only but she's really smart!

I laugh from her comment and look at her with a smile. "Yes we are animals Pidge!" I say howling. Hunk laughed and Pidge rolled her eyes.

Bell rings and we go to class.

"Wildcats everywhere, Wave your hands up in the air.
That's the way we do it, Let's get to it,
Time to show the world." They finished singing.
