Stella's POV

I look at the shiny true words engraved on the bracelet. I trace the letters with my trembling fingers and read it over and over again in my mind.

The bracelet is beautiful like a bright light in a dark cave lightning the whole cave with its never ending fire light and the words engraved on it are like stars hanging above in the dark silent night, fading other parts of the deep sky with its shine.

"Stella it's for you." Harry says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"No-o Harry, I can't take th-is." I say a little nervous. I can't take such an expensive thing. I did nothing to gain it.

"But it's for you." Harry says grabbing my hands in his and looking deep in my eyes.

"Harry, I don't deserve it."

"It's because of a reason I gave you this which makes you deserve it, Stella."

I look at him still unsure.

"Please..." He says and this time I nod in agreement, a smile forming on my face.

He leaves my hands to take out the bracelet from the velvet box. He holds his one hand out for me to take it.

I take it and he slowly puts it on my left hand's wrist.

"Thank you so much." I say and hug him tightly which is taken aback by him but eventually he hugs me back. When I realize what was I doing, I quickly take my hand off him and looks down because I know that my face looks red as a tomato.

"Uh- okay...bye!" I say and gets out of his car with a big smile and go quickly to my apartment.

On reaching the apartment door, I sigh. All my excitement and happiness goes away with the wind.

I enter in my apartment and quickly get fresh to leave for Zoe's house.

I blow dry my hair and grab a drawstring front crop top & ruffle hem skirt set. I put on my white sneakers and my eyes look down upon the bracelet on my left wrist. I stare at its words for around one minute forgetting all the problems I had and a smile appears on my face.

I lock my apartment and leave for Zoe's house.

I ring the bell of her house and it is quickly opened by a sleepy Zoe.

"Oh, hey!" Zoe says with a yawn.

"Will you let me in?" I say.

"Oh, Yeah." She says and opens the door wide for me to enter.

As usual there is no one in the house except Zoe.

We go to her bedroom and I sit on her bed while she leaves to get fresh. After around thirty minutes of sitting and watching television, Zoe enters the room.

"Zoe what took you so long in the party that you didn't come to school today?" I say raising my eyebrows, quickly bringing the question.

"Actually, I was with some friends who convinced me to stay for long so I thought to stay. I was a little worried for you that how will you go home but then I thought you are an intelligent girl." She says and I know she was lying about the 'friends' thing but I thought not to question her about it further.

"Smart." I say looking at her with bored expression.

"Well how did you go home?" She says quickly changing the topic.

I roll my eyes at her act and lie down on her bed. "Harry" I say.

"What?!" She screamed so loud that I swear I got a mini heart attack.

"What the hell? Why are you screaming?" I say sitting down, keeping my both hands on my heart which is now beating madly.

"Who gave you that?" She says pointing to my wrist, her eyes wide as she saw some vampire or witch. I raise my wrist which was being pointed by Zoe in front of my eyes and that's when I realize that she was talking about the bracelet.

"Oh! This." I start blushing on thinking about it. "Ha-rry gave m-e." I stutter.

"Oh, God! It is so beautiful." She says looking down at my bracelet. "I always knew." She says now looking at me.

"What do you know?" I say tilting my head.

"That Harry always liked you." She squeals and my hearts flutters but I ignore the sensation and say, "It's nothing like that."

"Oh, really!" She says cocking her eyebrows towards me in a challenging way. "You mean if I call him and say that you met with an accident and hang the call at that part, wouldn't he come searching for you?"

"Shut up, Zoe! You are not going to do anything like that." I say pointing a finger.

"Who knows?" She says shrugging her shoulders.

"Zoe!" I say warning her.

"Okay! Okay! Now do you wanna watch any movie?" She again quickly changing the topic.

I roll my eyes and sigh.

"Yes." I say.
