Everything That Happened

A/n: I am truly sorry for my dumbass, but I have lost the motivation for this book. I can't in my right mind leave it with no ending though, so here is a detailed narrator type chapter that explains what I planned for this book. I will include the new characters I was gonna introduce as well cause it was exciting for me to place them in certain scenarios. Cheryl and Toni were going to be introduced in the next chapter but since that's not happening they'll be here. Speeches and songs for some events that I wrote will also be included cause I'm not wasting it. Hope you guys enjoy this.

Please comment and vote cause why the fuck not.

Third person's pov

After living in San Francisco for 6 months, Lin got worse for wear. He thought that moving away would help solve his problems but it was quite the opposite. Cheryl and Toni (A/n: his roommates) hated seeing him like this, they had many talks with him they all reached the final conclusion that Lin needed to confess before the wedding for his own sanity. Pippa was almost always burning with jealousy when Toni would join the call because she thought Lin and her had something going on, which made no sense cause Toni was friendly but deeply in love with Cheryl. Either way there was the final moment when Lin decided he needed to be there for the wedding, so he started packing up to move back home. The call when he told everyone he was coming home had to be one of the happiest calls they had in a long time. Daveed had since moved into the girls apartment, not being able to pay the rent by himself or find a decent enough roommate. Luckily the apartment had one more room left and had an almost locker room-ish bathroom.

Daveed and Emmy have decided to basically live together in her room, even though he still had his to keep his stuff or go to if space was needed, which was rare. The two had watched how Pippa sat and did all the work for the wedding while Steven just threw money in her face to show his 'contribution'. They never dared to tell Lin what was going on though, knowing he would leave everything behind to come and help.

When Lin finally reached back, everything seemed to fall back into place. Vanessa and Clementine reached out and started spending time with everyone again. Lin noticed the struggle and started helping her with the wedding plans just as Daveed and Emmy had feared. Pippa started feeling so much better with the help of Lin and started to notice how attentive he was. He knew exactly the kind of decorations she would like and knew her favorite flowers like it was his name. It was a side she never knew existed in him. She would find herself just looking at him if he took a nap on the couch, unable to look away for some reason. She knew he looked at her sometimes when he thought she didn't know, she would never mention it though liking the attention as it lacked from Steven.

Days went by like no one's business and the wedding day had approached. Emmy and her mom and Pippa's mom as well as Vanessa and Clementine helped Pippa get ready for her big day. The boys were sitting outside the room waiting for orders to do things, Daveed made sure Lin was ok being at the wedding and watching them get married like this, and in true Lin fashion he said "As long as she's happy, I'm happy.".

Pippa couldn't stop thinking about Lin, chocolatey brown eyes, his soft looking hair all tousled after a crazy day of planning, his laugh, his smile, the way he talks to her and the feeling of butterflies in her stomach every time she caught him looking at her for just a second too long. She needed to stop these thoughts soon because she was getting married to Steven and this was wrong. But why did it feel so right?

As everyone sat waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle Vanessa noticed Lin's fidgety fingers, she reached out and held his hand to stop the twiddling thumbs.

"Listen..." Vanessa starts "I know you don't wanna talk right now, but I just need you to listen to me, please, I need you to know that you are an absolutely amazing person. I know what you're feeling right now is not very good. I just know that you're one important person to me. And even though you may feel like no one loves you... That's not true." She intertwines her fingers with his before continuing, "There are so many people that love you and care about you. And I know that once you get through this, you're gonna know how many people care about you and love you. I know you need time to heal, so take it... Take all the time you need. Just know that when you're done, we're all gonna be here waiting for you... I love you..." she finished making Lin finally let out that goofy smile everyone loves although it was small. He let out a soft chuckle before bumping his shoulder into hers, she lifted his hand and kissed it, Lin then mimicking the movement. This is how they used to seal their love for each other as kids so why not now.

(A/n: everything above would have been three chapters if I hadn't been a total lazy piece of ass)

The famous wedding melody flowed through the chapel's walls as Pippa took slow steps towards the altar, she had a large smile on her face as she observed how every detail of their planning had beautifully come to fruition. As she looked at the man she was about to marry all she could think about was Lin, this only meant one thing to her...

As she stood before the pastor, Steven and most importantly God she heard him say "I do." with a toothy grin. "And do you Phillipa Anne Soo take Steven to be your lawfully wedded husband through thickness and in thin, in sickness and in health forever till death do you part?" her mind spun, she looked into the crowd and made eye contact with Lin. He smiled encouragingly, she knew she wasn't going to make a giant mistake in front of everyone she knew. "I do." she smiled. Their kiss seemed rather forced but Pippa loved Steven so why was this so hard? This was supposed to be the happiest day, so why did her heart ache? Her brain made the right decision.

(A/n: No honeymoon was planned because I can't write sweet things about Steven if this book isn't evident enough.)

Almost 6 months later, Steven wasn't who he used to be, he started to scare Pippa, drinking too much, raising his hand but stopping before he could hit her, making her do all the work in the house even though she had a job. All the money she earned was supposedly both of theirs while his was only his cause he was the man of the house, not to mention how he spent time with other women openly, Pippa was supposed to be ok with it. They get a divorce because Emmy forces Pippa to not hide in the minute amount of happiness that he brings her. It was messy and took a while but she was soon moved back into her old room.

Pippa no longer wanted to be in a relationship with anyone, she felt the need to live her youth. She wanted to fool around with every one that was interested, and she did. Every night a different man in her bed, grunts and squeaks filling their apartment. Lin was in agony hearing everything, so he started sleeping on Nessa and Clem's couch, just willing away from the noise. Daveed and Emmy seemed to slow down their physical affection cause it just felt so uncomfortable hearing Pippa moan and whichever new man grunt away in glory.

One night, Lin and Pippa were in the apartment alone because the other two went for a hiking trip that ended in a bed and breakfast because they were too tired to drive all the way back. The two were watching a romcom in good fashion so they could have a cute little best friend night, but all of that changed when Pippa couldn't block the thoughts of wanting to kiss those pink lips as her fingers ran through his soft looking hair. She had lost all control and kissed him when he was mocking the main actor in the movie. The kiss was firm but soft, as she pulled away looking all over his face to figure out if they could continue, his eyes were confused. Confused on whether she actually liked him back or just needed another rebound to add to her list. He let his heart win and take the lead, leaning back in and passionately kissing the girl he loved from day one, the girl he's been waiting to kiss since forever. Hurriedly taking off clothes as they walked back to Lin's room, she jumped and wrapped her legs around his waist, his arms securing her body against him and hands on her ass.

That night if anything filled Lin with hope and Pippa with feeling, she hasn't felt anything with her earlier rendezvous' but with Lin she felt the weight of commitment lay on her chest. She decided to ignore it for now and fell asleep in his arms, inhaling the cologne that softly invaded her nose. Lin couldn't sleep because his reality was finally better than anything his noggin could have cooked up, he slowly untangled himself from her and sat at his desk letting words flow out of his brain. The lyrics finally happy after years. He then made his way back to the bed and watched in awe as Pippa cuddled into his side, his eyes grew heavy with the largest grin.

I'm sick of all this waiting

When you gonna wake up

and see that I'm the guy that you're meant to be with

I'm the guy that treats you right

And holds you tight

I'm the type of guy that walks you down the aisle

So tell me why you're with him tonight

We're sitting across the tv screen

Watching movies that we've already seen

When you turn to me

God I wanna kiss you now

And tell you how

I've been in love with you for forever now

But I don't know how

So I went 1... 2... 3...

I need to how you feel about me

You took a chance leaned in and when our lips collided

you went silent and I died inside

Never seen you this quiet

Then it took me 1... 2... 3...

Seconds to have a reaction

God somebody kill me

But then our lips collided

And my mind went silent

I'm so relieved

That you feel the same way about me

(A/n: This would've been another two chapters. *sighs in frustration*)

Pippa woke up that morning before Lin, she took in a deep breath, the same feeling of commitment washed over her. Secure but heavy, she just wasn't ready yet so as she heard steady breathing coming from her recent lover, she removed herself from the cuddle he had her in. She felt the guilt seep in as she slipped into the shower, caressing her lips, the lips that were finally touched by someone who cared.

Lin woke up to an empty bed but he didn't think much of it until he watched Pippa go about her day and act like nothing happened between them. He still held out hope but that was crushed when she brought another guy for the night, not sparing Lin a glance. That night the moans from her room were unbearable, tears slipped down his face as he started to write down his feelings onto paper again, this time not as happy.

Have a boy cry over you at 3 am

You can cross that off your list cause I just did that then

And it hurts so bad that I promised never to do it again

Texts left on delivered

Always ghosting me

Damn this house it must be haunted

So many skeletons hidden inside your pretty closet

A demon in the flesh but you taste like heaven

You are so bad for me

But you look so sweet when you lie to me

How could you lie to me?

You are my kryptonite

Bane of my life

Loving you is suicide

So why did I kiss you last night

You are so bad for me

But I didn't see with you next to me

With you next to me

Months of torture, Pippa didn't realize picking herself would hurt Lin and in turn herself so much. Vanessa decided to set Lin on a date with a friend of hers, they didn't hit it off sadly but as he made his way back to the apartment he decided to grab a coffee from this random cafe he found. Pushing the doors, letting the air inside cool his face, he stood in line waiting for his turn but that's when caught a glimpse of the pretty woman working the cashier. She had caramel skin and hazel eyes, her wavy brown hair cascading down her shoulders looked silky to the touch, her crooked but adorable smile complimented by the deep dimples in her cheeks entranced him.

He starts going to the shop everyday even though he has this small feeling of guilt eating at him. But Pippa wasn't his girlfriend, he can't just wait for her cause she would never want him like that so he went anyways because Cara (A/n: coffee shop girlie) made him smile more than he has in a long time. As time went by the two started dating and seemed really happy together. This obviously ticked Pippa, in her mind Lin couldn't be with anyone except herself. She lost herself after the divorce, all she knew about her life fell apart before her eyes. So drowning herself in men and her job seemed like the only safe option to her, however she didn't realize how much she was hurting herself and the people around her. She found it hard to hate Cara because she was just so stupidly perfect, of course Lin liked someone like her. Daveed and Emmy loved the double dates with Lin and Cara, the couple were happy to finally see their buddy happy and to have company on these dates.

Cara and Lin soon realized that they would be better off as friends, and it was true. The two still hung out regularly updating the other on their lives not because they had to but because they wanted to.

Daveed and Emmy were watching a horror movie when the lights went out, he flinched and tried to find his girlfriend in the dark. When the lights flickered back on, Emmy was on one knee, her shaky hands holding an open engagement ring box. It contained a beautiful silver ring with "For a Million Years" engraved on the inside of the ring. Daveed let his tear fall, a watery smile on his face as he repeated yes until Emmy muted him with her lips. Lin watched from the corner, he loved his job of engagement planner, it was always fun (A/n: he helped Vanessa propose too, her and Clem are now married).

(A/n: I'm proofreading and realized i forgot to add what happened to Jonah... essentially he got adopted by a good family and still kept in touch with Lin, in fact he is the ring barer for his wedding.)

Years of Pippa healing from her self-destructive ways lead her to apologize to the people she hurt, starting with her best friend and ending with Lin (A/n: obviously more people in between). Lin and Pippa decided to try dating each other, but only if they went slow so Lin felt safe in the relationship. They dated for 2 years before Lin couldn't help himself from proposing. They decided to bake one night, Pippa asked her boyfriend to put a cup of flour in the sifter at a time, he snuck the ring in the last cup. When she saw the shiny object she gasped, she looked at him and he asked her to marry him in the sweetest way she could ask for (A/n: she found out soon after her divorce that Lin planned Stevens engagement and not her ex).

~~~~Time skip because even here I'm lazy~~~~
Daveed, Emmy, Lin and Pippa sat at the Jefferson High talent show waiting for their kids to show up. The former couples kids Jackson Lin Lampan-Diggs and Elena Susan Lampan-Diggs (twins) choreographed an incredible dance piece while the latter couple's daughter Antoinette Majorie Miranda-Soo (In honor of Lins fallen friends [A/n:I was going to give more on this but they died in an apartment fire, Cheryl was stuck inside so Toni being Toni tried to save her, both of their lives were taken away from them too early but they met again on the other side and watched as their Lin named his child after them in tears of joy.]) played an original song on the piano, her lyrics making her parents but especially her father cry. (the song she "wrote" is 'Like my Father' by Jax).
The End.
A/n: So... thoughts on Choni???
Other than that what do you guys think? This is what I basically planned for the whole book and it would've been written properly if I didn't lose interest... again sorry about that. Either ways I hope that you guys are happy with how this ended and hope you enjoyed this!
Anyways have a g'morning or g'night wherever you are... I love you guys...
Byeee🥰💙❤️
