Entry 1:

If I Could Turn Back Time

Cemeteries are weird. Maybe creepy is the right word, but I'm pretty sure it's weird. Think about it - a cemetery is just a place in the middle of a town or city where dead people are kept.

That's where I am right now. Sitting in my car, in the middle of a cemetery.

I'm here for a reason, though. After everything that's happened, I need to pay my respects to him. Without further ado, I get out of my car and take my things with me.

I walk across the uneven surface towards his grave. It's around here somewhere, I know it is. Eventually, I come across it.

I stand under the shade of a pine tree, the bright afternoon sun glowing through the branches. It's been almost two years since the funeral, and everything is as it was on that day. Well, except for the faded Christmas wreath that's seen better days.

I stare down at the gravestone, at the gilded letters that spell out his name, the numbers that ultimately subtract to eighteen years. I'm not going to cry. It's been two years since we were last together, since the bullet, the blood... I've moved on.

But I do cry. Hard. Because when you see something that horrifying, you can't unsee it. Especially when you're standing over the victim's grave.

The sky is blue, and the sun is bright, and I really wish it weren't.

Entry 2:

Three House Cats

Jackie watched as his housefolk walked around the house. From up on the bookshelf, he could make out the two housefolk kits playing with the small dog. The brown, noisy brute barked and yelped, giving Jackie an earache.

Jackie didn't like the housefolk kits. Every time they saw him, they would chase him around the house. He didn't want the kits to touch him. The male housefolk always yelled at them when they did that, but the kits didn't listen to him.

Jackie raised one white paw and ran his tongue over his tiger colored fur. His collar jingled as he did so.

He had been here for only half a moon. His mother had loved him from the start, he and his sister. She hadn't named them, telling Jackie that his new housefolk would name him. But just two days before the people came and took them away, Jackie's sister died. Nobody knew why, and Jackie's mother had almost died of grief.

So the small black and white house cat leaped off the bookshelf and walked toward the back door, his blue eyes glowing as he stepped through the cat door and into the sun. He purred when he scented the the garden's flowers.

"Hey, there!" Mewed a voice.

Jackie looked up and saw a pretty brown kitten balanced on the fence next to him. Her green eyes were shining with warmth.

"Hi!" He meowed to her. "Who are you?"

The kitten jumped down into his yard, hardly flinching as the dog inside his house let out a fury of barks and howls. She waited to speak until Jackie's housefolk yowled at the dog and it stopped barking.

"My name is Brook." She said. "This your place?"

Jackie nodded. "Yeah. I live here." He mewed. "My name's Jackie."

Brook smiled. "Nice to meet you Jackie." She purred. "You're new here, right?" She asked. "I've seen you come out a lot."

Jackie twitched his ears. "I come out to get away from the Housefolk kits." He explained. "They won't leave me alone."

"Just give em a  good scratch, and they'll leave you alone."

Brook and Jackie looked up at the fence on the other side to see a pale gray tom with a long black stripe down his back. He stared at the two kittens from up on the fence. "Name's Myrrglosh." He meowed in an old raspy purr.

Brook stepped toward the old cat, and jumped on the fence beside him, Jackie followed a bit slower. "That sounds like a dog name." She commented.

Myrr nodded. "It is," He mewed. "My mother knew a cat, that knew a dog," He explained. "And that dog knew a group of wolves. The leader had rescued a pup after his mother and father abandoned him. Naming him, Myrrglosh, which means 'Bit of a miracle.'"

He paused and looked at the two young cats. "My mother always loved that name. So she gave it to me, her eldest."

A loud yowling from the house made all three cats turn to see that Jackie's housefolk was standing in the doorway, calling to Jackie.

Shooting a guilty glance at the other two cats, Jackie leaped off the fence and raced into the house.

Entry 3:

His Life

I wear strange clothes, I have no sense of anything. I can't tell colors apart, because I'm color blind. My name is Brandon. Brandon Fall. I am 15 years old. My high school hates me, because they don't think I fit in. Just another thief, a freak. My grades are high. Maybe that's another reason to hate me.

I walk to my first class of the day when A jock intentionally bumps into me and drops my books. He goes with his friends laughing at my face. A girl helps me pick up my books, smile in her face and all. "Are you new?" I ask.

"Yes" she answered with a nod. I should have figured it out, she helped me after all. "Well then, I guess goodbye" I started walking towards my science class. "WAIT!" The mystery girl stopped me.

"Yes?" I turned around. "Can you show me the way to room 730?" She asked. "Actually that's my next class, come on I'll take you." I said turning around.

"What's your name?" I asked her. Maya. Maya Richards" She answered, and kept walking quietly. The silence was getting awkward "Where are you from?" I broke the silence. "Australia" She said quietly with a little groan. She seemed kind of shy, but before anything else we arrived to the classroom. Just in time too, because the bell rung. Mr Parker was just a few steps behind us and we had barely taking our seats when he started the class. I glanced at Maya across the room as Mr Parker called upon her. "Care to introduce yourself Miss Richards?

I'd never imagine Maya Richards the shy girl, likes chocolate ice cream, hates boy bands, is claustrophobic, and her parents got a job opportunity here in America.

Months pass by as Maya and me got closer. Of course she made a few friends in school, she was particularly close with two girls. Alice and Fiona We participated in science fairs, went to festivals and lots of other stuff. She has bugging me for a while though. Telling me I should look my best irrespective of what other kids treat me. I have been rather reluctant as I don't fancy the idea of changing to please people.

This happened to be the topic of our discussion on one fortunate day when she decided to walk me home. I finally agreed to try to dress better just so she could stop nagging me about it. To my surprise she opted to come in and give me a few pointers. As she rummaged through my closet she said I had a few good combination of clothes to wear which she laid out for my present use. She also invited me to come shopping with her on Saturday. So we can get my closet updated.

After we came back from shopping, we went back and laid out a few more combinations so they'd be ready for future use.

On Monday, I admit I was little hesitant, but those clothes did have a positive effect. People seemed to be seeing me for the first time. Some kids actually greeted me, even asking if I was a new student, even Maya was surprised at the changes. So many things changed in those next few weeks. And suddenly I was popular I had something to do every night and suddenly I seemed to spend even less time with Maya.

One day while we were leaving class, she confronted me about "avoiding her". Things didn't end up that well, So naturally we ended up in an argument making her storm away. I still upset about the matter that day, when I was passing by Fiona and Alice by the cafeteria where I overheard them talking about Maya them leaving the country. The words hit me like a blow and for the first time I was really afraid I was going to lose her. This was kind of disturbing as I had not yet told her my feelings for her. I had to desperately find her. I was unable to find her in school and decided to pay her a visit at home. She answered by the other side of the door.

"I'm really sorry abort what I said earlier" I said and asked if we could talk about it while strolling. She reluctantly agreed, and after a while she agreed to forgive me. I then asked her about the rumor of her leaving. She confirmed that her Dad had been transferred and she was to leave too but not anymore. I confessed i had feelings for her and asked her if she would date me. Then we kissed in the moonlight.
