"Oh . . . Um. Wow. Okay," I say.

"Huh?" Zach seems shocked.

"I do like you. So yes . . ."

"Really?"

"I wouldn't be saying it of I didn't mean it."

"Good. I love you. Sarcasm has never looked better. Except on me, of course." Zach teases with a wink.

I lean forward and press my lips to his. The kiss starts gently, but becomes rougher as it continues.

I let him take control of the kiss and soon, I'm lying down again with him straddling me.

He pulls back and we are both panting. Eventually, we both get up and clean up, then sit in the cab of the truck.

"You are amazing," Zach breathes against my lips.

"As are you, but I think we need to get dressed and go back to your place," I say, still slightly fearful of Maria.
