After class the day before the sports festival every class gathered outside class 1-A and Bakugo walked up and said "MOVE IT EXTRAS!!"

A guy emerged from the crowd while saying "Is everyone in your class an ass or is it just you?"

Izuku walked up and said to Bakugo "Can't you be quiet for once?" He then turned to guy and said "I assume you are here to threaten us or some shit?"

The guy said "It's more of a declaration of war, you see if we do good enough in the sports festival we can take your place in the hero course."

Izuku smirked and said "Bring it, I'm quirkless so I'll be an easy target, right?" Before the guy could respond Izuku flash stepped to him and put his hand on his shoulder as he said "Your quirk won't work on me, Hitoshi Shinso." And he walked out.

Shinso was pissed and he left as did everyone else.

At the sports festival

Midnight announced the first event was a race.

The race was close.

1st- Izuku

2nd- Izumi

3rd- Shoto

4th- Katsuki

5th- Shoka

Next was the cavalry battle, everyone went after Izuku since he was alone, Izuku however was prepared and he used his spiritual pressure to paralyze every attacker.

1st- Izuku
2nd- Katsuki
3rd- Shoto
4th- Uraraka
5th- Shoka
6th- Shinso

Next was the 1v1 matches, the first match was Izuku Yagi vs Hitoshi Shinso.

Shinso: Hehe... It seems I'll definitely be taking your spot, huh quirkless loser?

Izuku slowly walked forward and said "Not today, I've worked far too hard to lose."

Shinso was shocked even though Izuku warned him this would happen and he said "H-how? That's impossible!"

Izuku flash stepped to Shinso and said "Anything is possible, even you being a hero with that quirk of yours."

Izuku then bowed and said "Do your best."

Midnight: IZUKU YAGI ADVANCES!!!

Izuku went to the bleachers and the next fight was Shoto vs Shoka, Shoto won the match with little to no effort.

Shoka went to the bleachers and was upset and Izuku just said "Don't worry, this is a learning experience Shoka... Pain is the best teacher you can ask for, trust me I know by experience."

The next fight is Uraraka vs Katsuki, which was a close battle but in the end, her body couldn't take anymore.

Katsuki was booed by the pros and civilians until Izuku flies to the middle of the stadium and says "SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!!! IT MAY HAVE BEEN HARD TO WATCH, EVEN SO THEY BOTH GAVE IT THEIR ALL AND THAT IS NOTHING TO BOO AT!!! THE FIGHT WAS BRUTAL, YES BUT SUCH IS BATTLE!!! IN ORDER TO WIN YOU MUST BE WILLING TO GO BEYOND YOUR LIMITS AND PUT YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE AND THAT IS WHAT THEY BOTH DID!!! SO, I'LL SAY IT ONCE MORE SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE REST OF THE SPORTS FESTIVAL!!!"

Then there was an hour long break for the competitors. The next battle was Shoto vs Katsuki.

Midnight: BAKUGO ADVANCES TO THE FINAL ROUND!!!

The battle began and Katsuki said "It's time to settle this, you ready to die nerd?" Izuku just said "500 fights and you can call yourself a legitimate tough guy, but it doesn't matter in the end... What matters is the lessons on the way to 500, none more important than this." And then Izuku beat the shit out of Katsuki.

Midnight: IZUKU YAGI WINS!!! IZUKU YAGI IS THE WINNER OF THIS YEAR'S UA SPORTS FESTIVAL!!!

Izuku went to Katsuki and offered his hand as he said "I don't hate you, I'd like to start over Kacchan..."

Katsuki just smiled and took Izuku's help and said "You damn nerd, sure I'll accept your offer... I want my best friend back."

After the sports festival ended Izuku went to the dorms with the others, Izumi was sitting on the couch playing super smash bros with Kaminari, Izumi was winning.

Izuku asked "Hey guys, do y'all wanna hear a song I wrote?" And all their attention shifted to Izuku.

Jirou said "Hell yeah!" And everyone except for Todoroki and Izumi agreed.

Izuku went to get some things and returned with a microphone and a guitar, he then said "This is about my sister... It's called 'how do you sleep?'."

Jirou was amazed at Izuku's talent and Izumi was crying in her room.

Izuku then went to bed.
