Team 7 was in the Hokage's office after completing their D-Ranked mission in capturing Tora the cat. Right now Tora was rubbing his self of Naruto's chest as he holds him while reading (BTW it's NOT Make-out paradise). The shinobi in the room and the Hokage were shocked to see that Tora can show any affection towards anyone that doesn't involve them getting clawed at, bitten, or tortured. Even the new voices in Naruto's mind scape were overly shocked.

"Wow the cat from hell can become an angel with Naruto present," the third Hokage, Hiruzen Saratobi, said.

"Come on the cat couldn't be that bad," Shodai Hokage, Hashirama Senju, said.

"Trust me, he's that bad," the fourth Hokage's deceased​ student, Rin, shivered remembering when she had to capture Tora.

Yes you heard right these are the voices of the dead hero's off shinobi kind, the true hero's. The deceased Hokages, the Ōtsutsuki clan, the Senju clan, Uzumaki clan, the fourth's deceased student, Rin, Hyūga clan, the recently deceased clan, the Uchiha clan, and more.

I know what your thinking, 'How can the deceased be in his mind scape?!' Well its simple, the story goes a little like this, four weeks ago.

~Flashback~

Naruto was walking towards the river bank where he trains Sai, Hinata, and Sasuke, when he felt that someone was following him. He continued to walk but at a slower pace as he felt the being get closer. Once he felt that they were close enough, he threw a kunai at them.

"WHOA, NARUTO IT'S ME, SABARU!"

"Uncle? What are you doing here? I thought we agreed on not seeing each other until Sasuke is stronger to take care of himself."

"Well, we all knew that the Uchiha kid would want revenge on his brother for killing their clan for no reason, so I thought of a solution," Sabaru smiled.

"What kind of solution?"

"Well, I've been working on something that would let you talk to the dead when you put your hand on their grave. Since I don't live in this wretched village, I thought you would be able to get close to the Uchiha clans grave and see if you could get anything on their deaths, like why Itachi did what he did."

"What is it?" Naruto raised an eyebrow.

Sabaru held out a medicine ball that had this white coloring to it, "Naruto, you will need to eat this, but do it before you go to bed at night. There might be some side effects to it, but don't worry, their only minor so you and everybody else will never notice them."

"I don't think I should be trying out a new 'solution' you made that has side effects to it when I speak to the dead," Naruto crossed his arms over his chest questioning his uncle.

"Minor side effects, plus I know you don't feel comfortable about this but, maybe you could talk Marada."

Naruto flinched to hear his otousan's name. Marada died of natural causes when he was back in the village after two years. He thought it over for a few times before he made his decision.

"Okay, I'll take the pill, but if I grow something or if any of this goes wrong, I'm going to have Uncle Orochimaru use you to test something out for me. And trust me it won't be pleasant," Naruto threatened.

Sabaru nodded his head, "I got it, I got it, trust me nothing will go wrong."

With that both shinobis left in different directions. Sabaru went back to his own journey while Naruto continued to walk towards the river.

~Time skip~

Naruto was back from a late night of training the three Genins, who stood their ground a bit longer, to death. As he was taking off his clothes for a bath he takes the pill from his sleeve and put it next to the small table on left side of his bed. He puts his worn clothes on the bed to clean for tonight and takes out a plain white dress shirt to sleep in. He walks into the bathroom to clean himself.

~40 minutes later~

Naruto slipped into bed as he just stares at the pill next to him.

"Uncle what the hell where you thinking?" was all Naruto said as he grabs the pill and head down stairs to the first floor of the attic to get a glass of water.

He sips some water then takes the pill before taking a gulp of water down with it. Once he finished the water he heads back to bed.

~Morning~

Naruto slowly started to wake up as the warmth in his body started to return again. Last night Naruto's body was as cold as ice, hard, his skin turned pale, he looked as if he was...dead.

He slowly starts to move his body as he felt his joints starting to move freely again in his, now once again tanned, body.

"What in the hell did Uncle give me. I feel like I died and came back to life," Naruto says as he stretches his aching body.

He soon senses more than one presence around him, multiple chakra's . It didn't feel like anyone he knew except for a certain chakra of a certain Uchiha who took care of him when he was small. But when he tried to search for the unknown chakras, he sensed them...inside of him. He starts to hear voices as if they had woken up from a long nap.

"Huh, where am I," an old man said. His skin was light, his hair is grey, his face is gaunter, and he has the wrinkles and liver spots of old age. He initially had a single line running vertically under the outer corners of each eye, which stretched down into his face as he aged until they reached his cheeks. He was wearing much light combat attire at some point, consisting of a black jumpsuit, mesh segments over the lower portions of his limbs, and a green that covered much of his right arm. He also wore an armoured hood with a bandanna-like over this, tied with two long straps. He was the the Sandaime of the Hidden Leaf Village, Hiruzen Sarutobi.

The old man looked around noticing that he wasn't in the other world anymore, but in a large field where their were plants, tress, and grass. He could pick up the sound of animals around him, but he could also pick up the groans of others as they wake up from their long slumber. He turns around shocked to what he saw.

There were shinobi from the most powerful clans know to man, the Ōtsutsuki clan, Senju clan, Uzumaki clan, Hyūga clan, the Uchiha clan and more. He also manage to recognize one of the fourth's deceased student, Rin Nohara. Rin was a young girl of average height. She had straight brown hair, which was cut in a chin-length bob that framed her face, and brown eyes. She also had a rectangular purple marking on either sides of her cheeks. She wore a light purple outfit with shuriken patterns over it, with a belt around her waist and several pouches. Underneath this, she wore chain-mail armour, and calf-length sandals.

Everyone in Naruto's mind scape were shocked to see all of the great shinobi that died all together in one looking alive and well. But they were only spirits in a boy's mind. They soon began to ask each other questions to why they were there and what they were doing there. Soon they all went into a panic.

All their yelling and screaming started to give Naruto a headache so he spoke up, "ALL OF YOU, SHUT UP!!"

Soon all the spirits calmed down after hearing the voice telling them to be quiet.

Naruto soon entered in his mind scape revealing his self to the new addition in his mind, "Ugh, its early in the morning and I have to deal with all of you giving me a headache because of your complaining. Okka-san, can you please explain to us what is going on."

"Sure kit," Kurama stepped out into the open field making all the spirits eyes widen.

They all got into position to fight just in case the Kyubi would attack, but once one man got a good look at the beast his eyes widen once more.

"Kurama?" a tall and pale-skinned man, who had deep wrinkles and a strong jawline in his elderly age asked as he recognized the tailed beast. He had spiky, shoulder-length, pale-red hair, with a chin-length, braided lock hanging in front of his left ear. He also sported a goatee, which was tapered down to his waist. He had a pair of horn-like protrusions extending from either side of his forehead.He also had a red Rinnegan-like marking in the centre of his forehead. He wore a white, full-length kimono with a pattern of six black magatama around a high collar, beneath which, he wore a necklace which was also made up of six black magatama. On the back of his kimono was a larger, black Rinnegan marking with a pattern of nine magatama arranged in three rows of three beneath it. He was the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki.

Kurama's eyes widen as they set apon the man she hasn't seen in a long time, "Otousan?"

"Kurama, what's going on here?" Kurama's otousan asks.

"Kurama, Naruto?"a man with waist-long hair, shoulder-length bangs framing the side of his face covering his right eye. He wore a blue high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half and a simple, light-brown obi and a belt. He was one of Naruto's former senseis, Madara Uchiha.

Naruto eyes widen as he saw his Otousan, but right when he was about to speak someone beat him to it.

"Madara Uchiha, so you finally went to the other side. Is this your doing,"a fair-skinned man with white, shaggy hair and dark red eyes said. He had three red markings on his face, one under each of his eyes and one on his chin. He wore blue armour with a distinctive white fur collar over a simple black suit. This armour was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body. Beneath his shoulder armour he wore two bands on each arm. This clothing was accompanied by sandals and a happuriin place of the more traditional forehead protector. The happuri was engraved with Konoha on it. He was the Nidaime Hokage, Tobirama Senju.

"Tobirama, I see your the same forceful, pragmatic approach you had in life," Madara spat back glaring at the Nidaime.

Tobirama glared back at Madara as they both seemed to have lighting coming both their ways with their eyes.

"Okay, let's calm down you two," a man smiled and said. He was a tall man with tanned skin and dark eyes. He had waist-length black hair typically styled in a centre-parted fringe that framed his face. He wore the standard shinobi dress of his era, consisting of dark red armour worn over a simple black suit with sandals. This armour was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body; each collar of his shoulder guards bore the Senju symbol. He also wore the Konoha forehead protector. He was the Shodai Hokage, Hashirama Senju. "Now, would you please tell us what's going on. Madara do you know?"

Madara sighed before he gave them an answer, "No, I don't know what's going on but I'm sure Naruto and Kurama can explain."

Everyone turned their heads towards the nine-tailed fox and the blonde boy in a dress shirt with his arms crossed.

"What I know is that all of you are in my mind scape, which is only for those who I let in and Kurama," Naruto says as he walks up to the crowd of spirits in front of him. "But frankly, I'm sorry otousan I don't know what's going on."

All the spirits that knew Madara were completely shocked. They turned their heads towards him, wide eyed.

Madara sighed again telling Naruto that it was fine, so he turned to Kurama. She honestly didn't know what was going on but she thinks its has something do with Naruto.

"Naruto, do you remember doing anything out of the ordinary last night?"

Naruto thought about everything he did yesterday, then he remembered Sabaru giving him a pill. His eyes widen and his arms dropped to his side.

"Naruto..."

He started to make his hands into fist til his knuckles turned white as he was glaring down at the ground.

"Sabaru," Naruto growled.

"Sabaru, what does Sabaru have anything to do with it," Madara asked.

"He gave me a pill, telling me that is would help my mission by having me speak to Sasuke's parents about what happened the day they were murdered by his brother," Naruto said slowly as if venom was slowly dripping out his mouth.

Madara was about to say something, but someone beat him to it.

"Wait, did you say Sasuke as in Sasuke Uchiha," a woman that looked just like Sasuke said. She was a fair-skinned woman with long, straight black hair with bangs hanging on either side of her face to roughly frame her cheeks and black eyes. She wore a simple dark purple blouse with a red-plum skirt and a light-yellow apron normally worn over it. She had a man standing next to her. He had short, brown hair that reached to his shoulders and onyx-coloured eyes, with visible creases below them made more pronounced whenever he adopted a stern look. He wore a simple kimono with grey pants which had the Uchiha clan's symbol on the back.

"Yes ma'am, Sasuke is my teammate," Naruto said to the confused woman.

Madara manage to recognize the man and woman so he signaled Naruto to follow him. Once they were in front of them he greeted them, "Naruto, they are Sasuke's parents, Mikoto and Fugaku. They are the people your looking for."

"You know my baby boy, my Sasuke," Mikoto asked.

"Yes he does. Naruto is a friend of Sasuke's," Madara explained.

"Really, hows my baby, is he alright," Mikoto hoping her son is alright.

"Yes, Sasuke's fine Mrs.Uchiha," Naruto insured. "But I would like to asked you one quick question, if that's fine with you?"

"Is okay," she said with a warm smile.

Naruto felt uneasy getting a smile like that from a woman other than Kurama, "What I wanted to ask you was if you knew the reason for Itachi, Sasuke's brother to exterminate​ your clan?"

Mikoto and her husband looked at each other than looked back at Naruto, "Well he told us a reason, but he didn't tell us fully. He told us he didn't want to do it, but he had to, to protect Sasuke from someone. He didn't give a name, but he did say that the man would have killed all of us even Sasuke if he did do the job."

"So he was forced," Naruto said.

"Yes and we knew he was telling the truth because Itachi is a pacifist and no child cried as much tears as he did," Fugaku said. "When we saw him slaughtering our clan, I wanted an explanation to what he was doing. Once we heard the reason was to protect Sasuke, we let him take our life without a fight."

'So the Uchiha massacre was to protect Sasuke and their parents died willingly because someone threatened to kill everyone. Judging by how sure the guy said he would kill them without getting caught, I would believe for him to live in the village and someone who is well respected,' Naruto thought. 'Add that to another one of Konoha's dark deeds.'

"Okay thank you, but still how did any of you get here," Naruto asked.

Everyone just shrugged their shoulders.

"Oh, I can answer that question," a gaunt spectre with a demonic visage said. It is much larger than an average human, possessing long, shaggy, white hair, from which two red horns protrude, as well as purple-coloured skin. He was draped in a large white kimono and carries a set of prayer beads. His mouth is revealed to be full of sharp, jagged teeth, and a very long, almost serpentine tongue as he licks his lips. He was the very and feared Shinigami.

"The Shinigami," Hiruzen sounded shocked.

"Yes it is I, the great and feared Shinigami."

"More like the sadistic prick," Kurama mumbled.

The Shinigami had a tick mark on his forehead, "What was that you rejected canine."

"I rather be a rejected canine with human features than a reaper that got hit with the ugly stick," Kurama shot back.

"You wanna go fox," he said.

"Let's go, I'll kick your ass anytime. Did you for get I can't die."

"Neither can I."

"Oh but I'll beat your ass back into the underworld then maybe that will fix that ugly mug you call a face."

They both glared at each other until both of them turned their hard away from the other making everyone sweat drop.

"Forget it, I'll deal with you another time, but to answer your question boy, is because you died," Shinigami said to Naruto, who's eyes widen.

"I died."

"Yes, and if your wondering how your still alive, then it'd because of that pill you took. It seems that it let you have a temporary death that lasted 12 hours, giving you a 12 hour entrance to the spirit world. Now the reason these people are here are because, to put it simple, I put them here," he said smiling.

"You, what," Kurama said.

"I put all of them here because first, I like you kid, mostly after your little speech you had the day after meeting your team, second I was bored and I thought sending them here would be fun to watch as I watch over all of you."

There was a KI pointed towards the Shinigami as he finishes his little announcement.

"Now that I'm done, I should go. Oh and also you should know that all of their chakra is within you too because I gave you the ability to have them come out of your mind scape like Kurama with a physical state so they will need it and because of your ridiculously huge chakra pool. Bye."

With that the Shinigami left Naruto's mind scape.

"Kit are you alright?"

"I'm going to go get ready," was all he said before he left his mind scape.

When he came back to reality, he was faced to face with Yin, Yang, Akito, and Ako.

"Um...is there something wrong?"

"Just checking to see if your alive cause when we came back from our hunt last night, you were dead," Akito said.

"Yeah about that I'll tell you later, first I have to get ready."

Naruto walk towards his dresser to grab a his dark blue and black kimono to wear. After getting dressed, he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and hair. He wrapped his bandages around his neck. He walked out of his room and grabbed a quick breakfast and headed out the door when he grabbed his glasses and case.

'Well this is going to be a long day,' he thought as the deceased spoke to Kurama in his head.

~Long ass flashback finally ends~

Later on during that time Kurama told the deceased how the village and his old family treated him. It was at first that they didn't believe her, but once they saw what was going on they became furious towards everyone in the village minus Sasuke, Hinata, and Sai.

Now back to the present.

Tora's owner took him from his arms and took him into bone crushing hug. The was trying to get out of the hug and once he did he jumped right back onto Naruto. He rubbed his head on Naruto, while purring.

Naruto pulled something put his sleeve then put it in Tora's mouth. Tora knew what it was and handed it to his owner, who read the front cover that read 'Knowing Cats'. She looked at Tora confused but took the book and Tora out the office after paying all of them but giving Naruto a little more.

"Okay next for you guys is to help one of the counselors wife with house work as she cares for her baby," the Hokage said.

"But Hokage-sama, can't we get something better than being a house maid," Sakura said.

"HOW CAN YOU EVEN ASK THAT, ALL OF YOU JUST BECAME GENIN A FEW WEEKS AGO," IRUKA yelled.

"Its okay, I know that their probably tired of all these D-rank missions. Bring him in."
