three-year anniversary . black notebook . a heavy soul . a sobbing human . clasped hands . chilly hospital room . pain . letting go . dying heart .

          death is here.

          and i bet he knew about it since the room's temperature would fall below normal easily in death's presence. a sketch of his soul — cold and ghastly. he held her hands as tightly as he could, worried that she might disappear the moment he let go.

          oh, how ironic.

          turned out that was exactly when death grasped her soul tightly from the end of her legs to her beautiful head. the heavy soul rested in his hand just after a tug, too ready to leave behind everything.

          even that everything was sitting beside her all this while, and he watched her die.
