I am Detry (Deet-tree). Call me Dede. I am from the Diamond Nation. We are peaceful there, so I was disappointed with the ways things lied out. You wanna know? I'll tell you.

It was a day like no other. I quickly made breakfast for me and my sisters, DeReece and Daisy. Daisy was acting different today, and I thought it was because Father, who was in the Jade Palace as a journalist, had written us a letter that said something important is happening today. It meant he was coming home, at least that's what I thought.

Mother came in, dragging her feet. She looked like a pouty child. I was shamed of her. "Dede, are you going to work today? You know it's a special day."

"Nope! I am just gonna take a stroll to the market so I can buy food for a feast! To Father!" I cried happily. I touched my light teal hair that I had put into a fancy hairdo that included braids. It looked like a crown on my head. I smiled. I looked at my outfit, which was very nice. I blue robe and white shoes, my best outfit ever.

I skipped out of the door, but Daisy went behind me. "I'm coming." She said blandly. Daisy never met our father, for she was adopted she a month ago. No wonder she seemed to be nervous. 

"Umm, Day. Are you okay?" I asked her. All of a sudden, an air bubble formed around us. Fire started raging. The winds grew stronger. Water started raining randomly.

A scary voice, very ungraceful and rude voice stared speaking. There was no other person there, and I thought the Heavens were speaking to me. "Young Detry, you and the five other kids are going to The Jade Palace to serve the Jade King like your fathers. There is a murderous plan, and you are going to risk your life to save the king."

"Father?" I asked.

"No," the voice replied.

"Daisy! Go! Run!" I shouted, trying to force the moon up, but it stayed in it's position.

"No!" The voice told me again. I looked at Daisy, and I saw the fire in her eyes. Yet, they were jade green. Jade green eyes. Jade... "Suprise! Also, you are coming with me!"

That's when I blacked out. I didn't even get time to plan anything out. But I would. I would get to plan things out. With five other children...
