Chapter 5

Aurora's POV

We walked through the camp. Everyone was staring at us. "Why are they all staring at us?"

"Maybe they think you look funny." Me and Peter smile at Lucy. We continue to walk and I can hear Mr. Beaver mumble a few words to Mrs. Beaver. We continued waking, some of the Narnians following us, till we came upon a magnificent tent. Oreius walked next to the tent and waited for us to speak. Peter raised his sword and began to speak.

"We have come to see Aslan." Everyone begins to kneel as the tent opens revealing a magnificent lion. My father, Aslan. Me and the Pevensies kneeled as well.

"Welcome Peter, son of Adam. Welcome Susan and Lucy, daughters of Eve. Welcome Aurora, my daughter. Welcome Beavers. You have my thanks, but where is the fourth?"

"That's why we're here."

"We had a little trouble along the way."

"He's been captured by the White Witch."

"Captured!" The crowd began mumbling.

"He betrayed them, your majesty."

"Then he's betrayed us all."

"Peace Oreius."

"It was my fault really. I was to hard on him."

"We all were."

"Sir, he's our brother."

"I know dear, and that makes the betrayal all the worse. It may be harder than you think." Everyone went back to work and a faun took Lucy, Susan, and Peter to their tents. I on the other hand spent no time running up to my father and gave him a hug. I heard him chuckle. His fur was so soft, like a cloud. We walked in his tent and talked for about an hour, but it felt like years, because that's how long he was gone. I missed him, talking to him, being there with him. I missed everything about him. He lead me to a blue tent with a dress on the only bed. I turned and thanked him and he left so I could get dressed.

It is an elegant dress, one that I really loved. When I got dressed, I walked out of the tent and walked around. I talked to Narnians and talked to old friends like Oreius. When I was rescued from The White Witch, I asked Oreius to train me so I could protect myself and others.

Peter's POV

I stood on a cliff looking out at Cair Paravel, thinking. "That is Cair Paravel of the five thrones, one of which you will sit as High King." I can't be king. "You doubt the prophecy?"

"No, that's just it... I'm not who you think I am."

"Peter Pevensie, formerly of Finchley. Beaver also said you wanted to him into a hat." He laughed lightly and I gave a small smile. "Peter, there is a Deep Magic that rules over Narnia. It defines right from wrong, and helps fulfill destinies, both yours and mine. "

"I don't think I will be able."

"You were able to get your family here."

"Not all of them."

"I will do what I can for Edmund. I too, want my family safe." He looked to Aurora.

Aurora's POV

I was walking around the edge of the camp, not far from the river. Then, I heard Susan's horn, loud and clear. I turned into a lion and ran towards the river. I saw two wolves and my father, Peter and Narnians running towards us. I pin a wolf to the ground and Peter runs to Maugrim. "Stay back, this is Peter's battle." Maugrim says something to Peter and attacks him, making them fall to the ground. My eyes widen as Susan and Lucy call out to Peter. They jump of the tree and push Maugrim's dead body off of Peter, revealing that he is OK. My father looked at me. "My army is under your command as well, my child." I nod, released the wolf and turned to Oreius.

"Follow him. He will lead you to Edmund." Oreius nodded and lead the Narnians after the wolf.

"Peter, clean your sword." Peter cleans his sword and kneels in front of Aslan. My father placed his paw on Peter, then after a brief he took his paw off. "Rise, Sir Peter Wolfsbane, Knight of Narnia." Peter rises and my father leaves. I changed back to a human and gave Peter a hug. I backed up and looked at him.

"I'm glad you're ok." I said. I gave him a smile and left to my tent.

***Time Skip***

I stood outside my father's tent watching him talk to Edmund. I was soon joined by Peter. Then after awhile, we were joined by Susan and Lucy. "Edmund!" Peter grabbed Lucy to keep her from running towards Edmund. Aslan and Edmund looked towards us before walking down to us.

"What's done is done. There is no reason to bring up the past with your brother." He left and Edmund looked up at us.

"Hey..."

"Oh Edmund." Lucy gives Edmund a hug and Susan joins in.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling kinda tired."

"Get some rest. And Edmund... try not to wonder off again."

***Time Skip***

We were all eating breakfast, Ed scarfing down some toast. "Narnia isn't going to run out of toast Ed." He looked up at us before slowing down his eating.

"Then you better pack some for the journey." I looked a Peter confused.

"So, we're going home?"

"You are. I promised I'd keep you three safe, but there's no reason I can't stay and help."

"But we need you. All four of you." I said.

"Aurora, it's to dangerous. You and Lucy almost drowned, Ed was almost killed-"

"Which is why we have to stay." We all looked at him. "I've seen what the White Witch can do, and I helped her do it, and we can't leave these people behind to suffer for it." I gave Ed a smile, to which he returned.

"Well I guess that's it then." She gets up.

"Where are you going?"

"To get some practice." She grabbed her bow and arrows. Me and Lucy looked at each other before following her.

***Time Skip***

All three of us practiced. I helped them both with their aiming (surprisingly Lucy was better than Susan). After awhile we heard laughing behind us. We turned to see the boys. "Come on Ed, sword hand up like Oreius showed us." Mr. Beaver came running up.

"Whoa horsey."

"My name is Phillip."

"Oh, sorry."

"You better come quick. The White Witch has requested a meeting with Aslan." We looked at each other before running to my father's tent. This is not going to be good.
