*Spencer POV*
I wake up the next morning to my phone ringing.
S-hello
J-Hey spence
S-Hey Joey. What do you need
J-I'm just calling to say that work is canceled for today
S-ok. Why
J-Chad and Caleb don't feel like coming in. I have plans to meet with Jewel today just to get to know each other before the wedding tomorrow
S-Alright. See ya
I hang up and before I can get out of bed my phone rings again. This time it's Nell.
S-Hey Nell what's up
N-you need to come to ops. Now.
S-ok. I'll be there
I hang up and quickly get ready. I run out to my car and drive to headquarters. I park the car then run up to ops. I walk in and no one is in there but me, Nell, Sam, and Hetty.
"Uh what's going on" I ask
"Your Aunt died two days ago. Your uncle died 14 years ago. We believe it's the same person. We looked into back ground information on your family. Spencer it's not good" Nell says
"What do you mean it's not good" I ask
(No offense/hate towards Spencer's family)
"You were kidnapped. Your 'mom' met your 'dad' during a heist. They were both trying to rob the same store. Then at some point in their heisting days they stole you. They then moved away from there so that they couldn't be found. They changed identities and looks. Your real parents live here in LA. Well your mom is still alive. Your dad just recently passed." Nell says
"Who are my parents" I ask
"Ashley and Owen Granger" Hetty says
"You mean" I start
"Correct" Hetty says
I sit down in a chair and lean my head in my hands.
"You okay Spencer" Sam asks
"I- I'm not sure" I say
"It's a lot to take in" Nell says
"Wait so that means those two who died really aren't my Aunt and Uncle" I say
"Correct but out of your actual family you only have your mother left." Nell says
"What's going to happen to my mom and Dad that kidnapped me" I ask
"They're going to get arrested but transferred here to LA so you can question them if you want. If you don't want to we're going to have Mr. Hanna do it" Hetty says
"Ok" I say
After that it's silent for a bit till there's footsteps and I feel a hand on my back.
"Come on. Let's go for a walk" Nell says
I nod and let her guide me out of ops and out of headquarters.
"What's bothering you the most" she asks
"That I was kidnapped. And raised by robbers" I say
"They also murdered a few people" she whispers
"What" I exclaim
"They killed your Aunt and Uncle. We just found this out. Sam, Eric, and I have been digging into all of this." She says
"Where does my actual mother live" I ask
"She doesn't want to see you" She says
"How do you know" I ask
"We already reached out to her and she said that she never wants to see her because when you got kidnapped her and Owen divorced. They blamed each other for you getting kidnapped" she says 
I stop walking and sit down on the bench that was near by. She comes and sits next to me.
"You ok" she asks
"It's a lot to take in" I say
"I know but I will answer any question you have. Or at least try to answer it." She says
"And I deeply appreciate that" I say
She's about to say something but her phone rings. She gets up and walks a bit away to answer it. I watch her facial expressions as she's talking. Once she hangs up I stand up and walk over to her.
"That was Deeks. He and Callen are heading over to the hospital to see his sister. He wants us to come with" she says
"Ok let's go" I say
We walk back to ops and get into my car. She starts it and drives to the hospital. We get there just as Deeks and Callen are getting out of Callen's car and Sam and Eric are getting out of Eric's.
"Lookie here. The gangs all here" I say
"Great he's turning into Deeks" Sam says
"Hey Deeks where's Kensi" I ask
"Yeah where is your fiancé" Nell asks
"Here" Kensi says
"What took you so long Fern" Deeks asks
"Why asking Shaggy" she asks
"Cause I want my sister to meet the love of my life" he says
"Great save there Deeks" Callen says
"Let's just go inside so people don't think we're weirdos for standing out here in the parking lot" Sam says
"Wow Sam are you ashamed to be with us" I ask
"Actually Spencer I am. Now let's go" He says
We all go in but as we walk in my phone rings.
S-hello
H-mr. Kane
S-Hetty what do you need
H-ah yes it seems as if one of your band mates could not reach you so came here
S-which one
J-Hey spence
S-Joey how did you even know where it was at
J-I was with you when you drove past it the day before your first day of work
S-Oh ok. What do you need
H-don't worry Mr. Kane. He explained his dilemma to me and I helped him. Now go join the others. We have to continue working on code SKG
S-yes ma'am. Joey have fun on your date with Jewel
J-yeah. It's not until she gets off work
S-Oh ok
I hang up and go find the others.
"Who were you talking to" Nell asks coming over
"Hetty called me. Apparently Joey had a situation. He couldn't get a hold of me so he went to ops and talked with Hetty and she dealt with it but she wanted to let me know" I say
"Ok. Well Callen and Deeks are in the hospital room right now. Kensi is on her way in there as well." Nell says
"Ok" I say
"Are you two ever going to get together" Sam asks
"What" I ask
"You both act like you're together" Eric says
"Well maybe we are maybe we aren't" I say
"Spencer are you here to see bailey" I hear
I turn around and see Jewel.
"Yeah. How did you know" I ask
"I was just guessing" she says
"Hey Joey is really looking forward to the date" I say
"So am I" She says
She walks off and I turn back to the others.
"Who's that" Eric asks
"She is my bandmates soon to be girlfriend. Her boyfriend was cheating on her. His girlfriend was cheating on him so I then set those two up" I say
"Nice going" Nell says
"Hetty also said we need to hurry up because we gotta start working on code SKG" I say
"What's that" Eric asks
"Something Hetty needs me, Sam, and Nell to do. We can't tell you because the more people we tell the more damage gets done" I say
"Ok well it looks like those three are gonna take a while. So us three can leave. Eric stay here Incase they need something" Sam says
"Ok" he says
We leave and go out to my car. Sam grabs my keys and grabs driver. I let Nell have shotgun and I get in back.
"I just realized this but where is Ana" I ask
"Hetty made her go on a special assignment. She came back. Broke up with Callen and moved to Russia where she has a boyfriend" Sam says
"Oh ok" I say
We get back to headquarters and go up to Ops. We get in there and Hetty is already standing there.
"So we know that my actual father is dead and that my parents who kidnapped me are in jail. But do we know why they did it" I ask
"No. That's what we need to find out. Mr. Hana, Mr. And Mrs. Kane are at the boat shed. Take Spencer with you. If he gets out of hand I expect you to deal with it" Hetty says
Sam nods and we go to his car. He starts it and drives off.
"I'm not going to lose control" I say
Sam continues to drive.
"I just want answers. I just want to know why they did it" I say
"Callen was the same way. But he went on the run and took it to the extreme" Sam says
"I won't though. I'm not like that" I say
"Yeah but you already sort of did" he says
"What do you mean" I ask
He takes his com out and motions for me to do the same. We turn them off and place them in the cup holder.
"You went in the run when you got shot, when your bandmates were in danger, your aunt got killed. You ran away from those things when you wanted to quit and leave NCIS. Deeks believed in you. He believed in you so much that he was practically risking his life to get you back to us. He started to relapse. He worked for months with Nate on getting his mental stage back to normal. Nell came along. She started getting close to you. You settled down some but not enough to keep you from running. You need to settle down. I know you like her back. Tell her your feelings. She will keep you steady. It happened with Callen and me. Deeks never experienced it but that's because him and Kensi always knew their love for each other." sam says
"I guess. I'll talk with her after the boat shed" I say
We pull up to the boat shed and put our coms back in and turn them on.
"You two ok" Nell asks
"We're fine. We must have hit a rough spot or something" I say
We go inside and I. The screen I see my 'parents' sitting in the interrogation room. Sam pats my back as he walks pass me. I nod and follow behind him. We go in and he sits at the table while I stand in the corner.
"Hello Patrick and Melissa" Sam says
"Spencer baby what's going on" Melissa asks
"Don't asks questions" I say
"Son" Patrick says
"Sam can you give me the room" I ask
He nods and gets up. He comes over to me and gives me a look. I understand  the look and nod. He walks out and I take my coat off and cover the camera and turn the volume off on it. I also take my com out and stick it in Melissa's cup of water.
"So you're with them now" Melissa asks
"I thought you wanted to be part of the family business" Patrick says
"I thought this was the family business. Going undercover. Getting close with the FBI  getting all the secrets" I say
"Atta boy" Patrick says
"As I was with them they told me I was kidnapped. Is that true. Did you kidnap me mama" I ask
"No. Of course not. You were kidnapped and then we got you back" she says
"Are you sure that's what happened? Because I'm pretty sure you told me when I was eight that the family business was thievery" I say
"Ok ok. Fine. We stole you. We wanted a son. But we aren't able to reproduce and we were walking one day when we saw you. You were sitting on a porch all alone so we called out to you and you came." Melissa says
"How old was I when you took me" I ask
"Four. And then we found out that your biological dad knew about you just last year so we had to get rid of him and we had to do the same with Your aunt and uncle when they were getting curious" Patrick says
"So what information do you have on them" Melissa asks
"That they hired me. They hired me to get information out of you" I say
They look at me and my dad instantly gets a mad look. I look down and see that he's not handcuffed. Neither of them are. My dad flips the table spilling the cups of water and papers everywhere. He comes over to where I am and punches me in the face. I quickly react and punch him a few times. My mom comes over but before she can do anything I put her in a choke hold and get her to pass out. My dad comes at me again with a chair but I quickly pull my gun out and shoot him in the shoulder. He drops the chair and falls back. He quickly regains his balance and punches me a few times with his other arm. I punch him enough that he falls backwards and walk out. I walk past Sam and go outside.
*Sam POV*
Spencer goes into the interrogation room and I come out. As I'm watching the screen the camera goes black. Then Nell appears on the screen.
"I lost all contact with Spencer. Sam you might want to go in there" she says
"Nell we need to have trust in Spencer" I say
She nods.
After a good thirty minutes Spencer comes out looking all messed up. He walks straight past me and outside. I go into the room and both Patrick and Melissa are out cold on the floor and the room is a mess.
"Nell I need two busses. And you might want to come to the boat shed" I say
"Is Spencer ok" she asks
"Well the busses aren't for him but he looks pretty pissed" I say
"Ok. We'll busses should be there soon and I'll get there as soon as I can." She says
I stand up and go out of the room just as EMT's run in. I inform them on what happened then go outside. I look around and then spot Spencer out near the water. I go over and sit next to him on the sand. He reaches into his pocket and hands me a box. I look at it and see it's a recorder. I put it in my pocket.
"You ok" I ask
"You're right Sam. I couldn't do it" He says
"You did a good job Spencer. You got what we needed and you got answers. It might not have been in the right way but you got answers." I say
"Yeah but I messed up. I didn't mean to hurt them. I didn't want to hurt them" he says
"You did what had to be done" I say
"Wait how do you know I got answers" he asks
"You wouldn't have walked out unless you got what you needed." I say
"Spencer" we hear
We turn around and see Nell.
"Hey" He says
"Oh gosh. Are you okay" she asks
"Yeah. What are you doing here" he asks
"Hetty let me leave early because she is letting you leave early" she says
He nods and gets up.
"Thanks Sam" he says
I nod and him and Nell walk off. I go into the boat shed and clean up the interrogation room. I then go back to HQ and up to Ops. When I get up there Hetty is waiting there.
"Mr. Hanna how is mr. Kane doing" she asks
"He'll be okay. Nell is with him and I convinced him to talk to her about his feelings for her." I say
"Very good. Now the recording" she says
I grab it out of my pocket and hand it to her. She puts the tape in the player and we listen to it. It ends and I just shake my head.
"Mr. Hanna I believe this case is closed. Go ahead Home to your family" she says
I nod and head out.
*Nell POV*
Spencer and I leave Sam and go to my car. We get in and I start it.
"Where too" I ask
"Doesn't matter" he mumbles
I pull out of the drive and head in the direction of his house. I'm just about to his house when he stops me.
"Can we swing by chick fil a? I'm hungry" he says
"Of course" I say
I go through the drive through then go to his house. I pull in and turn the car off. We get out and go up to the door. He unlocks it and we go in. We sit down and he quietly prays and then starts eating.
"Spencer I know I'm not religious but you can pray out loud if you want. I don't care." I say
"Ok" he says
"Hey are you ok" I ask
"Yeah. I'm glad it's over and I know the truth. But I want to see my birth mom even if she doesn't want to see me. I want to see her" He says
"I'll look into it" I say
"Thank you Nell" He says
"Just doing my job" I say
"No Nell thank you for all the other stuff. For always being by my side. Even when I didn't want anyone. You stuck with me. So thank you" He says
"Your welcome" I say
"Also, I have something to confess. I know you have started to get feelings towards me. But I've started developing feelings for you too. So, Nell Jones will you be my girlfriend" he asks
"Of course" I say
He kisses my cheek and I blush. I stay a little longer then head out. I get to my house and go in. I go to my room and drift off to sleep.
