*Spencer POV*
We go inside the restaurant and stand there.
"Alright. Sit by band" a guy yells
Joey, Alan, and I quickly find Caleb and Chad and sit with them. I whisper the plan to them and they nod.
"Ok. We only need For King and Country, NewsBoys, Anthem Lights, and Matthew West. All the others can leave" a guy says
They all get up and leave.
"Can you please tell us why you're doing this. All you said was your sisters" Chad says
"Yeah well our two sisters went to this thing with their friends and apparently it went great until you all decided to talk about beauty and waiting for love and what not. That thing is that one of our sisters got raped a couple nights before and the other was in an abusive relationship. They took the message the wrong way." A guy says
"They left the concert and went and committed suicide. They jumped off a bridge and got killed by traffic" another one says
"Is this what it's about? Is this just revenge?" Luke asks
"There's other answers. You don't have to do this. You don't have to kill people." Caleb says
"What's the other option? As we see it there are no others" another guy says
"Jesus. Jesus is the other answer. Pray to him. Pray to him to help you heal. He will do it. Ask for him to forgive you for what's going on right now" Joey says
"Shut the f*** up. That's lies it's all lies"  a guy yells
He grabs a gun from one of the guys and aims it at Joey. I grab out my gun from my sock. I jump in front of Joey and shoot. I feel pain in my shoulder. I drop the gun and fall to the ground.
"Spencer. Stay with us. Come on Spence" I hear
My vision gets blurry and goes completely dark.
*Caleb POV*
Well Spencer shot three of them but he got shot. Before the last guy could grab a gun Chad and Alan pin him to the ground. Joey and I turn our attention to Spencer. We try to keep him awake but his eyes close. Paramedics, police and NCIS run in. The paramedics take Spencer away and then tells Joey to go with them so he can also get checked out since the gun was aimed for him. Someone comes over to me, Chad, and Alan.
"I'm NCIS agent Kensi Blye. You three must be apart of Anthem Lights" Kensi says
"Yes. I'm Caleb Grimm. The blond is Chad Graham and the other one is a former member Alan Powell" I say
"Are you guys alright" she asks
"Yeah. What about Spencer" Chad asks
"We won't know until a bit" she says
Then four other people come over.
"This is Anna Kolcheck, Sam Hanna, G Callen who is Spencer's partner, then Marty Deeks. Everyone this is Caleb and Chad Spencer's band mates and a former bandmate Alan. The fourth bandmate Joey had to go to the hospital to get checked out" Kensi says
"Nice to meet. Spencer probably wanted the introductions to be done in a better scenario but whatever" Callen says
"Yeah" I say
"Hey I've got to head out and get home to my kids if that's alright" Alan says
"Yeah no. Go ahead" Sam says
"We should get to the hospital to check on Joey and Spencer" I say
"Yeah. You go. We'll be there once we complete everything in ops" Callen says
"Alright" Chad says
We go out to Chad's car and get in. He starts it and heads to the hospital. We get there and go inside.
"Spencer Kane" I say
"Go up to floor Three" the lady says
We go to floor three and find Joey in the waiting room. We go and sit next to him.
"You good" I ask
"Yeah I guess." Joey says
"What's wrong Joe" Chad asks
"I don't know. I'm still trying to process everything I guess." He says
"Alright. None of this is your fault" I say
He nods and I don't try to push it. A few minutes of waiting and a nurse shows up.
"Spencer Kane" she says
We stand up and follow her to a room. Before going in she stops us.
"He's alright. We were able to get the bullet out. It just tapped the bone a bit so the bone wasn't shattered. We have it wrapped and he'll be in a sling for a while" she says
We thank her and go in.
"Hey Spence" Chad says
"Oh hey guys. Are you all ok" he asks
"Yeah. We're fine what about you" I ask
"Yeah. I mean I knew what I was getting my self into. It's part of the job" he says
"Yeah we know but you still got hurt" Chad says
"Thanks for caring. You okay Joe" Spencer asks
"Yeah. Thank you for what you did" Joey says
We continue talking and a few minutes later there's a knock. The door opens and the NCIS people come in.
"We'll leave and let you guys talk. See you tomorrow at the studio Spencer" I say
We leave and get in Chad's car.
*Spencer POV*
The guys leave and it's just me and my other set of coworkers.
"Where's Hetty, Eric, and Nell" I ask
"Hetty has them working on something and she's there making sure they don't mess up" Sam says
"How are you feeling Spencer" Kensi asks
"Alright. My shoulders a little sore but it's gonna" I say
"Yeah. Well you'll be out of work for a couple weeks." Sam says
"Ok. That gives me time to work with the guys on recording our songs and such" I say
"How long does it take you all to write a song" Deeks asks
"Deeks no" Callen says
"Oh come on. You don't know what I was thinking" Deeks says
"No. I'm pretty sure we all knew what you were thinking babe" Kensi says
"Are you two dating or married" I ask
"Um it's a long story" Kensi says
"I got time." I say
"Well I'm heading out" Anna says
"Same" Sam says
"Don't kill him with this story" Callen says
Those three leave and Deeks and Kensi sit down.
"Ok. Are we giving him the whole story or just the summary" Deeks asks
"Just tell me the whole story. I have nothing better to do with my time here" I say
"Ok so when I was still LAPD I had to go undercover and Kensi was working a case with NCIS. She beat me up and then I joined NCIS but I don't have NCIS title. Still LAPD." Deeks says
"Eventually one day Hetty made us go undercover as a couple and Deeks started getting actual feelings for me" Kensi says
"I didn't know how she felt but I would flirt with her and try to make it obvious. However she would disregard everything." Deeks says
"Well eventually I noticed. But we were coworkers and I thought that would be weird and Deeks said it wouldn't. We always hung out alone more but we never officially started dating." Kensi says
"Sam and Callen noticed this and pulled me aside. They told me that if I hurt Kensi that they'd pummel me. They care about her like she's their little sis. I promised I wouldn't." Deeks says
"Now there are times that we both get hurt but last year I was hurt really bad and finally was able to be apart of the team again a couple months ago." Kensi says
"She was in a coma for a month or two. I realized that life is short and anything could happen. I did a proposal while she was in the coma. Then when she woke up I tried proposing again" Deeks says
"but I told him he shouldn't propose when I'm like this." Kensi says
"I then tried proposing a third time when she was a little bit better but she said no again because I still shouldn't have done it at that place" Deeks says
"Eventually we had a case that hit close to home for every single member on the team and I realized how short life really is. Anyone can die and at any point so I took a flash band and pulled it. I there it into a Bomb defuser thing and then proposed to him using that ring." Kensi says
"I said yes but as soon as we got to my house after work I took that ring and made her put on the ring that I got her. This all happened two or three weeks ago." Deeks says
"Wow. So you skipped right over the boyfriend girlfriend part" I say
"Eh who needs those titles. The only important one are husband and wife" Deeks says
"True" I say
A nurse comes in and checks some stuff.
"Alright. He's good to go. We were gonna have him stay overnight but everything looks fine so he can leave whenever." She says
We thank her and she walks out.
"Deeks can you grab my clothes from the top drawer" I ask
He nods and grabs them. Kensi walks out and Deeks goes to follow but I stop him.
"I'm gonna need help with my shirt so I don't tear the stitches" I say
"Alright" he says
I get my pants on then I take the sling off. He then comes over and helps me. Once I get the shirt on I put the sling back on. We walk out and we go to Kensi's vehicle. I take shot gun and Deeks sits in back. As soon as we drive away I take the sling off.
"Aren't you suppose to wear that" Deeks asks
"Oh come on. They always just give it to you because it's a suggestion. Anyways then it slows me down" I say
"He's got a point babe. I'd do the same thing. So would Callen and Sam" Kensi says
"How old are you Spencer" Deeks asks
"I just turned 21 last week" I say
"Great. The guys and Anna are headed to the bar. We usually do this at the end of a hard or big case. Want to join" Kensi asks
"Uh sure" I say
"Don't worry. We don't get drunk. We always have just one beer or one of whatever we decide" Deeks says
"Ok" I say
We get to a bar and go inside. We find the other three and Hetty is also with them.
"Mr. Kane how are you feeling" she asks
"Good." I say
"Weren't you in a sling" Anna asks
"I only wore it so I didn't get yelled at by the nurses and doctor. It's only an accessory. Not needed" I say
"True. Very true." Sam says
"See Hetty we have another daredevil" Callen says
"That's not needed Mr. Callen. One is way too many" Hetty says
"Where's Nell and Eric" I ask
"They don't come to these things. They always do other stuff. Weird stuff" Deeks says
"Like you aren't weird yourself" I ask
"Touché" Deeks says
"Wow only two days here and he's already throwing blows at Deeks. I like this guy" Kensi says
"I thought I was your favorite" Deeks whines
"Sorry pal. But I know how to get the ladies" I say
"Wow he's making us all look bad" Callen says
Hetty returns to the table with all the drinks and we continue talking. Once done Kensi and Deeks drop me off at my house. I go inside and change then get in bed. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
