[Prologue]

''You're so impatient.'' I let out a soar sigh, Garte rested his head on my stomach. It did feel heavy and pressuring, but not enough to harm. His ear was down, listening to each movement our unborn child did.

''Of course I am, who wouldn't be?" Garte cooed, kissing sloppily on my stomach, making it tingle. I shrugged my shoulders,

''Hm.'' I smiled, I thought it was cute when ever he would say something cheesy and romantic, being the hopeless romance addict I was. He did feel attached more and more by the day, but at the same time nervous.

He offered for me to take an extra month off of work before I deliver, but to me staying at home did seem to be to boring, to add. I wasn't bending up and down, or running each moment. I was at the kitchen, I'd mostly cut food and mix ingredients, barely ever run around a boiling pot.

''I want the baby to come out as fast as possible.'' Garte repeated, I groan silently. Seeing the excitement in his eyes flutter, he had a huge grin glued between his cheeks.

''Come on, Garte. I am going to sleep."

''It takes you a hour to fall asleep.'' Garte murmured. Crawling up right beside me. I smirked silently.

''Guess we will have to lay around together for a hour until I fall asleep.'' Garte snaked his hands around me, he made sure to be gentle. I cuddled back, resting my head on his neck.

''Do you wanna watch a movie?" He muttered.

''You have work tomorrow, don't you remember? You always go off early in the morning, I think you should get some more sleep.''

''Fine.'' Garte murmured, not wanting to go to sleep.

''Love you.'' He mumbled, rubbing my cheek softly.

''I love you too.'' I responded. Before Garte rumbled around, reaching to turn off the lamp. The light that the lamp gave only stretched so far, the golden tuscan sun light disappeared in just a second. The dark invaded the room, only the light of the moon shone through but it was hard to see, the curtains were blocking them.

I slowly laid down on my back, it was always a pain falling asleep. I'd get hungry, there would be this huge bump on my stomach not letting me get comfortable on the mattress or any sheets, and my back would start to hurt after. Basically, a possibility of anything would wake me up.

Garte was already asleep, or he was already falling asleep. He got comfortable in the sheets, acting like a pure innocent angel. I found him cute- even if he snored into my ear, trying to pulling me closer whenever we would cuddle. I slowly turned sideways, trying to not get me or the baby hurt.

''Pss, Garte.'' I peeked up, bopping my finger onto his nose silently. Garte groaned, realizing I wasn't asleep. And I wasn't going to let him rest either, even if I just told him to go to sleep.

''Yes, Honey?" He spoke up, I silently giggled. His voice was sore, but he tried to hide it, acting sweet and soft.

''Garte, well, I have been thinking...And I have a question.'' I spoke up, Garte stood silent for a moment, possibly rubbing his eye.

''At this time-'' Before he could even fully ask, I interrupted him.

''Yes.'' I responded in a solemn tone.

''Well, what is that question?" Garte turned his full attention to me.

''...If our kid grows taller then me...'' I pause silently, Garte furrowed his eyebrow.

''...Would I be a minimum?" Garte stays silent for an utter minute, just staring at me before his expression changed as he realized what was the joke.

''Nooo, Zianna. Stop it.'' Garte complained, whining in his deep tone like a child. Slamming his head on a pillow that puffed up.

''You know, I hope that never happens.'' Garte said after calming down.

''H-Hey! Don't say that, you never know what will happen.'' I slammed my hand on his chest, but Garte was strong. So, for him it felt like a soft pat.

''Like what?" He asked, requesting for more detail about that subject.

''I don't know, a car crash, something will be sent on fire by accidentally, illness.'' Garte turned his head, he bit his lips, drawing a line, agreeing that it could happen.

''Like what type of illnesses?" I shrugged my slim shoulders, signifying I had no clue. It took my mind a dry second to come up with an idea.

''I don't know, Cancer I guess.''
