May 5th 1921

Maria is now back at the cellar with me, it's good to see her back early from her little adventure that made her go into a fit. I wonder why shes having a fit now at all times when she just went out for a walk. Well she does have epilepsy, I just need to understand that it could happen at anytime not just once. But I do wonder if she has seen the killer?

Maria still won't respond to me. I'm trying to help her the best I can but whatever I do it never works. Its best if I just leave her alone for now. It has been about 5 hours now; Maria has finally gone out of her fit. I am grateful that it didn't get out of hand like many times before.

I don't blame Maria for having all these fits, It's probably because of all the drama and terrible things that have been happening in Germany. All the depression and trouble happening between all races, I can't believe this is all happening.

Maria said that another person has been killed today, it is now up to 15 people killed in one day and counting. With all this drama happening we have to many cases to do in one day, it's too stressful for Maria and I. What can we do?
