"Ah!This is just so beautiful!!"

That was the first sentence Suji said when she walked into their new house.She said this everytime she walked into the house.Suji was fascinated by this house.She couldn't believe this house was made in the early 1900s and that too in Korea.The wooden walls,most of the furnitures,decors and everything was so beautiful.The house was really big yet it felt so comfortable and homey.Suji herself doesn't know why she feels so fascinated by this house.She just does.She feels as if this house was meant to be hers.

Suji's admiring the house came to halt when she heard her elder brother shout from behind.

"Can you stop staring at the walls and help me get the stuff inside,you annoying brat!!!"

Suji turned around towards the door and saw her elder brother,Seokjin struggling to get the cardboard boxes inside the house.

"Shouldn't you be the one that's doing this?You are the elder one!"Suji shouted.

Seokjin frowned his brows and threw the cardboard box he was struggling with on the ground and put both of his hands on his waist,"Because of you we are moving into this haunted house.I also agreed even though you know how much I hate this!!The least you can do is help!"

Suji rolled her eyes.He won't stop nagging till she helps him anyway.It is just better to listen to him.She rolled her sleeves and grabbed the cardboard box from the floor and brought it in.

Their parents have some important things to do so they would come in the evening.So Seokjin And Suji were given the duty to bring the stuff and arrange them as much as they can.

Seokjin had called his friends Namjoon and Yoongi over to help.Suji called her best friend Jungkook over.After they reached they helped sorting everything and Suji was really grateful for their help.Because of their help they could sort most of their stuff and bring the house to s live-able situation before evening.

Yoongi,Namjoon and Jungkook also loved this house.Everyone agreed with Suji that the house was indeed beautiful.Suji and Seokjin asked them to stay for dinner but they couldn't as Namjoon and Yoongi had meetings and Jungkook had to attend a soccer match.

After taking a bit rest in Seokjin decided to watch TV in the living room and Suji decided to go to the roof to get some fresh air.

Seokjin was flipping through the channels.Nothing caught his attention and he was getting bored.He sighed and looked at the clock situated above the television.

"It's 8.Why aren't mom and dad back yet?"Seokjin asked and kept flipping through the channels.

Right then the television turned off and the temperature dropped a bit.Seokjin frowned and turned the tv back on.But after a few moments he tv turned off again.Seokjin started feeling a little scared but decided to brush it off.But no matter how many times he turned the tv on it kept turning off.Seokjin decided to stop and be brave.He kept the remote on the tea table and picked his phone up.

"I will just scroll through instagram and see what others are up to."He said in a shaky voice.For a few moments nothing happened.But suddenly the temperature dropped again making him feel cold.Seokjin tried to shake the feeling again.

After scrolling through instagram he started feeling bored again.

"God knows where Suji is.Staying here in this big ass room alone is so boring."

Seokjin suddenly felt something icy touch the back of his hand.Because of it the phone he was holding was about to fall but he somehow managed to catch it.But his heart started beating louder.He was scared now and it was pretty obvious.But the next thing that happened almost made him get a heart attack.He immediately called Suji.

In the meantime Suji was on the roof.The moon was up,the breeze was blowing,Suji could see their beautiful neighborhood.Suji felt refreshed and happy after coming to the roof.After standing on the roof for a while She decided to go to the room that was situated on the roof.This small room was made completely out of wood.It had a hip roof which had a window on the side.The moonlight fell into the room from there.Because of it the room didn't need any extra light.There was also a window by the door.There were two wooden benches on the sides of the roof.And there were some old,worn out cabinets and some some items stacked in one side of the room.Suji didn't get to spend time in this roof when she came here last time and she didn't pay much attention to it.But now that she's in this room,she finds it beautiful.Everything about this room is beautiful.The moonlight falling from the window above made this room seem magical.

"But why's it so cold here?"She asked herself.It wasn't so cold on the roof outside.She brushed it off and went towards the cabinets to see what was in there.There were painting canvases outside.Inside the cabinet drawers there were old paint,paintbrushes and a lot of painting materials.The drawer under it held a lot of paintings.

"Woah!!"She was really impressed after seeing the paintings.Those didn't even look like paintings.They looked like real photographs."I guess the previous owner was a painter.But why didn't he take these beautiful paintings with him when he moved out?"

Suji admired the paintings for a while before putting them back in their respective drawer and went on to the next drawer completely ignoring the feeling of someone's eyes boring into her back from the wooden bench behind.

She didn't even turn around to see if anyone's there because she knows it's her imagination.

The next drawer held lots of music sheets,pages filled with lyrics and an old flute.After she closed this drawer and opened the next drawer she felt someone breathing right onto her neck from behind.

As if someone was standing right behind her and watching her every move.

Suji brushes it off again and saw that there was a really old photo album in it.

"Interesting."She said and was about to pick that old album up but the drawer suddenly shut closed really fast causing a loud noise before she could even touch the album.

She raised her eyebrows.

What did just happen?Did I see right?

But before she could think anymore she heard a scream from downstairs and it startled her.

"SUJI-AH!!!!!!!"

It was Seokjin's voice.He sounded horrified.Suji frowned.

Why is he shouting as if he saw a ghost?

Suji sighed.She can't deal with him.Now she has go down and deal with whatever happened to him.Sometimes she feels the older one of them two.

Whatever happened in this room slipped off her mind completely as soon as she entered the living room and saw Seokjin standing on the couch with a blanket over him.

"What the hell,Oppa?"Suji asked,a bit shocked.

"Suji-ah...we need to move out of this house,right now.The rumors...are..true.This house is haunted!!So haunted."Seokjin said in a shaky voice.

"What are you even talking about?"Suji asked.

"I was watching tv and it kept turning off no matter how many times..I turned it off.."

"That's because you pressed the off button by mistake,Oppa."

"And I got goosebumps all over my body and...felt ice cold fingers on my hand..."

"That's all your imagination,Oppa."

"...and most importantly..when I said..I felt bored in this house...I clearly heard..someone laugh..a male voice..."Seokjin said with a horrified look on his face as if he was remembering how the voice sounded.He shivered a bit."We need to move out of this house right now,Suji-ah."

"Oppa..it's all your imagination,calm down..."

"NO,IT'S NOT!"

"Oppa,you imagined all of these stuff because the rumors you heard about this house.Your mind is playing tricks on you."Suji said confidently,"Ghosts don't exist!"

As soon as she said that two things happened.First one was that Suji heard an unfamiliar voice laugh right beside of her ear sending a shiver down her spine.Second one was that the bell rang indicating that their parents are back home.Suji again decided to think about the laughter later and open the door first.She thanked God that their parents returned at the right moment because now they can help her calm Seokjin down.

Calming Seokjin took quite awhile,that made Suji completely forget her two unusual encounters.She is quite forgetful.

That was a bit dissatisfying for some people living in the house.

It has been one week since Suji started living in this house.She loves everything about this house except for the times Seokjin starts being dramatic about something weird things happening to him.That's one of the few disadvantages of this house.In this week Suji didn't face anything too weird but occasionally she felt someone watching her,breathing next to her or even talking to her.She thinks all of this as her imagination.

She wanted to start investing why people were so scared of this house but she still couldn't start because of her school work.There was a project given and she had to do it within two weeks.But she was so busy last week with moving she couldn't do it.And her project partner,Jungkook,made her do all the work as usual.Suji is also a bit thankful for that because whenever she gives him to do something,he messes up.He messed up a project last semester as well.Suji rolled her eyes even thinking about that.

Anyways....right after moving in Suji got busy with school and this project.After one week of working on this project completely,sacrificing her sleep and food for this project she was satisfied with it.She had to present this project to the teacher by tomorrow so she needs to look presentable and not like a sleep deprived zombie.And that's why she needs to sleep peacefully tonight.

But no matter how much she tries she can't sleep beacause of the noises coming from upstairs.Her room is directly under the room on the roof.Every night after 12 am noises start to come from there as if someone's walking and bouncing in there.It irritates her so much.She's pretty sure there are a lot of mouse living there.She even told Seokjin to put mouse traps there but she is pretty sure he forgot.

After rolling on the bed for almost an hour,trying to ignore the noise Suji just couldn't take it anymore.She threw the pillow she was hiding her ears with and got out of the bed.She decided to take the mouse traps on the roof by herself hoping it would help.She took the mouse traps and went to the roof.

At this rate she was way too sleep deprived to think straight.

When she got in front of the rooftop room she paused.From the window beside the door she could see what was happening inside.And that shocked her a bit.

Inside she saw a boy sitting in the middle of the room back facing her while painting in the canvas in front of him.

Moonlight was falling on his blonde hair from the window on the roof making it sparkle.

What the hell?Who is he?

Suji cursed at herself for asking such a stupid question.

What do you mean "who is he?"

He is clearly.....a thief.

Shall I call the police?

No..I'm too tired to deal with this shit right now.Calling the police would mean one more night of not sleeping.I can't and shouldn't do this to myself right now.

Suji took a deep breath and then bursted into the room.That startled the boy and made him turn around.

Suji could see his face now.Suji was speechless for a few moments.She doesn't know it's because of the situation,the moonlight or what but he...

......looks ethereal.

Suji doesn't remember seeing a man as handsome as him ever.He could give any actor or model a run for their money.Suji closed her eyes.

What crap am I thinking now?It's not a time to fantasize,Kim Suji.And he's a thief..that came into your house without permission.

Suji opened her eyes and took a deep breath.That guy was still looking at her and she started.

"Look,Mr.Thief.First of all it's not cool to come into someone's house without permission and even if you come,why're causing so much disturbance?Why are you walking around creating so much noise?I can't sleep because of you.And I have a project to present tomorrow...Do you see how much disturbance you are causing?It is so not..nice..."

Suji was talking continuously till now and now she stopped to breath.The guy was still looking at her,he was so startled that he dropped his paintbrush after listening to her.

Suji started again,"All..I'm asking to you is that don't create noise...I really need to sleep.I'm not in my right mind right now,I'm sure you can tell.So please please don't walk around and just sit still without making any noise or else I will really call the police."

Suji said and left after slamming the door behind her.After she went to bed,she couldn't hear any more noises from upstairs.

Well..at least...he listens..

Even after Suji left the rooftop room,slamming the door shut behind her the blonde haired boy inside of the room was stunned.He turned to the black haired boy who was the actual cause behind the noises,standing by the wooden bench on one side of the room,looking equally stunned as him.Both of them stared at each other for a few seconds before the black haired boy asked,"What just happened?"

The blonde haired kept starring at him.

The black haired boy said,"I have so many questions right now.First of all how did she even see you?I thought you Weren't visible for them now."

"Yes..She wasn't supposed to see me."

"Even if she did see you..Why didn't she see me?"

The blonde one shrugged while picking up his paintbrush from the floor.

The black haired one continued,"And even if she saw you..shouldn't she be scared to see an unknown being in her house at 1 am?Isn't that how most of them react?"

The blonde one still stayed silent ,trying to figure out what just happened.

"And most importantly did she call you...a thief..?"The black haired one said and bursted into laughter,"..that to because of something I did?You always get blamed for the stuff I do!"

That lightened the environment a bit.The blonde one cracked a small smile.

"Should I just walk around making more noises to annoy her?"

The blonde one shook his head,"I don't want to be called a thief again."

The black haired one laughed,"Anyways....what do you think about this Suji girl?I've been messing around with her for the past week.But she doesn't freak out easily...unlike her brother..."The black haired one chuckled remembering Seokjin's expressions.

The blonde haired one stayed quite for a few moments,"She's certainly interesting."

"True,"The black one smirked,"Looks like the next few months are gonna be really really fun."

The next day after Suji's presentation was over she sat in the school library trying to make sense of what happened last night.Whatever happened last night felt real but it had a really low chance of being real.If there was actually a thief in her house she would actually report it to police,no matter how tired she was.She is not that irresponsible.She feels like last night she was in some kind of trance and was seeing things.She even called her mother and made sure there was nothing valuable or even invaluable missing from home.After thinking the whole situation for the whole day and thinking of different points,she concluded that whatever she saw last night was a dream or hallucination that her subconscious and tired mind made her see.There was no thief.

No human can look that out of the world anyway.
