Chapter 28

     The next morning Raymond Wharton finally left the Ellington's house after a few days to bring Mrs. Jane McKenzie and Tom with him to the party. The party was held two days later.
Georgiana didn't feel good at all and was very anxious.
Karen, who had gone out for a walk, quickly put on her gloves and sun umbrella when she returned home and looked for Mrs. Ellington; when she saw her she went to Mrs. Ellington and said: "Mother, I saw Elizabeth today."
   Mrs. Ellington said: "Elizabeth? Here?"
   "Elizabeth said' that she has been living here for four years.' "
   "So why didn't we see Elizabeth in this time?"
   "I don't know; but when she heard that we have a party the day after tomorrow she was very happy. Mother, your work got harder."
   Mrs. Ellington smiled and said: "No, it's a small party. Don't worry everything is fine."
