It was the first time I ever left without noticing the girls. But they should have seen this one coming through a mile away. After our little argument, I felt better when I disobeyed them. Even though they're not my parents, nor my family, just someone I know, who refuse to tell me about my past. 

For now, Karai and I were on our way to Sinnoh on the ship. The mist surrounded the ship, as Karai yelled instructions. 

Our 'home land' is the land of Mist. Just like the name suggests, its always surrounded by it. None of the regions of the outside world knew of it. As far as I know, the people living in the land of Mist are those who were washed ashore from the sea. Communication was not possible. Most probably its not even on map, That's kind of obvious with Karai's frustration.

"Jeez, old geezer can't even read the map right!" remarked Karai. I looked over her shoulder to see the world map.

"Uh Karai, what's the closest region here?" I asked

"Well... most probably Kanto I guess." She replied unsure. 

"Well in that case, we most probably are somewhere here.." I pointed out in the map. It was quite away from Kanto, but as compared to other regions, it was actually the nearest region there is. 

"Are you sure?" She inquired. 

"Well, considering we have been covered with the eternal mist area, we can't use pokemon to get us out. And also keeping in mind that our home land is the only land covered by eternal mist that covers approximately 90 kilometers to the right, 50 to the left and most probably 99 from the back of the island and 44 from the front... based on my calculations and assumptions on where we started, we should probably change our direction to the left, so that we could use the front route." I explained.

"How do you know that?"

"Uh... just something I heard back in our island hehe" I nervously chuckled. Truth is, all of us girls have tried to escape the island to head.... somewhere. But they dropped the plan because they feared my memories would return.

"To the left!"  Karai ordered. She glared at the guy who didn't listen as he was humming some tune.

"Bishop are you even listening!? Stop humming and turn the wheel thingy to the left now!" She yelled before calmly looking at the sea.

"It's called a helm." I spoke out thoughtlessly. 

"Helm? Never knew that." Karai admitted. I was surprised myself. I didn't know how I could to know it myself.

Suddenly, a black and white picture of a girl came in my mind, who was trying to turn the helm, someone sinking, a pokemon, the girl being tied and someone holding her by the hair. 

I sighed, within few seconds the impact of the 'flashbacks' will come to me.

"I am heading in, I feel sick." I said before heading to the  my cabin.

"Motionsickness?" Karai said with a sly smirk, but her smirk fell when she didn't see me besides her.

"Are you sure we should attend the ball and the ceremony?" A green hair guy asked.

"Yup! Princess Dawn is our friend of course!! And besides, who knows we might get a chance to fight!! And don't forget the food too!!" The raven head exclaimed as the electric mouse pokemon on his shoulder smiled and agreed to him. 

'I wonder what Paul might be going through..' The green hair thought as he saw the said guy entering the room, informing that they are ready to dock in Sinnoh.

"Princess Dawn is marrying Prince Barry!! I heard in royal marriages many exquisite dishes are served!! and for free for the invited guests!!! I Don't believe it!! Who would have thought pirates like us had a chance attending one of these!" The raven head- Ash exclaimed. He started imagining himself going to the royal ball, eating all the food like a wild animal. Fighting with the royal princes in a friendly dual.

"Don't get your hopes high." The green haired guy- Drew said. Receiving a confused glance from his brother, he sighed.

"Pathetic. Even if we got invited, doesn't mean we will be accepted there." Paul spoke up. 

"Huh!? What do you mean by that Paul!" Ash retorted

"I mean you're so dumb to realize that Princess invited us cause she pity us! There is no one who would accept who we are! Why doesn't a simple fact as this gets in that thick skull of yours!!"

"Who are you calling Dumb!?!"

"The person who is Dumb here. And the only person Dumb here is you!"

"Liar"

"Pathetic Blockhead!"

"Icey cold face!"

"Good-for-nothing Captain"

"Ice cube!"

"....." 

Paul left the room by banging the door hard. Drew sighed. Dawn used to call him that, as since he was so close to her, hearing that nickname is enough to give him a bad mood. Who can blame him though. It's been five years since Dawn contacted them. Not only that, even though they have turned good, not everyone believe them and respect them.

Drew and Ash, captains of the famous Black Rose Pirate Ship, looked at each other before looking the other way.

"Chance of attending one such marriage is rare... I hope you have given up hope on Princess Mistfire Ash." Drew said. It was obvious, Ash had realized he liked Misty when she left them. The loss of her sister, Princess Maybelle's life was too much to handle for any of them. But that was 5 years ago. A lot had changed since.

The black rose changed its name to Blue rose, the previous name of the ship at the time when their mother 'died' and their father was murdered by the snake pirates.

"You look beautiful Darling Dawn!" The queen exclaimed with delight. Dawn looked herself in the mirror. She was wearing a long white silk Dress with red heels. Her hair was open and she was wearing a white pearl necklace. Dawn smiled. Even though her smile was beautiful, it wasn't the same as before. 

"Thank you my Majesty." Dawn spoke.

Dawn's mother nodded before leaving Dawn alone, as she went to prepare for Her daughter's wedding occasion that would be next week. Dawn smile fell as her mother left her side. 

'She looks so happy' Dawn thought to herself as she tried to smile. Marriage with Prince Barry... She didn't mind that first, but after she was kidnapped and the incident happened. She couldn't marry him anymore. There is someone else who she likes. But he isn't a option. Not for someone of the standards of a Princess. Dawn's mother tried her best not to let Dawn contact any of the pirates. But she agreed for the wedding though. At least she would get to see them again.

Will Paul be there? Does he remember her? had he changed over the years? has he found someone else to love? Many questions were inside her head. She didn't know what to think of anymore. 

'Its best if I forget about him... for mother's sake'

' I wonder what May would have done...' 

Tears came in her eyes. She had avoided even thinking about May's name for 3 years. And now those memory came back to her. The death of her dear friend. The blood she saw. 

She closed her eyes to prevent the tears from falling.

"Dawn dear!"

"Coming." She replied.

"Alright so here is the plan." A guy named Leo said.

"There have been rumors about Shredder striking again some. According to Donnie, he would go after the pieces. There are about six of them. We need to stop him before he gets them all. So we four would split up with the Hoenn Army." Leo explained.

"Have you inquired the king about this?" Donnie said. Raph and Mikey looked at Leo for answer

"Yes, he said we could use his army. "

"Isn't there like? Some marriage ceremony thing going on soon in other region?" Raph pointed out

"Yes, and luckily one of the pieces is there. The enemy would most likely strike during this time." Leo said.

"Why this time? There would be plenty of food to eat! No one could miss that! We could trap the enemy using a mouse trap with ultra stinky cheese! and pizza too!" Mikey suggested enthusiastically. 

"Most of the people will be busy with the marriage thing, so it will be the perfect time to strike for them. Raph and I will be on this mission. While Mikey and Donnie will look after the castle." Leo explained, ignoring Mikey completely.

"HEY! THAT'S CHEATING! YOU WANT TO EAT ALL THE FOOD BY YOURSELF LEO!!" Mikey protested. 

"Why do we have to stay in the castle?" Donnie asked

" The castle needs to be guarded at all the times. We can't leave them unguarded. Besides Eve is here too. So she could keep you company." 

"That's still isn't fair!!" Mikey whined

"Mikey, I will bring you five pizza from Sinnoh if you be a good boy. OKay?" Raph said.  Mikey grinned excited as he gave them a quick 'Yep' as an answer.

"So what's the plan Karai?" I asked. We already reached Sinnoh.

"The plan is to strike during the marriage." She replied looking at me from the corner of the eye. I nodded.

"But there is a catch." she added. I looked at her as she smirked.

"They would expect us to attack at that time. We will, but not in the way they expect us to go about." Karai explained.

"Plan is first, we need to locate the room where it is located. First when we get to know the room, and what the weapon is, we would steal it on the marriage day or a day before that. Also, we need to find it in 1 week." She told me. I thought about it and nodded.

"Alright, for now let's see where we would live, let's go separate ways."  

We went our separate ways. I looked around near the dock area for a house we could live in, or some abandoned building. I bump into someone 

"Hm? Are you-" The guy stopped himself from speaking any further. 

"May? ...... is that you?" 

I opened my eyes. My eyes widen, I have seen this guy in my flashbacks before.
