Kevin was enjoying Katie who was awake at the moment

"Katie do you want to go on a walk cause one of the nurses can take us on a walk" he says to the baby who was wide awake and looking around at the moment

Katie gives him the look of yes daddy i want to go on a walk I'm tired of staying in this hospital room

"Okay we will go maybe daddy will stop at the gift shop after we go outisde for some air and some sun, and get you some items since he doesn't have anything for you" he says as he wraps Katie up in a fun blanket that one of the nurses picked up for him to have since they needed the other blanket for other babies

"You are on cute little girl Katie McHale" he says to her as he holds her in his arms as the nurse comes in, so she could push him down to the gift shop, so he could go shopping

Kevin hands Katie to the nurse, so he could get in the wheelchair to head out

"You are going to get some air Katie girl cause daddy wants to take you out to get some sun" he says as the nurse pushes him out of the room and takes him outside, so Katie could get some fresh air, and some sun, so she doesn't get jaundice cause he doesn't want her to stay in the hospital for a long time he wants to take her home when he gets released

Once they got outside Katie loved the sun, so Kevin opened her blanket up, so her body could take in the sun warmth

"Where do you want to go Mr. McHale?" the nurse asks him when they got outside

"Over there looks like a good spot" he teels the nurse

The nurse takes him to the spot that he wanted to be with little Katie

"Push this when you are ready to go in" the nurse tells him

"Will do" he says as he gets out with Katie

Kevin sees Lea and Chris come towards him

"Kevin aren't you supposed to be inside?" Lea asks him

"Yeah but i decided to come outside for some fresh air" Kevin says as he looks up at Lea and Chris who was standing in front of him

"Kevin who is that? Chris asks him

"Oh may I introduce you to me sweet and adorable baby girl who I adopted earlier today" Kevin says as katie looks up at him with her big blue eyes

"Kevin what on earth made you decide to adopt a baby?" Lea asks him

"Lea I'm not getting older, and since I'm not seeing anybody right now at the moment, so it seems logically to adopt a baby. Plus when I'm not working on any movies I can spend my time with her to give her all of my love and attention. Which she loves" Kevin says angrily at Lea

"What about Sophie?" Chris asks Kevin

"I'm still going to keep her, and Katie will be my travel buddy when i need to travel. Plus i can do all those cute father/daughter things with her when she gets older which I am excited for. Plus it is lonely in my house when I don't have anyone over, so this is going to fix everything" he says as he walks his two fingers up Katie's chest

Lea wasn't happy about the baby, but Chris was on board for it

"The nurses say that they don't know where she came from, so instead of her going to the state I decided to adopt her as my little girl" Kevin says as he gives Katie a kiss

"I'll shop for her nursery, and whoever wants to we can do when the rest of the cast shows up to visit you in a little bit" Chris tells Kevin

"I better get Katie a better blanket, and a cute outfit to wear, so she looks presentable for the cast" Kevin says as he hands the baby to Chris to hold as he gets back into the wheelchair

"I saw that there was a small babies r us close to the hospital, so we can head there to go shopping for her. You can pick out her nursery furniure and everything" Chris says as they head towards babies r us

(Much later)

Kevin comes out with some cute blankets and outfits for Katie to wear. As well as some headbands to wear on her smal head

"She is going to be as stylish as her daddy" Kevin says as they heaad back into the hospital cause Katie had to go down to the nursery for something

"Bye Katie I will see you in a little bit cupcake" he says as he gives her a kiss before handing her over

"How are you going to explain this to the rest of the cast?" Chris asks him

"I'll find a way. Right now i want to go up to the room, and pick out the color paint for her nursery" Kevin tells Chris

Kevin goes with Princess Pink for Katie's room cause it suited her well as well as a cute crib that he could put a netting over

"How has fatherhood changed you Kevin?" Chris as ks as he sits down

"So much I can't imagine not being that pretty girl daddy for anything" he says as they rest of the cast comes in with Get well soon balloons and cards for Kevin

"Thanks everyone for the ballons and eveything that is going to help me get better" he says as he accepts the many gifts that the cast had for him

"Oh Mr. McHale a certain little girl missed her daddy" a nurse says as she comes in with Katie

"Oh I have missed her too" he says as he accepts Katie from the nurse

"Kevin how did you get a baby?" Naya asks him

Kevin starts explaining how he got Katie in his care as he feeds Katie her bottle

(Much later)

"She looks comfortable with you kevin" Becca says to him

"Look at all that brown hair" Heather says to the cute baby

"I am over this" Mark says as he leaves the room with Chord, and some of the other cast who weren't supporting Kevin as he was going to be Katie's daddy

"Kevin can we do the nursery?" the girls besides Lea asks him

"Of course, and Darrin do you think you can paint the nursery for me, and get the furniture together?" Kevin asks him

"Yeah and if Chris helps me we can do it twice as fast" Darrin says to him

"Count me in" Chris says as they leave to go get the paint that Kevin wanted for the nursery

The girls went shopping for everything that Kevin will need when he gets out of the hospital

"Katie do you want to rock a bit?" Kevin asks his daughter who started to get sleepy

Kevin slowly gets out and heads for the rocking chair that was brought in for him

"Here we go close your pretty little eyes" he says as he starts to rock her to sleep
