It was the day that Kevin and Katie were going to be released from the hospital, and Kevin was excited to bring his baby girl home

"Here's Katie" the nurse says as she brings Katie into Kevin's hospital room, so he could take her home

"Hi Katie" he says when he sees his little girl in the bassinet who was wide awake, and looking around at where she was at the moment

"She had her first shots, and her foot pricked. She is ready to go home" the nurse tells him as she gets Katie out of her bassinet for Kevin to hold in his arms

"How was she?" Kevin asks the nurse as he holds his arms out for the baby girl who looked happy at the moment

"She was a typical newborn she cried when we pricked her foot, but she settled down after awhile" the nurse says as she hands Katie to Kevin

"It's okay baby girl today you get to come home with daddy to stay, and you are going to have a great life with me you'll see" he says as he holds her in his arms once more

Katie started to fall asleep in her daddy's arms cause she was contented at the moment in his arms

"Oh are you sleepy sweetie?" he asks his daughter as she started to close her pretty little eyes and go to sleep as he rocked her to sleep

Soon Katie was fast asleep in daddy's arms

"Daddy is going to get you ready since he got ready to go home before you came down" he says as he grabs one of her pretty outfits to wear out of the hospital that day

Katie didn't stir at all as Kevin dressed her she was fast asleep

"You are a heavy sleeper Katie bug" he says as he puts her in her car seat, so they could go home

Katie moved a little bit as he buckled her in her car seat

"Daddy going to cover you up, so you don't get chilled" he says as he puts one of her blankets around her, so she stayed warm cause her body temperature might go down

After Kevin secured her, and covered her all he had to do was wait for discharge papers for the both of them, so they could go home

"You are one cute baby Kaitlyn Kenna" he says as he admires her as she sleeps peacefully in her car seat

"Ready to go home Kevin?" Chris asks as he comes in cause Kevin couldn't drive yet

"Ready as I wil ever be" Kevin says as he looks at Katie who was still sleeping like a little angel

"Is Katie ready to come home to her new home?" Chris asks

"She is ready what does her nursery look like?" Kevin asks Chris

"We went Disney since you have been to Disneyland so much, so we went that route with her nursery" Chris tells him

"I can't wait too see it, and get her settled in" Kevin says as he rocks Katie's carrier a littl bit cause her bottom lip started to quiver

"The cast who are supporting you decided to give you a shower to welcome Katie" Chris says as he sits down in one of the hospital chairs

"They don't have to do that" Kevin says when Katie fell back asleep

"They want to Kevin we are doing a male version of a baby shower for you it's going to be fun" Chris tells him

"I hope you are right" Kevin says when a nurse comes in with a wheelchair, so Kevin and Katie could leave the hospital together

Chris volunteers to carry Katie out since Kevin was still recovering from surgery still

"Katie you get to ride in Uncle Chris's car for now since daddy is still recovering from surgery" Chris says as he secures Katie in her car seat base that will go in Kevin's car later down the road after he recovered from surgery

Chris helps Kevin into the backseat before getting in on the driver's seat to take Kevin home

"Drive slow Chris I don't want Katie to have whiplash already" Kevin says as he checks on Katie to make sure she is okay in her car seat

'I will Kevin don't worry" Chris says as he pulls out of the hospital to take daddy and daughter home

Durring the drive home Kaie woke up from her slumber

"Hi Katie did you have a nice nap huh?" Kevin asks as he looks at his daughter who was wide awake and looking around at where she was now

Katie does a small smile for daddy

"I take it you did right now daddy is working on your baby book a little bit, and writing down some information, so he doesn't forget" he says as he strokes her small cheek

Katie made an o shape with her mouth, so he figured she was getting hungry, and it was almost time for her bottle

"Daddy will feed you at home cause he has to warm one of the bottles up for you" he tells her as Chris continues to drive to Kevin's house

(Kevin's place)

"Chris can you heat a bottle up for Katie really quick inside the house cause she is getting hungry back here?" Kevin asks as he gets a bottle out of the diaper bag that he had for her

"Sure buddy i will be right back" Chris says as he goes into Kevin's house to heat up the bottle for Katie, so Kevin could feed her meal

"It's coming love" Kevin tells her when she started to cry

Kevin rocks her to keep her calm while her bottle was being heated, and soon Chris comes out with a bottle for Katie, so Kevin could feed her 

"Here we are love" Kevin says as he feeds his daughter her bottle

Katie started to suckle her bottle for her daddy

"You must be hungry love" he says when she started to suckle the bottle for her daddy

Chris helps Kevin out while he feeds Katie her bottle

"Thanks buddy" Kevin tells him

"Oh you are quite welcome" Chris says as he walks beside Kevin as he continues to feed Katie her bottle

Once Katie was fed Kevin burped her

"There we go now to change you love bug" he says to her as he lays her down outside, so he could change her diaper before she goes into the house for her party

Katie had a mean diaper for her daddy

"There now to go in for your party little one" he says as he wraps her up after he changed her

Katie was going to stay awake for a bit

"You have pretty eyes Kaitlyn" he says as he looks into her eyes

"Surprise welcome home Kevin and Kaitlyn" the cast says to him

"Thanks guys this means the world to me" he says as he sits down with Katie, so everyone could see her and hold her
